    Not so fast!! Show me 1 claim that Arturo Fuente has declared their Sun Grown chateau cigar actually uses a Habano wrapper. On their w.s, they claim it's solely an Ecuador Leaf. As you may know, there's an entire different tobacco leaf called: The Ecuador Leaf. There's plenty of Ecuadorian leaf wrapped cigars: the Nicaragua by Camacho, Avo Heritage and the Day Trader by H.Upmann...
    Please correct this issue. Thank you

    • @anthonymazzola4470
      @anthonymazzola4470 10 месяцев назад

      What’s “The Ecuadorian Leaf” ? There is no general strain of tobacco called that. Is it a Sumatra seed variety? Is it Connecticut seed variety? Is it a Habano seed variety? If you know what it’s NOT you’ll know what it IS. It’s Habano seed on the Fuente Sungrown. Just because they never publicly said the seed variety doesn’t mean we don’t have insight to what it truly is.

    • @CONSERVATIVESONSUSA
      @CONSERVATIVESONSUSA 10 месяцев назад

      @@anthonymazzola4470 The
      "Ecuadorian" Wrapper leaf is the Havana strain tobacco. Havana leaf is not identical to the Habano stain. As I'm sure you are aware, Habano leaf is also known as "Cuban Seed".
      There's a few well known Ecuadorian wrapped Cigars such as:
      . Casa Cuba by Arturo Fuente
      . Nicaragua By Camacho
      . Day Trader by H.Upmann
      (All these are not Habano Wrapped)
      Again, there are 0% claims Arturo Fuente have released as using a Habano Wrapper for the Chateau Sungrown. Yes it is a blender's secrete and you may have been told by someone as to what the Wrapper's strain and origin actually is but until now, it's merely anecdotal. Putting the Wrapper strain on blast on your video claiming the Chateau Sungrown utilizes an Ecuador Habano leaf, I don't think the Fuentes would be too thrilled. If they would be, then why not just end the debate and claim it on their website?
      Now as far as the My Father 1922 Cigar, it was posted on their website as utilizing a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro Wrapper leaf. Once again, if you were Told by someone that it uses an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro, it's mere anecdotal. I'm not a gambling man but if I were, I'd bet my 1st born that once My Father has their website up and running again, they'd label the Le Bijou 1922 as having a Nicaraguan Habano Wrapper. On many reputable cigar publishers such as Cigar Afficinado, they also recognize the Bijou as the origin being from Nicaragua. But until then, let's just enjoy these Cigars and hold the decade another time

      @@anthonymazzola4470 I'm always on a quest for truth wherever found. If and when I'm wrong, I always admit it and accept it. We're only human and it's how we grow and learn. But, if you pay a brief visit to Arturo Fuente's website, it clearly states the Casa Cuba uses an Ecuadorian HAVANA Wrapper ( not an Ecuadorian Habano). There's no debating at this point.
      Straight from the source.
      IF ( and that's a big IF), if Arturo Fuente's web site made a mistake, then that's a different discussion. Please put your big boy pants on and admit you were wrong. It's not hard to do
      As far as the Sun grown Chateau, if you really have direct personal relationships with The Fuente family, and if they're cool with you revealing the Exact Wrapper leaf to the Sungrown, why wouldn't they just post it on their website instead of having their customers find this knowledge out via Holt's RUclips video?

    • @anthonymazzola4470
      @anthonymazzola4470 10 месяцев назад

      The original strain came from Cuba. Correct. It’s confusing to many people because most of the seed varieties evolved from what some manufacturers describe as “Havana” or “Cuban” seed. That was the precursor to Habano seed today as we know it. “Havana” or “Cuban” seed was the mother seed for many strains used in the industry today.

      Fuente is secretive about their seed variety so just assume we are making it up? We have it on good word what the seed variety is. Also the Le Bijou’s wrapper IS Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro. The MF factory also keeps their info close to the vest. The wrapper was always just described as Habano Oscuro & people mistakenly assumed it was Nicaraguan grown. Hopefully this clears up some of the confusion out there. We go through great lengths to make sure our information is correct.

      Where I’m from it is technically illegal, to call them Habanos. Habano in my opinion means Cuban cigar you cannot „fake“ that just with the seed. In fact they taste totally different, so in the end it is just marketing. Not very honorable to make money with the reputation of an other product.
      Just for Clarification, I’m from Germany. And this is like building a Mustang and call it at the end a Mercedes just because of the same starting material. Those two cars have nothing in Common…

    • @holtscigars

      They are the same seeds just grown in other countries, nothing is being faked or marketed. The same way you can make a Cabernet Sauvignon in California even though the grapes are originally from Italy. It’s not marketing it’s just classification.

      @@holtscigars if the grapes are from Italy and they were grown there than it’s fine but I don’t think a Sauvignon from California have something in common with one out of Italy, so why would you call it like that. A better example would be champagne because this is a protected term, such as habanos. Only the Americans don’t stick to that in terms of habanos because of the embargo.
      And the definition of habano clearly says it means that a cigar is out of Cuba. So seed soil sun water out of Cuba and of course fermented and rolled there. These „habanos“ aren’t even puros 😅
