Thanks! It's my daily driver. All stock 5 speed manual with wheels and tires. 130whp at best and 3,000lbs. lol. Nice to see some Hyundai out there. Pretty quick car man. 👍

Thanks for the video! Have you considered adding throttle and break inputs? I find those more useful than pedal cam it can be hard to tell when you're at 25/50/75 throttle or what your brake pressure is at certain corners. Anyways, keep up the good work!
If you look at the main infotainment screen, the number on top left with green bar is the throttle input and the red bar under the track map is the brake input. Yes, I know they are hard to see but since now my OBDii port is occupied idk how I will be able to get the readings.

궁금한게 타이어 온도는 매 랩 느껴지는 그립감으로 어림잡아 아시는건지, 따로 온도계같은게 있는지 궁급합니다.
감사합니다. 타이어 공기압 얘기하시는거면 아엔에 지금까지 3종류의 타이어를 사용해봤는데 보통 냉간 29~30psi정도로 시작하면 15~20분 세션 타는동안 더운날에 앞쪽은 최대 39~40psi까지 올라가더라구요. 보통 36~37psi때가 가장 그립이 좋은 느낌이 나긴 하는데 냉간을 25까지 낮춰서 시작하면 초반에 타이어에 데미지가 나거나 웜업시간이 더 걸리기 때문에 그냥 보통 30정도에 맞춰놓고 타고 있어요.
IS-f는 e92 m3 정도 성능입니다. 제네시스세단 프라다5.0도 그정도 수준이고..

Appreciate the vids as always. Hope you don’t mind I shared it to the EN subreddit. I am trying to line up my first track day. Should I sign up for hooked on driving as a track newbie, or what do you suggest? Also, should I buy a helmet or rent? I do plan on it being a full time hobby, but don’t know what a good helmet choice is other than the minimum rating.
Hey man, no I don't mind at all. I usually share my video there anyway. Haha
HoD is one of the most well-known track events in the states so if there is one coming up near you, I say go for it. The only downside is their registration fee is usually on the high side.
Even if you don't go to a track very often, buying a helmet will be a good investment so you also can use it while go-karting, riding and such. You don't have to get a $1000+ Carbon fiber helmet. My first helmet was a HJC brand one for around $200 and it was very well-constructed and well-ventilated. Anything with SA2015 or 2020 rated should be good.

@@elantran I am now on map 5, just because I reviewed the data log and both fueling and timing support more boost. The octane learning is a pain because it makes the peak boost inconsistent. I am running an E30/93 blend, but I very closely monitor the data. I really want to get a custom tune for both timing adjustments and eliminating the octane learn variable. Thanks for the reply, will try to get my first track day in soon!

How you liking the JB4? Have you seen a increase of oil temps due to higher power/boost pressure?
welp, I enabled the CCs and could see your comments lol. :D
Since I'm running Map1 with just 20 peak psi, the car is basically running like stock with "high-octane learning" completed.
So I didn't see a huge difference in the oil temps. It still showed 253f max and jumping to 264f for a short period of time and drop.
I just switched over to Amsoil Signature 0w-40 oil, so that might have helped, too.

풀브레이킹전에 브레이크가 작동하는지 확인하는거랑 주행중 심한 진동(럼블스트립을 밟거나 등등)으로 인해 혹시라도 패드가 디스크에서 멀어지면 페달을 밟았을때 순간 답력이 없고 페이드현상이 날수도 있기 때문에 두번정도 톡톡 쳐주면 패드가 디스크에 다시 밀착하게끔 만드는 역할을 합니다. 뭐 꼭 할 필요는 없고 그냥 혹시 모를 상황을 위한 습관입니다. 🤣
rev 사용 하시는것보다 힐앤토가 더편하신가요? 저는 처음엔 좀안맞았는데 지금은 rev가 더편해져버렸어요~

I wanna know too. It seemed like his foot was still on gas pedal while he was tapping the brake
I do it for a couple of reasons. It's to check to see if there is pedal pressure but it's also to stop what's called "pad knock-back" because when you are going fast and your car vibrates a lot (especially after hitting the apex/rumble strips), the brake pads can move away from the disk causing brake fade. Tapping the brake pedal a few times brings the pads right onto the disk so you have a firm pedal when start braking.
