Da, da, definitely superficial only. I've seen on another episode they didn't even weld the elbow joints under the reinforcement plate on a front tractor loader... Unbelievable... But they take some time to bondo over the welds to make it look cool.. 😄
Well, the holes were crooked, but I would opt for inserts or weld the holes and redrill... Also I'm amazed why they weld dot by dot and possilbly get lots of slag inclusions..
Da, I was wondering about the same thing.. They weld a 25mm plate to some other 10 or 15 mm plate with dot by dot technique, then they go over by cranking excessive amps... Well, they are thinking ahead, as they have to ensure future flow of work. 🤣
Hell no, just butt her up and weld it back! No need to clean that slag off either, just run a new bead over it! 😂😂 These guys would benefit greatly from using a simple welding hood on their head, I don't care who you are, using two hands to run a bead is better than one!
Yes, it may be an old machine. But this is impressive, in the United stated this would have been sent to a salvage yard, the good mechanical components and straight body panels removed, and the rest scrapped
They do all this engineering to machines and engines whilst it is plastered in dirt and mud, they build engine in the dirt floor and never clean anything, they weld without removing scale or rust, and they expect it to work out for them.
You can watch a 100 videos of people working in Pakistan and India and it's the same story. Pick it up - throw it on the ground. Make a half-assed superficial repair and then put it back together. When a metal part is fatigued to cause a failure, it's time to replace it, not to try and repair it. The second you apply heat you change the molecular structure of the steel, which will cause more failure. Why doesn't anybody teach these people the proper way to weld and to know when to replace a part?
It would be quite difficult to explain ibn detail to you why these repairs are done then way they are done. To put it briefly, India and Pakistan both are developing countries (the video in question being from the latter) and access to new parts is sometimes exorbitantly expensive. People live and earn on a day-to-day basis and if machinery is out of order, then it affects their ability to feed their families (since many lead a hand to mouth existence) The machinists and the operators rely on each other to fill their bellies. Moreover, it is not always about doing the job the way it is meant to be done, it is sometimes, getting the job done with what is on hand and in the time available.
It's a verypoor country, replacing a part that has to be shipped in from overseas is unfeasable, they do what they can with what they have, this shops offer the customer at least a chance to keep on working for pennies on the dollar.
Porque o trabalho do indiano é no pior lugar possível?
These guys remind me of my old boss…couldn’t get something to move so bash the sh!t out of it…glad i used patience and know how. Glad to say I learned nothing from him! I do like to watch these guys though..

Impresionante poder verlos travajar los felisitos sigan suviendo videos
Anybody else notice a total lack of penetration with the welding ?
Penetration? It's all about time here, those boys are paid big bucks, no time for that fancy stuff..
Da, da, definitely superficial only. I've seen on another episode they didn't even weld the elbow joints under the reinforcement plate on a front tractor loader... Unbelievable... But they take some time to bondo over the welds to make it look cool.. 😄
They just want to do more screw unscrew..
What welding?
Awesome work. 😊
Thanks a lot 😊
That was some hackery of the highest order!
Well, the holes were crooked, but I would opt for inserts or weld the holes and redrill... Also I'm amazed why they weld dot by dot and possilbly get lots of slag inclusions..
Awesome video and hardworking people.
hello friends, it's great to see this video, greetings from Indonesian excavator operators
Thank you very much Brother ❤️🇵🇰
Those sledge hammers have hit everything but the lottery 😆
You never see those guys make a V cut / chamfert before welding

Yes well you can see the part wii probably not last as long as the factory built one
At least they try, and it's probably super cheap

I usually see them welding some 2" gaps haha

All the tools and equipment they have, all the work involved in repairing the frame but they used zero weld prep or a basic proper welding hood.
Low penetration of welding makes a product not long lust..it's a junk
Forget about the lack of eye protection and foot protection, Why don't they just simply use tables?
You are absolutely Right these people should take care of their feet 🦶 And Eyes 👀, But these people have become used to doing things like this 💁
I can’t believe they have a mag drill 😮
They Grease the Turntable Mount turn the Chassis over & lay the mount in the Dirt well, that was a smart move!!!
Let the sprockets wear down nubs 😆👏

This is why they call it Amazing Things Restored...it's amazing it actually works after they have hacked it!
Ensures repeat business...
Seems like some of them aren’t wearing the usual Safty sandals
Great job👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
Big thanks
I wonder if that’s the crane they repaired in the other video?
Yes of course it is the same excavator machine
Nice job guys.. keep safe
Thank you ☺️
@@muhammadali77 welcome bro.
what welding rods do you use ?
J421
@@muhammadali77 thanks
It's a 6013 rod. Completely the wrong rod for this
That's what I was thinking.
@@Roseland8 are you sure?

Absolutely 💯
what's with these people and throwing parts on the ground? anyway thanks for the video.
Thanks
It take 100 years to wair out peace of equipment over there to where it can't b repaired anymore
was thinking the same myself .........but in the west we have become used to a throwaway world .........!

Yes Bro you are absolutely right But our Pakistani brothers find it very difficult to work wearing safety shoes 👟 gloves 🧤 and these things
Yeah I dont think anyone else is going to cry over your lost fingers on that worksite.
Absolutely 💯

It took 7 days to complete this video
What are you saying I don’t understand
@@muhammadali77 It' s like a joke stuff . Pakistan's skillful guys regular use a bend rods for welding. Not in this video.
Of course You are right Sir, you may not like the work of these people ☺️
