"Map 5 with custom settings" Did you do the fine tuning yourself? Is there any chance I could replicate it? I have a 2021 VN DCT JB4 and I've never had a no spin launch like that.
Yep, I did. It would be easy to replicate on the VN. Just lower the boost in 1st gear under advanced settings. Start at 5psi and go up in 1psi increments until the car no longer spins/wheel hops in 1st gear.
@@TenSecondS4 can you alter boost by gear for any map? I've just been running Map 2 or 3 with E30 on my Kona N and learning to control throttle from a dig to minimize wheelspin/hop but there's only so much you can do.
@@Highlander1432 it helps quite a bit. I used boost by gear using the jb4 when I had a mk7 Gti. Without it, I’d blow the tires off until 50mph. With some 255 r888r’s and using boost by gear, I could do a mid-high 4 second 0-60, but i would still need some suspension mods to really be able to put the power down. These elantras have excellent grip off the line, but they are also a more hardcore, track ready car than a mk7 Gti.
@@Highlander1432 Check the video. There wasn’t any wheel spin or wheel hop. I was able to lower the boost in 1st gear enough to just narrowly avoid it, which resulted in the quickest 60’ and 1/4 mile time. Anymore boost in 1st gear and it spins and hops resulting in a slower time.
@@PapiAndrey You hit the nail on the head. The N is more track ready than any VW, including the GTI and R. They can’t withstand the constant abuse the N can take lap after lap. They will have cooling and braking issues after a few laps whereas the N can go session after session making it look easy. That’s part of the reason why I bought the N. I also like how it’s a very civilized daily driver. It doesn’t have a rough ride like you would expect in a car like this.

I can believe with E30, JB4 and transmission tune you can be quick but this is absolutely bullshit. lol ain’t no way an Elantra N running a slower 0-60 and then SS or 5.0 and then catching them on the top end and trapping over 115 in the quarter. These runs are fishy as hell. I don’t care if they are “verified “. Take it to a racetrack and prove it.
@@TenSecondS4 I know I have a 800hp Honda civic lmao 🤣 but none the less hate the way these look very impressed with stock performance let alone this with absolutely nothing done to the car tho a piggy back isnt even a full real tune and tricking the ecu to run e30 fuel these numbers are wild. I fancy the forte gt for a daily hoping the n performance stuff gets stuffed into that car or the 2.5l turbo the k5 gt has. All of these cars are drastically under rated. The forte gt 1.6 makes that 200hp on 87 not 93 and the k5gt makes that 290hp/311tq on 87 as well can only imagine where those cars would be at on a full tune and 93 let alone thinking e30 I was surprised to see the hyundai N performance stuff takes premium considering all the things I said above. I had an e90 ran back end flash and jb4 together. Liked the jb4 for logging monitoring boost control map settings and code viewing/ clearing had a android head unit so I flashed right from that. Logged emailed etc
Is the JB4 tracable if you were to hurt the motor or trans? I don't want to void warranty, but those numbers are awesome! Also, E30 is a mix right? What do you think your numbers would be on just 93 octane?

Mine doesn’t slip at these levels. It doesn’t start to slip until I turn it up more with the custom map 6. How many miles are on your car?

Stock tires. I think I only turned it down in 1st gear. 6 PSI was removed in 1st IIRC

Will need slicks or drag radials. This is about the best it can do with the stock Michelins. FWD isn’t great for drag racing lol.

Yes, after I dialed in all the JB4 settings including the launch. Could go faster but the shit DCT trans starts to slip with more boost.
