13pm is excellent if you don't want to splurge much money on iphone. great camera & battery, too bad in my region it lcd suck much and many of them are having issues with screens i wouldn't trade mine with 15 series if not having any problem
Respect to the 15 Plus. Lasting longer is such a critical feature of a phone, the fact it outlasted everything else is extremely impressive. Love this content btw!
Get anything other than the iCrack pro max. apple made the screen so strong they had to crack the back. (The back glass is one of the most brittle in generations)

Same with me I’ve had multiple different phone brands. My first smartphone was a nokia windows phone for 1.5 years. Then 2 Samsung’s which after 2 years felt slow. And then the iPhone 13 pro max I’ve now for 2 years. And for the first time there’s no reason for me to upgrade. Software works great, phone is still very fast and battery is still good. So my next phone will definitely be another pro max.
I am really impressed with how well you test these products. I saw this video when it was posted and recently got myself the 15 plus. So far very happy with it
I am quite impressed by the base 15 setting some new standards For non pro people who want good performance with good battery life Now the base varient does make a lot of sense.
Isn't it that 14pro max and 15 plus has got exactly same chassis, LTPO display and chip, not sure about battery but 15 plus still manages to give extra 2hrs battery backup in comparison to 14pro max
I’m glad to see that the 15 Pro Max is getting good run time similar to the 13PM. The 14PM was mad decent but just real lackluster in battery. Now I just hope that the 15 line doesn’t suffer from the same degradation as the 14 line this year.
my 2 year old heavily used 13 pro max is currently at 89% and I sometimes even deactivate optimized charging when in a hurry. So imo the 14 series has some issues.@@zart3374
@@qnqaiz3461well it depends on how much you use it, how high the stats are and how full the phone is, even then it's quite impressive you managed to keep it that strong for that long 👍
I honestly didn’t expect for Mrwhosetheboss to upload the battery test video this soon. It really goes to show how much dedication this man has to his channel. Props to you!
Yes, at least there is one advantage to the 60 hertz. Though it is still ridiculous for the price but I'd love to see how much of a difference the 15 plus would have lasted if it had 120 hertz.
In my opinion an iphone is a phone you need a case on or you only get 1 drop and it cracks there just not built to take a fall especially with stuff like a glass back
Just about two years ago I bought the 13 mini based on these test. And now, as I am considering the 15 upgrade this channel was the first place I thought to look. Nice job!
@@YogurtluSu hey I’ve been using the 14 actually (my job wouldn’t do the 15 just yet come to find out). And although I can’t answer your question on the 15, I can say the 14 is pretty much the same as the 13 mini but way batter battery life. I’ve gotten used to the size. But I’ll always love my minis!
I have the 14 Plus version and the battery is staggering! Recently, I went on a trip to Milan, flew out in the morning and when I got back home late at night, I still had 8% left. I used Maps a lot, Bluetooth on, cellular on and I watched Prime Video during both flights the whole time! And all of that without any battery saver. Love your videos, keep it up!
People probably don’t understand the determination you need to sit around to do a 13hr battery test. Really impressed with the 13promax and glad that the 15+ did the best probably due to a bigger battery but a less power hungry processor. Thanks for another very informational video!
@@masterdna117 FYI I am used to working 14-16 hours a day, and I am talking about hard labor. To be sitting around and looking at phones is harder to me then actually doing hard work.
Genuinely surprised at how long that 15 plus lasted. I clicked on this video thinking for sure that 15 pro max would destroy but I was wrong. It is impressive how much battery life Apple was able to squeeze out of that thing
Coming back to this video 2 months later and this test was a great indication of what’s to come. The 13 pro max battery was AMAZING. I loved my 13 pro max battery and the phone was brilliant, got the 14 pro max and I noticed straight away the battery was a big hit in performance which was upsetting. And the 15 pro max 2 months in is back to, if not better, than the 13 pro max. Great work Apple bringing battery back up to a great standard
Went from 13 pro max to 15. Battery is a lot different. It’s like the 13 pro max never wanted to die, but the iPhone 15 is good enough for me, and I enjoy having a smaller phone again.
I’ve had a 14 Plus for about half a year now and while I don’t love it like I did previous phones I do like the battery life. It’s pretty okay, and I use it a lot through a day. Rarely have I needed a plug unless I failed to charge it the night before. These huge batteries are pretty neato

After a year and 1 month of owning the 13 Pro Max, it’s still an absolute tank. With 95% battery health, I checked my battery and was quite astounded to find that I recorded 11h47m SOT and 44m screen off, consuming only 81% of my battery. It’s NEVER died on me since owning it! I use my 14 pro max all day and usually charge it to 100 before work. After that 7 hour shift, listening to music, having my blood sugar tracked, listening to youtube videos screen on or off it's usually at 65-70% battery life. I'm really happy with the power this phone has and the battery life I get out of it even after seven hours of what i'd consider to be heavy use is insane.
I don't get it, I see so many mixed feelings about the 14 Pro Max's battery life... I see a lot of comments that say they it's really good, and others that say it isn't good at all, to the point where I've seen people say it's been the worst battery on any Pro Max phone, I don't think so though and I don't even have the phone myself 🤷🏽♂️
@@turodre9899It honestly depends on how often you’re on your phone. I’ve been using the 14 pro max for about a week and it last me all day!! I’m not on my phone as much as I was but for me to have 40-30% at 9 pm is actually amazing

As solid as ever Arun! Thank you for all the work. Just two things- 1) Maybe start showing the current battery capacity for iPhones. (Ik you often get new phones for these tests) 2) Set the speakers to an average level for all phones cause imo that def. affects battery life a lot.

@@samlee6870 Have you even watched the video at all? He even mentioned that this test is more focused on a regular day to day basis and not so heavy task focused like the previous ones, hence why it lasted longer. Its a diferrent test.
Thank you for consistantly doing these battery test videos. I went back 2 years to the 13s battery test so I could compare it to the 15s side by side and it was really helpful.
The 15 Pro didn’t perform bad at all. The 15 Pro Max had 19% more which is normal for the pro max variant. The thing is we had high expectations due to the 3nm chip, but Apple chose to increase chip performance over adding battery life.
I mean, this was still extremely good battery life, most users don't manage to deplete the battery, even with heavy tasks all day long... Still, maybe if iPhone 16 series go out with 2nm process, they might add both battery life and even more power, so from that point forwards, it will be a BEAST at almost any task iOS can handle
It wasn’t surprising at all It was to be expected. Literally every plus model iPhone is the one you should buy if you want maximum battery life This has been the case since the 6s plus
I use my phone all day everyday for work, using multiple applications, making phone calls, travelling etc. The screen is on alot of the time as well. So battery life is the #1 priority for me. I grabbed a 15 Pro Max but after seeing the results here.. I would be slightly tempted to get a 15 Plus just for the battery life but I don't think I can live without 120hz. Great video.
Do the same, ordered the pro max and delete the order and take the 15 plus, now from 12 pm with 80% first start I’m trying to discharge the battery ( it’s 2am is in 18%)
I needed to see this, thank you! I just recently got the 15 plus. I spend a lot of time watching RUclips videos and am constantly checking my battery usage. It felt like it was dropping so fast but after seeing your videos, it seems right in sync with your results. 😮
That was my estimation of watching the time lapse vs my phone. But in reality it wasn’t very good but I took my phone to Apple aand they said the battery was good. They made just a a couple of settings changes and it is doing great now. I’ve got nearly 8 hours of screen time and I still have 46% charge left.

Im going from the 11 pro max and im so relieved to see that the 15 pro max outlasted all the other pro maxes. I’m super impressed by the 15 plus and honestly glad to see that the fourth wheel has its purpose in the line up. I would be curious to see an 11 pro max vs the 15 pro max in battery though
just wait till the website gsmarena tests the iphone 15 pro max , there you can go to any reviewed phone and go to the battery test of that phone and there compare it to older phones like the 11 pro max , for example there your 11 pro max does 102h enduracne rating and the 14 pro max 121h and the 13 pro max also 121h, they also seperately do web browsing / video playing / phone calls battery test for all phones. Or the website devicespecifications once it does the iphone 15 pro max it also compares battery life to ALL other older phones.

Quality video and I appreciate your time to put these videos out. I know it’s not fun to sit there for 15 hours straight changing apps and watching batteries drain.
Amazing task and time taken for this really appreciated test even though I still bought the iPhone 15 Pro for the functionality of the LiDAR (not many reviewers talked about) that greatly assist many focus functions especially in lowlight conditions I missed when I switched from the iPhone 12 Pro to the iPhone 13 Mini for size & weight comfort (and how I wish Apple will bless us with a iPhone 15 Pro Mini build with light weight Aluminum that has way better heat dissipation than Titanium like my Aluminum ECO roof does!!). I had TARRABLE overheating and poor battery life (worse than my iPhone 13 Mini) when I got it; however, with the iOS 17.0.3 update I am now with 55% vs less than 25% at the end of the day when charged up to 80% maximum setting without feeling any heat. Heat = lost of energy so I would humbly suggest a new battery test to accurately reflect the true battery life of the iPhone 15 lineup with iOS 17.0.3 or later, not because the iPhone 15 Pro would not still ended up the last place but we all can have a more accurate runtime reference.
The 15 pro doing that badly compared to the others makes me really disappointed considering I was hoping I would get better battery life than what I’ve gotten from my 12 pro since day one
It’s really bad, I got it yesterday and returned it today. It dropped 20% in 2 hours with 45 mins sitting in my pocket. Probably going to end up with the Pro Max since it seems to rival the batteries of the 13’s

Been waiting for this video. I am so glad I went with the 15 Pro Max this year. I was a regular Pro user since the iPhone 12 Pro and battery life always ended up being subpar other than the 13 Pro which started off pretty great but ended up getting worse just before I upgraded to the 14 Pro and the battery degradation of my 14 Pro made battery life just plain horrible, almost as bad as my 12 Pro was. So far with the 15 Pro Max, today I’ve had it off the charger for over 11 hours and I’m still at 68%. I also got my wife a 15 Plus and she’s loving the larger screen and fantastic battery life. As much as I loved the size of the Pro model phones, I’ll never go back, simply because of the battery life of the Pro Max models.
agree to that, i have a 12 pro and the battery is a total crap will never go back to regular Pro until they fix the battery life which is very pathetic compared ...
I really hope people choosing the max for it's battery doesn't result in iphones getting even bigger, i already think my 13 pro is a bit big, i'm fine with managing my battery usage in favour of a smaller phone, wireless chargers on my desk and car mount, plus fairly fast charging these days mean it's never hard to keep it topped up, that said when you do end up away from a charger for a while the battery anxiety is real so i do really hope even more effort goes into battery life rather than the next best "feature" to market to people, for now though i'm just glad once my battery starts showing it's age i can replace it fairly cheap instead of being forced into an upgrade.

The truth is I ordered the iPhone 15 Pro two weeks ago. I watch this video thinking oh I’m very disappointed in the iPhone 15 pros battery life but then I looked at the video from last year and the iPhone 14 Pro only lasted seven hours and 40 minutes! that’s a big jump. Plus it has the new or better processor. I’m getting it I’m very happy.
By comparing this results to the results of the previous year (and adjusting them based on iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14) the iPhone 15 pro is about 30 minutes longer than iPhone 14 pro. From my understanding, while gaming, 15 pro models consumes more than 14 pro, but the opposite is true on everyday usage
Wasn’t expecting the iPhone 15 Pro to be second-last, kinda mad that Apple wasn’t being efficient with the new technology, but then again it lasted extremely long.
The resolution is higher, it's 120fps instead of 60fps on the base models, and the battery capacity is actually lower I think so not surprised With all the gpu upgrades, a cut to battery life was expected. It also has 8gb of ram instead of 6 on the base models. TL:DR If you don't poweruse your phone you'll be fine honestly.
You need to compare Apple to Apple. The 14 pro had a worse battery life than the standard 14. So the fact that the 15 pro outlasted the standard 14 means it is an improvement over the 14 pro.
I love my 13 Pro Max and this made me feel still great about it. Definitely not considering upgrading just yet. Probably not for a long while. Thanks for the great video!

@@florian_d Its not that you'd see the performance outside of benchmarks. They could put an M2 chip in your iphone and you probably wouldn't notice a difference in performance. The iPhone XS Max is not even noticeably slower than my 14 Pro Max
@florian_d You'll only see a difference in gaming resolution and fps. Also, the 15 pros have 8gb instead of 6, so they should save more background info.

one interesting stat here would be to show a battery percentage vs time graph with indicators for which app is being used. I have a feeling that the performance will vary based on the apps because the Pro versions have a 120fps display whereas the non-Pro are 60fps which probably gives them an edge even if the Pros are LTPO.
Truth been told , i expected a lot more with 3nm chipset and other architectural changes I hoped 10-15% more. Now it feels like the mobile performance graph is almost flattened. Hopefully a groundbreaking tech comes in the coming years.
Why would they give us that when we all keep buying the same non sense they release each year? They have no incentive once we have proven we will settle for upgrades that would have caused Steve Jobs to cancel the entire release.
I am so disappointed by the battery life of the 15 Pro. Actually wanted to buy it, but now definitely contemplating that again. Thank you for this test!
I mean it would be better to get the pro max. I didnt really see reviewers talkimg about this but the 15 pro has intentionally worse battery life than even the 15 so that people would be attracated towards the pro max. Tbh i would go for the 13 or 14 pro max if i were you.
Shows how different these comparisons can be. I just saw the video from about two years ago where you did a battery test when the 13 series came out and the 13 pro max had 9 hours and 52 minutes. Also I love the effort and work put into this video. Must have taken so much time to create, thanks a lot! It would have been nice to see how the 13 pro did since im planning to get that one soon (on iphone x currently). In your last battery test video that phone (13 pro) did amazing! (It got 8 hours and 17 minutes. Pretty good if you consider that its bigger brother 13 pro max had 9 hours 52 which is wayyy bigger)
Yeah that’s very interesting how it got 9 hours 52 mins in that test two years ago and 11hours plus here. I wonder if it’s improvements to battery efficiency through software or simply the variance of different tests.
@@jayg339I’m pretty sure it’s the latter of the things you mentioned. Software updates could have influenced the battery life a bit for sure. But definitely not nearly this much
While the 15 pros should have better battery life than the non pros, I believe it wasn't fair for them to run on the higher refresh rate that too at a high brightness level. What will be interesting though is how long all of them last at the same refresh rate, especially the 15 pro max and the 15 plus.
That is a great way to waste another 12 hrs… let’s be honest, pro motion is a part of the “pro” feature pack just as anything else, so it should be counted as anything else. The next thing someone might say under these conditions is “but it is not fair how the max phones have bigger batteries, so how about if they started with less charge.
Most fair comparison would be to compare 15 pro to 14 pro. I think the difference would be small. Also yes you are right about refresh rate and how this is unfair comparison due to this factor. But then 15 pro meant to run on new chip technology. One would expect that this chip would be more energy efficient.
@@pistopit7142 the newer chip is energy efficient but the sad part is that the efficiency relative to last year’s chip is really less so in real life the effect is negligible.
Question. As I do not see it mentioned. Was the battery capacity checked on every phone? To ensure there was no degradation on the 14 and 13 models? Just out of curiosity. Edit: Yep. As below replies mention.. 0:20 shows
They all as at 100% battery health . If you slow playback down to 0.25 at 20 seconds ish you can pause video and zoom in to see all phones battery health at beginning of video. There was no degradation on any as all was 100%
I have a 15 pro, and my daily usage is about 40-50% of the total capacity. I’m glad that most modern phones easily last a full day for most users, not having to worry at all about dying during the day is great.
Woah! I cancelled my 15 Pro pre-order and I’m getting the 15 Plus - the 3x/5x cameras are hopeless (f/24 and f/21 full frame equivalents, unusable!) and with a battery this much better… plus it’s thinner and lighter and more durable from recent drop tests!
@@MLTAKOS to have significantly less battery and durability and a bigger, heavier phone? - if promotion is more important than all of that, go for it, to each their own :)
Damn. I was going for the 15 pro, but after this I might need to rethink lmao. Even though going from a 12 pro to this would already be a huge improvement
Comparison is the thief of joy, get what you like! All these phones have insane battery life compared to the 12 pro. We get like 6-7 hours of screen time on the 12 pro
The other thing that I think is important to remember is efficiency can also come from software. And given apples track record of honing their products even after release I think it's safe to say the 15 line up will likely get more efficient as they work on software and it's interaction to the new chip.
Finally, a real battery test, many other bloggers allegedly have a phone that lasts 16-17-18 hours, but this is a phone just pulled out of the box with 0 applications, and it's clear that it will work for over 12 hours of continuous operation, because applications work in the background, you don't even need to open them. I thought it was my phone, I thought that everything was bad in the battery of my new phone, my phone quietly holds a charge for a day, but not constant use as in the test. I was afraid that my 15 pro max had a defective battery

Part of the reason it's able to last for so long is that it's screen doesn't have to refresh at 120Hz.

I was waiting for this video. When I got my 13 pro max (what I just upgraded from to the 15pm) I watched the video you posted in its release, solidifying my choice to buy it the next day.
Они просто снизили мощность процессора в новом обновлении поэтому не греется. Так что это самый неудачный телефон из новой серии
I thought the same. I am planning to get one 15 pro coming of one iphone 12. The battery on the 12 is so bad and I don’t suffer with a bad battery again. I am quite worried of getting the 15 pro after this battery test!
Regular pro has been crap since 11, pro max is the way, and telling from my experience you honestly wouldn’t mind the weight after a while of using it.
Love my chunky 14 pro max lol
the 12 pro would even last 6 hours
@@Fernando_1903 I had the 11 pro and it was a beast for battery, the 13 pro has been good but not quite as good.
With the weight reduction on the new phones the 15 pro max will probably feel the same as my 13 pro.
I was hesitating between the 15 and 15plus, and you convinced me of the plus. Great video, thanks
I really hope people choosing the max for it's battery doesn't result in iphones getting even bigger, i already think my 13 pro is a bit big, i'm fine with managing my battery usage in favour of a smaller phone, wireless chargers on my desk and car mount, plus fairly fast charging these days mean it's never hard to keep it topped up, that said when you do end up away from a charger for a while the battery anxiety is real so i do really hope even more effort goes into battery life rather than the next best "feature" to market to people, for now though i'm just glad once my battery starts showing it's age i can replace it fairly cheap instead of being forced into an upgrade.
im upgrading from a 12 mini, now im questioning getting the 15 pro? I used to have the 10s Max. Do you recommend I get the 15 pro max? I hate big screens but curious what you think
@@rrkk773 the battery of the pro model is very bad as it seen in the video as well. Having 12 pro i can tell u , battery is pretty bad ... either get the pro max or plus model
@@rrkk773 If you are coming from a 12 mini then a Max or Plus model will be like picking up an ipad, also the 12 series is regarding as having the worst battery in years so if you managed with the 12 mini then a regular 15 pro will be a healthy battery upgrade still.
Thank you for this video. I just got the 15 Pro Max and have noticed my battery seems to run low sooner than my former 13 Pro Max. I thought it was my imagination. That isn’t enough to make me regret the purchase, I just carry the Apple Mag Safe Charger. The change to titanium, better hands-feel and dynamic island were worth it. The $585 trade in discount made it a smart choice.
The 13 PM was the best battery I ever owned in a smartphone. Huge downgrade to the 14 PM last year! I hope the 15 will reconcile this…
The 15 pro max can get even better battery life if Apple decides to tune down the performance of the chip a bit by updates.
@@beteljuise9617Why would you want Apple to tune down the performance? What's the point in buying the pro max then. You should just get the regular 15.
@@opeyemikenebecause the A17 pro chip is 3nm and is mad strong. Probably too strong for everyday user’s needs. If it was tuned down to A16 bionic performance unless you were gaming etc the battery life would be improved.
@@shirodad Don't be silly. If it's turned down to the A16 level performance, then why get a 15 pro max? One should just get a 14 pro max then which is now cheaper.
@@opeyemikene there should be a high performance mode and an adaptive mode. It unlocks the full potential of 3nm manufacturing process to suit your needs. I got a 15 pro and tbh the battery life has been mediocre compared to my previous Pixel 7. Was expecting a massive increase in efficiency, looks like Apple only focused on the performance side of things.
Thanks for this nice test!
I think that the longer battery life of the 15 Plus compared to the 15 Pro Max is because the 15 Plus has a 60Hz display and therefore slightly lower consumption despite the A16 chip.
smart
I really hope that they throttle down the 15 Pros in a software update to get better battery life because I want to upgrade to it and not feel like I should have bought the regular 15
same dude i’m not even a gamer or heavy on tasks just want as much battery life as possible i pulled the trigger on the 15 pro too remember though that was in 120hz if it was in 60hz it would’ve boomed i’m assuming.
Bought my 15 plus a few days ago and just watched the video now. As someone who has pride of taking care of my phone’s battery - my iphone 11 is still currently at 100% battery health after more than a year since purchase, this video made me very happy with my decision 🎉🎉🎉
How did you do this magic?

This justified my wanting the 15 plus. I’ve been a pro girl since its inception but I honestly want to go a bit wild and get the green one. The color is subtle enough that I wouldn’t regret it.
I'm undecided whether to get 15plus or 15 pro do you think plus is better?

@@eddysw8549it really isn’t. Bear in mind I have a 240hz monitor and a 13 pro wjth 120hz and I’m just going for the 15 plus. 120hz is frankly useless for a phone. There is a difference but it’s literally a phone

@@ilfolletto4562which one did you get ? I bought iPhone 15 and regretted buying it instead of 15 plus .
The timer phone actually won the competition 😂
Lmao I noticed it now 😂
The truth is I ordered the iPhone 15 Pro two weeks ago.
If I’m not mistaken, the 13 Pro was really good as well. As someone who owns one, it would have been great if you’d included it as well.
Ye
Yeah..!
Amazing Battery Life ..!!13 Pro❤
I'm using 13 Pro too I confirm this is also my case
13pm was included bcuz it had the best battery life out of the 13 series
13 pro max was included cos it beat tge 14PM last year
That’s crazy….
That Apple finally mentioned the competition instead of their old phone
By comparing this results to the results of the previous year (and adjusting them based on iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14) the iPhone 15 pro is about 30 minutes longer than iPhone 14 pro. From my understanding, while gaming, 15 pro models consumes more than 14 pro, but the opposite is true on everyday usage
thanks!
@@timohaneder82 you are welcome
Wasn’t expecting the iPhone 15 Pro to be second-last, kinda mad that Apple wasn’t being efficient with the new technology, but then again it lasted extremely long.
The resolution is higher, it's 120fps instead of 60fps on the base models, and the battery capacity is actually lower I think so not surprised
With all the gpu upgrades, a cut to battery life was expected.
9+ hours is still a really long time given the fact that it has pro motion and a smaller battery
@@Sc5chthe resolution is higher my ass 😅. Only 120hz pro motion and low battery mah made it die faster
I love my 13 Pro Max and this made me feel still great about it. Definitely not considering upgrading just yet. Probably not for a long while. Thanks for the great video!
13 pro max alrdy offered us the best functionality that we need.. great battery life, 120hz screen, better camera.
Yep still happy with my 13pm I would consider upgrading after 3 more years
Has the battery degraded a lot since you had it?
I’ve had my 13 Pro Max since December 2021 and it’s been a beast throughout.
Thanks for validating my 15 plus purchase. I could give two hoots about refresh rates and 5x zoom but battery efficiency is non-negotiable
Thank you. This has helped me decide which one I’ll buy: the 15 plus.
Its kinda crazy, that the base model lasts longer than the pro. I wonder if apple even tested it.
Finally the comparison. Thanks for quick posting!
Edit: It’s impressive to see 15 plus to finally be the best lasting battery ever made by Apple.
Wow, this video is absolutely incredible! The quality of your content is truly outstanding. I was thoroughly engaged from start to finish. Thank you for sharing such valuable and informative content with us. Keep up the fantastic work!
The smoothest way to make a person watch an ad, by including it in the test🤯🔥🔥, you keep getting better😭
The difference in battery life between the 13 pro max and the 14 pro max was noticeable so I’m really happy the 15 pro max has better battery life among the 3. However I was expecting way better performance from a 3nm chip.
Same, I am thought the 3nm would be a bigger jump, both performance and efficiency wise
I’m sure it will be once more software updates come out for iOS 17 as this is a whole new major update
@@florian_d Its not that you'd see the performance outside of benchmarks. They could put an M2 chip in your iphone and you probably wouldn't notice a difference in performance.

@@yournemesis192 yes, but it’s a protection of what we can expect of the M3 family
@florian_d You'll only see a difference in gaming resolution and fps.
Also, the 15 pros have 8gb instead of 6, so they should save more background info.
There should be 2 more phones included in this test - iPhone 15 pro max and iPhone 15 pro but both limited to 60 hz screen refresh frequency. It would be good to compare how strong is the influence of variable frequency screen refresh with hard limit set on 60 hz
THAT'S what needs to be tested...
Why bother? You don’t buy a pro phone to use 60hz. Well maybe you do, but it would be crazy 😅

one interesting stat here would be to show a battery percentage vs time graph with indicators for which app is being used.
I have a feeling that the performance will vary based on the apps because the Pro versions have a 120fps display whereas the non-Pro are 60fps which probably gives them an edge even if the Pros are LTPO.
true. a 1whole day of youtube test would do it and will let us know which really has the best battery
Amazing video. Took wayy too long to find a test this thorough and transparent.
They have no incentive once we have proven we will settle for upgrades that would have caused Steve Jobs to cancel the entire release.

don't, talking as a very disappointed 15 pro user. The batterylife is really terrible, never regreted a purchase as i have now
I mean it would be better to get the pro max. I didnt really see reviewers talkimg about this but the 15 pro has intentionally worse battery life than even the 15 so that people would be attracated towards the pro max. Tbh i would go for the 13 or 14 pro max if i were you.
You need a max model

Hate to be that guy but now you can say the video was top “dynamic island” as notch dosent exist anymore 😂
I just bought the 15 plus a few days ago, the battery life is SUPERIOR.

I assume so. I think he buys brand new phones for these videos.
its in the 0:19 mark of the video just set it to .25x, i think you skipped over it or it happened fast. but yeah it’s shown that all phones are 100%
They all as at 100% battery health . If you slow playback down to 0.25 at 20 seconds ish you can pause video and zoom in to see all phones battery health at beginning of video. There was no degradation on any as all was 100%
3:35 that wave tho.
