For all the new operators watching this… never forget, this job is earned, you earned this.. and no one can take it away from you, but you!.. Follow the methods that zerega teaches you.. don’t worry about being on time, tune out the customers and road ragers, take your time! and you’re in for a good long career… best of luck 💪🏼
Training is the fun part so enjoy it....once out on your own THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A BUS OPERATOR WILL BE YOUR CO-WORKERS believe it or not. If they are your leader on a route they may leave late on purpose causing you have to pick up everyone at the first stop, Or they may DRAG THEIR FEET in front of you so when you pass them now they are riding your tail while you pick up customers. Get used to the fact your coworkers will be scumbags on the route. If you can get passed the stress of this......then we can all say WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT
UTILISING SIGNALS LIGHT IS VERY IMPORTANT. WELL EVERYTHING IS IMPORTTANT IN THIS CARRER . EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED .. REMEMBER U ARE IN CONTROL, PUSH AND PULLS ALWAYS, COVER UR BREAKS.. SHE ISN'T READY❗
What make you say that. She seem to be doing fine.
She definitely isn't ready then she kept going to close to the parked cars
@@michelejones8656 if she was that close, then the instructor wouldve called her out
@@Lemon-zw7cb he actually did and a few times. He wasnt mean about it and presented it to the rest of the trainees on the bus as a lesson on-the-go.

He is great he trained me 3 years ago
Its always cool to see the Sups drive. I've been around 10 years i was trained by Gus Gonzalez, one of the best. He wouldn't hesitate to drive.
He is MR Costa the Puerto Rican superintendent from Eastchester depot
FROM FRESH POND DEPOT
She got the nice treatment! He didn't put his coffee on the dash and told her not to spill it lol
She did OK. It can be abit nerve wrecking having a kinda intense training inspector on your tail. I know she was happy when it was over lol
Ugh! I do not miss those 7 day training days smh 2 years in so far with NYC Transit!
@@Datryl86 just made 5 years, was in panic mode during that training 🤣

They are making this WAAAAAY to complicated.

He’s good you should see my instructor telling, you hit the cone the cone you fail, man I brush one cone calm down.

You cant have a no it all attitude during a class.
Good driving hope she passed this time on her exam
On day 7 how long is the qualifying test
15 to 20 mins if I remember correctly, they have you do everything you learned.
Don't listen to him,do what you think is best😁

GO fast over the speed bumps🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How many accidents has this so called instructor have before he became a rat dispatcher/instructor?
There are definitely better instructors than him
But the trainee also has a bad attitude
