Love me a yellow sticker bargain but finding them fewer and far between! The only thing I found with the street market stalls (and I’m fussy admittedly) is that there’s more elements able to land on the produce, you don’t always know how long it’s been out for and it doesn’t seem to last as long. The ones near me, anyway x

@@TheBudgetMumUK oh I totally agreed it took me many years to find a great fruit supplier that is reliable and has excellent quality and variety. Early mornings in my local Tesco has loads of discounted prices. Always good to ask in your local shop which days and times they put it out. Waitrose near me on Monday’s has a lot discounted meet. I also found an amazing app that fight against high waste of food and non food items. I collected a few times already a few items available on my neighbourhood. discovered Olio app when reading a magazine about our community and have been using it and totally recommend it.

Hi, I don’t specifically do that at the moment as previously I needed every penny. My daughter does have one that gets money put into it. I used to add to it if her dad ever sent any money… he hasnt in years so that’s that. I have recently started something else and I’ll be sharing a video on this soon ☺️

I guess I’d say a tip would be, ‘out of sight, out of mind’. I take the money left over and it either gets put into my challenges straight away or locked away until I need the binder again. It’s like it’s waiting there to do its next job of going to a saving challenge and not its next job of ‘being spent’. Don’t take extra money with you to avoid the temptation- take a single wallet for the purpose you’re going out for xx

Hi Melissa, welcome! Hopefully I can help. I’m going to assume you’re U.K. based but if not then hopefully some of these translate to where you are. But some of my favourite stores are Furniture Village and Next for example display. I also got bed and mattresses from Bensons for Beds. Best times are when seasons are switching over because stock changes then. Head to the sales when Next advertise them as they are also selling off their ex display things but this does go quickly!! Always keep your room dimensions with you as if you need to nip home for them you may be disappointed on return. Always worth asking if it’s their best price, especially if it’s been there a while. More likely with furniture or bed stores, not so much with Next or B&Q as they know those will go quite quickly. Hope that helps x

Oh you’re absolutely right. I could have gotten more if I made my own, and as you can see in pretty much all my other videos this is what I do. This video was different to my usual, and I do mention this a couple of times throughout, and the reasons why I didn’t this time. Thanks for watching! ☺️

@@TheBudgetMumUK sorry but I was a single mum for 8 years. I struggled with money and still ate healthily (most of the time lol ) baked potatoes etc are hearty healthy meals. I still at 63 years old make hearty meals. My hubby calls me a tight bitch 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈. But we eat well. This week I bought ham hock to make ham and lentil soup for example. I batch cook and freeze x

@@TheBudgetMumUK I also make cheap other soups. Carrrot and orange etc . Good meal with a bit of crusty bread. I so understand the incentive part. My hubby works shifts and it pains me to cook for myself. The slow cooker is the best invention ever for me tbh x
