I checked 'Brother' by Humanist, its is not only the song that is striking but the video as well. By the way, lately I've been listening to one of my all time favorite post punk albums, 'Grab That Gun' by the Canadian all female band, The Organ. (favorite track - Steven Smith)...

Happy to hear you checked out the Humanist song. If you get the chance, listen to "Shock Collar" from the first album. So good. Thanks for watching!

I’ve been listening to Humanist all night, really loving each song. Great to see it featured here in your video.

Thank you for the humanist recommendation!!! Never heard of…it’s like a visit from old friends!! There’s familiarity but obviously something new and different and inviting and dark!! It’s a good ride! And of course bad brains is always such a great punch in the throat! Dr knows guitars is just insane!!
    Great choices this week!!
You ever listen to jazz great cannonball adderley?

Hey James! Happy to hear you're enjoying Humanist! I do listen to Cannonball Adderley - actually gave Somethin' Else a spin a couple weeks ago.

Hey Bret. Never heard of Edera before today. Getting that album and pink turns blue for the road trip to Montreal this weekend.
Revisiting Pumpkins discography through this week among some other 90’s alternative gems. Also check out (if you haven’t already) men/trust. They are a dream pop outfit from Montreal. Their 2 albums which I really love are Oncle Jazz and Untourable Album. I think you’ll dig them. Enjoy!

Hey Yas, I think you're going to really dig both Edera and Pink Turns Blue. Have a great trip to Montreal!

@@BretHelmsLifeOnThisPlanetBlogthanks ! Listened to Edera this morning on my way to work. What a gem. Can’t believe it’s flown under my radar given it’s the type of music which is right up my alley.

Great video as always but you’ve got some problems with your mic.
