I know right. I hate when people record stuff.
Imagine if there was a website that allowed them to upload the things they recorded and share it with others...that would suck! I'd never visit a website like that.

🎸🎸🎼🎼❤️❤️Vince van der Walt ABSOLUTELY!!! I just turned 46 and these gentlemen ALL have such natural artistic talent! I got my first bass guitar 7-18-2020 all bc of Rob De Leo! My fiance got it for me and made a lil speech saying Rob retired and they were hiring me!!!! LOL!! When Scott passed away it felt like a part of my family was gone. Been rocking w them since 1992!!!❤️❤️🎼🎼🎸🎸

Those guys were all great players and all of them moved all over the place and they had one heck of a set list. It made me think differently of Pearl Jam. Now I remember it was 93. Check it out if you get a chance. I bet you won't be disappointed..

When STP came to my hometown (sarnia, ON) in '09, I was aware that they had had inner band woes, and touring smaller venues than previous years. However, Scott was a phenomenal front man, who gave 110% ...the entire concert. It was a hot summer night, they jacked up the PA tenfold for these guys, the outdoor sound was totally electrifying. Fans could listen, or sing along since Scott's vocals were so clear. Outdoor concerts can capture these moments, where the band responds so well to the summer night energy. STP played well beyond expectations. I was totally engulfed and swept away with Crackerman. They rocked, the crowd rocked, a couple of encores, but crowd still wanting more. An incredible experience. They later said they were wanting to re ignite the Canadian fan base early in their tour here. Mission accomplished at that time. A very talented and creative band indeed.

***** I totally disagree on being generic and cliche. You can call it unoriginal because of the dozens of bands playing AIC and Peral Jam like grunge but Core is a master piece. I used to think just like you back in the 90's regarding STP. But really ... as I look back now, their music is timeless and all their discography is an ode to grunge.

Reading the comments, yes, I think this is the best performance on RUclips of them. I come back to this everytime. Probably was on drugs then, but still entertaining. Us fans ask for so much from the bands, unfortunate bands sometimes succumb to drugs thinking they have to.

I saw them on the Family Values Tour in Charlotte Nc in October 2001. I remember seeing Scott riding a scooter around the venue before the show started, he looked pretty happy. But then during the show Scott looked like he was so wasted he couldn't stand up, but he never missed a word - that is talent. I also remember him naked that night, he took off his clothes and was wearing nothing but an American flag - in support of 9/11 (that had just happened), then Dean grabbed the flag and took off with it, leaving Scott standing there trying to cover himself - it was freaking hilarious. I am so glad I got to see them in their prime, but it saddens me that my children will never get to see them live, they will only have videos like this and my CD collection as a reference. I was hoping that 10-20 years from now I could take them to a reunion tour. Kind of makes me glad I took them to the Kings of Leon - Mechanical Bull tour last year.

Absolutely love that this (almost) entire show was finally put up on here. What keeps killing me though is that of all the songs played during this show, the only one you never see/find anywhere is the closer for this show... which is/was Sex Type Thing. Only place you get to see any bit of that track is on the 'Thank You' DVD release. Just don't understand why that's nowhere to be found. It's by far the best performance of that track I've ever heard & I've heard it played live many times!

+DT24K I remember it (Sex Type Thing) being around 6 min 30 sec. I know the 'video' they had for it on the Thank You' release was a visual mash-up of quite a few different performances of the track but the audio you hear is the Rolling Rock 2000 show. Just kills me that its never been posted up anywhere!
