    Thank you. I am smoking cigars now for 10 years. There is so much to learn and I love to educate myself on the topic and enjoy it and appreciate more. Your content is excellent and your style impeccable, Sir. Please keep it up. If I may add a piece of my own humble experience: when I feel the nicotine buzz, as you call it, (and even after 10 years of smoking it sometimes kicks in) I sometimes have a softdrink or cocktail. The sugar helps a bit.

    Great video. So few people understand the difference between body and strength. Also… strength and body is also relative to an individuals experience and palate preference. For example, I am personally a long time cigar aficionado but I love Dominican and Nicaraguan cigars more than Cubans. Cubans tend to have more nicotine, tar and ammonia than new worlds given new worlds focus more on elegance and refinement than Cubans. Hence, they ferment the tobacco and also age the tobacco for much longer than Cubans and tend to use more seco and viso (Cubans use more ligero and viso and dont ferment or age very long at all) hence more micro fermentation occurs with top level new worlds than Cubans. A Davidoff Royal Release (cured and fermented 2yrs, aged 8yrs). A Davidoff Oro Blanco is aged 12yrs, Don Carlos No. 2 from Fuente is aged 10yrs before rolling. Hence mild to medium bodied and mild to medium strength and far more elegant a smoke than Cubans. Cubans must be aged several years before someone with my palate would ever enjoy them. My Partagas Lusitanias,
    And my Behike 52’s and 54’s are well aged. But my Davidoffs, Fuentes and Opus perform more elegantly (more mild/medium in body and strength) than the best Cubans.

    I started off with Cohiba Esplendidos cigar my brother offered to me.
    it was smooth, amazing, but I cut it wrong, I lit it wrong, I didn't put enough respect to it. BUT it was my first cigar, (prior to it I smoked maybe 1-2 cigs a month, and bit of vaping)
    Cohiba Esplendidos got me into cigars because it was smooth... easy to smoke and gave you that nice mild notes in flavour that didn't overpower my pallet.
    I moved onto all kinds of cigars going from acid, to Gurkha selection, to davidoff wistons to Oliva (which is my current favourite)
    Oliva has cigars that offer a complex flavour and you need to understand how to approach a cigar like that to properly enjoy it as opposed to Cohiba espledidos because Cohiba espledidos does not have that complex flavour that can only be brought out it's good side by approaching it properly.

    • @jasimahmedoficial

      As I mentioned nicotine in a cigar differs in its action from person to person , comparatively Ramon Allones specially selected is much smoother taste when it comes to a full bodied cigar

    Hello Jasim , hello folks of the channel .
    Jasim you're doing a great job , you're having a great start in YT . I have become a big fan. You just have the passion , you're a real cigar aficionado. I just have a question for you , if I don't want to smoke my cigar continuously, do I have the time to leave it to turn off? I am speaking for 10 minutes or so , not hours . Is it fine to take a break for 10 to 15 minutes?
    Thank you

    I beg to differ.
    1- Body strength refers to the volume and intensity of the smoke.
    2- Nicotine is a result of a combination of Fermentation - Fertilizer and Leaves.
    i- Fermentation reduces the Nicotine content. The longer Fermentation the lower Nicotine.
    ii- The Fertilizer additives affect the Nicotine content.
    iii- Ligero leaves, at the top of the plant, have the strongest concentration of Nicotine (after the Bulb and Stem).
    In fact, the most important evaluation and classification of a Cigar is the Flavor and Aroma. Not the Body strength and Nicotine content.

    • @jasimahmedoficial
      @jasimahmedoficial  Год назад

      First of all thanks for taking your time in comment…I will answer one by one
      1. You are right in this and we both are talking the same language here, it’s the density and richness in other words as depicted in the video.
      2. Nicotine is a substance found in tobacco plants naturally not a result of chemical process, it’s quantity , intensity may differ according to ways you process the tobacco and selection of the leaves. Fermentation of tobacco on the other hand is not to eliminate nicotine but to balance the entire flavor , aroma and overall quality of tobacco, fermentation helps the tobacco to reduce all the harmful chemicals and allows the blend to be perfect for smoking depends on the products it would be finishing.
      3. Any additives will effect the overall taste of tobacco , not just the fertilizer
      4. Nicotine is higher in ligero , but it doesn’t mean other leaves has no nicotine , just it’s concentration is higher , hence my statement the stronger bodied cigars has higher nicotine in general but it’s effect is depends on many other aspects.
      5, the most important attributes of cigar is the balance and enjoyment of three elements , Body, Aroma and Flavor, every cigar aficionado smoke a cigar for
      This , some may be for just one attribute but other all three of them

    • @aandk2594
      @aandk2594 Год назад

      I agree but would also add that “nicotine punch” is a little fallacious as the impact to your head and body around nausea, etc is from the ammonia, not nicotine.
