Will we survive Poughkeepsie Gulch

Welcome to DCH Studios, a channel where you will find Dan and Cindy traveling around the desert SouthWest in our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on 37" tires, searching for great landscapes to photograph.
In this video we take on Poughkeepsie Gulch and the wall in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. This is an extreme off road trail that is a Jeep Badge of Honor trail. It has been a while since our last off road adventure and this trail was a bit aggressive for our skill level and the amount of time it has been since we tried a trail this hard. We need more practice and this helped.
OnXOff road says: Off-camber trail with deep holes and large rocks that may exceed axle height. Expect erosion, loose rocks, sand, washes, shelves, and deep mud holes. Obstacles and ledges up to 5 feet, and near-vertical grades 8-10 feet tall. Potential for water crossings with strong currents. Caution: Vehicle damage and roll-overs are possible.

New Sub here, Love your adventures! My wife and I have been wanting to do some off-road adventures in the Colorado area and will at some point. Most of our off-roading/ Rock crawling and atv riding is Southern Idaho and Utah. Retirement in just a few years for us and we will be trying more areas. Thanks for the great videos! 😎😎

@@dchstudios8053 You're welcome. And I think that is an awesome idea. We plan to put together an Overland type Toyota Tacoma and head that direction sometime. Maybe ya'll could come to Idaho and try out some awesome trails Idaho has to offer?.
