Do you know this car? or its history? previous owners? Please leave a comment below.
The car was sold new from Duhig Ford Essendon Melbourne.
1969 the first registration number was. KJH-770
The registration number changed in 1972 to. AZ-777
and again on 1973 to . LLB-433
The first Windsor GTHO was scheduled to be built in July 1969, it was Diamond White in colour. There were 260 Windsor GTHOs built, with the last scheduled also being a Diamond White version in December 1969
Ford Falcon XW GTHO phase 1 released 1969 and was a real street racer. HO stood for "Handling Option" however most of the modifications added were to the engine. It now developed 300bhp (225KW).
The 351 got a bigger (600cfm vs 450cfm) carburettor, revised camshaft, hydraulic valve lifters, heavy duty alternator, alloy inlet manifold, a three-inch heavy duty tail shaft, heavier front roll bar, beefed-up coils, stiffer shocks and a new rear roll bar.
In its first appearance at the 1969 Bathurst race an XW GTHO came in second, in spite of wrong tyre choice which saw the works cars pitting for unscheduled stops throughout the day.
A day out in a XW GTHO Phase 1 'Diamond white' with Neil Diamonds Beautiful noise song.

What a beautiful noise
Comin' up from the street
Got a beautiful sound
It's got a beautiful beat
It's a beautiful noise
Goin' on everywhere
Like the clickety-clack
Of a train on a track
It's got a rhytm to spare
It's a beautiful noise
And it's a sound that I love
And it fits me as well
As a hand in a glove
Yes it does, yes it does
What a beautiful noise
Comin' up from the park
It's the song of this kids
And it plays until dark
It's the song of the cars
On their furious flights
But there's even romance
In the way that they dance
To the beat of the lights
It's a beautiful noise
And it's a sound that I love
And it's makes me feel good
Like a hand in a glove
Yes it does, yes it does
What a beautiful noise
(Instrumental)
It's a beautiful noise
Made of joy and of strife
Like a symphony played
By the passing parade
It's the music of life
It's a beautiful noise
And it's a sound that I love
And it's makes me feel good
Just like a hand in a glove
Yes it does, yes it does
What a beautiful noise
What a beautiful noise
Comin' into my room
And it's beggin' for me
Just to give it a tune
Yeah and it's beggin' for me
Just to give it a tune - Авто/Мото
Had a diamond white phase I. In 70s & 80s. What a beautiful memory. Well done, thank you.
Do you have any clues on where it might be now?
Have been trying to locate it, but no luck so far. Checked reg app and has Qld Reg no PWY-292 . Same as when I had it. Would like to speak to owner and hopefully see it again.
Paul Bunyan have you made contact with QLD GT club?
So we are on the look out for info about two Dimond White phase 1s PWY-292 (qld-reg) and KJH-770 (vic-reg)
@@jimhammond4263 Qld GT club have no record of it.
great video. something about seeing a lady drive a HO so nicely ..
She’s great at the gear changes
Only one thing to say: WOW ! ! ! ! Blessed are the people who were around to savor these magnificent machines when they were the current model, sitting in Ford dealer's showroom. I was 16 or so when the new XWGT Fords and HK Monaros were released and to see them on the streets in Melbourne was so exciting.
Got goose bumps as she drove off... sounds beautiful...and I'm a Holden man :) great clip...
Cool, thanks for watching Its great that you enjoyed it..
Great video nothing better than a clean white XW GTHO. Beautiful noise indeed
Wow! Nothing better than an XW GT Falcon, BEAST!!!!
What a diamond in the rough, beautiful and can drive. Cars not bad either
what a dream of a car to drive on a sunny sunday.
She drives it well, not the easiest car to drive!
Great video, XW's look special
These cars were new in my final year at school. The kids used to talk about them all the time. My first car back in 1973 was a diamond white XW, a bit rare because it was a 302 with 3 on the tree.
One of my friends owns one exactly the same , colour and all , as this
She is the original owner!
Truely a beautiful car !
Gorgeous car love the thunder from down under. The best GT HO by far.
Ahh Ive always loved the 351 Windsor over the Cleveland, would absolutely love an XW GT - Maybe I'll get one for my retirement present lol. A lot of people don't realise either that the bonnet intake is for the brake master cylinder!
Correct about the bonnet intake, but i not sure how effective it was.
That was georgeous thank you, had spent some great times in exactly one of those.
Glad you enjoyed it
Sweet. 👍 love all the GT''s especially the HO's
Bloody rippa!
The glory days of Ford Australia.

Absolutely amazing
Glad you enjoyed it..
I dont like white, but the white xwgt's look magic in diamond white.
That's so cool
What a great video and a beautiful car.
Thanx Glen
I'm in love😊
Yumm
Great work I absolutely love that thank you Go the FORD'S .
Glad you like it!
A version of this without the music track trying to drown out the sound of the engine would be great.
Yeah, I'd agree wholeheartedly. The music diminishes the experience in this instance.
Beautiful car & perfect song to go with an awesome video clip
You should do more work on making a movie
You certainly have talent
Thank you very much!
@@jimhammond4263 I've got the exact same combo you have
@@garyraka162 that's awesome enjoy it

Had diamond white phase I. In 70s & 80s. What a beautiful memory. Well done!
My choice woud be 69 XW GTHO Falcon 351 Windsor, my first car was a 69 XW, unfortunately mine was only 221ci six
Hi. Very nice looking Ph 1. Sorry I can't help you with any history on your car, but I have a Duhig Ford Phase 1 also. Candy Apple Red Dec '69 build.
I wonder how many phase 1's Duhig ford sold? The rarest GTHO made, you never see them now days.
video would be 100x better without the music
Switch off the goddamn music…
