I like to headcanon that when zelda and king dorephan had their meeting, both of them basically tell link "go play with mipha" and link just rush towards where mipha.
In botw when I went to fight calamity ganon, I started to explore the castle and found Zelda's research book and started reading it, and one page it sound like she was throwing shade at mipha, so I decided to leave and save her another time 😒
The second I saw sidon come from the future to save Mipha, along with a reaction of a shocked scream, I knew then and there we were able to save the champions in this timeline

Well,thats a timeline that exist and was licenced by nintendo,it is parralel to the "main" timeline so in a way its kinda canon.You gotta remember that ocarina of time had 3 spliting timeline so there is for sure one in there where mipha is alive.

makes me wonder how all of them might have faired against the ganon beneath the kingdom in this one. obviously the story is already vastly different in AOC it begs a lot of questions of if there even any implications about it. nevertheless in my head canon mipha and link definitely happen in this timeline.
I'm imagining a group of very capable young warriors - reincarnated Link and Zelda included - led by very VERY tall Sidon and Mipha, ready to protect the younglings in battle with their lives and also beat the crap out of reawakened Ganon-jerky.

Here's how I think Tears of The Kingdom would play out in the Calamity timeline (spoilers ahead) The game starts the same way, except this time Terriko would join Link and Zelda as they enter the depths. Upon Gannondorf awakening Terriko would be thrown into the depths, and would break due to the fall and the debris. After the upheaval who would take the most notice? King Roahm. Seeing that he is still alive at this point (assuming he didn't suffer a heart attack or anything) he would quickly organise a rescue mission for Link and Zelda, although over all this time they would run into gloom and rubble so it would probably be more of a background issue. Seeing as Zelda's rescue would take a while, King Roahm would focus on checking the wellbeing of the rest of Hyrule and reassembling the Champions. Each faction would be inherently distrustful of the King seeing as totally normal Zelda did some bad stuff to them but after proving his loyalty by dealing with their issues (or maybe he sends Robbie or Impa to sort things out, something along those lines) he gains allies and everyone's sights are set on saving Zelda and Link (Mipha and Urbosa especially considering they are quite attached to Link and Zelda respectively). The main difference in this scenario would be the Yiga clan as they were shown to be quite good at navigating the depths of Hyrule, and considering they worked with Hyrule to defeat Calamity Gannon, they would likely help out with the current issues at hand (they might need some convincing however). Eventually the Yiga Clan would come across the remains of Terriko and would assume Zelda and Link were either dead or were being held captive. Purah and Robbie would attempt to revive Terriko in order to see what happened to Link and Zelda by hijacking his memories. Upon being revived however, Terriko would likely bring Zelda back from the past (if he can bring characters from post apocalypse Hyrule he doesn't know about then he should be able to nab Zelda too.) Zelda would recount what happened and everyone would realise how much of a threat Gannondorf is and they would need to put a stop to him as soon as possible. During this time Link may or may not have woken up yet, but if he was going to show up in this version of the story, I feel like this would be the best time. With Hyrule once again United, the whole crew would set off into the depths to confront Gannondorf. When they eventually reach Gannondorf he would make a comment on how similar the situation he faces was to the fight that ended with him being imprisoned and that it would be no different here, and then a fight takes place. Eventually Gannondorf would pull a secret stone transformation and turn into the demon dragon who would then wreak havoc through the skies. In order to combat Gannon in the skies, they would use Vah Medoh to attack Gannon and blast him into next game. So yeah, thats about as different as I think it would get...

Imagine they do a sequel to age of calamity but it’s gives focus more on link & Mipha’s relationship. They can At least give us that since Zelda is with link in botw & totK. 😊

I would like to humbly point out that King Dorephan's one condition to Mipha piloting the divine beast vah Ruta is she returns safely 😢 I'm so sad now thinking if this is actually canon alongside thinking of link and hyrule likely, when Mipha knew Help wouldnt arrive anytime soon was likely her promise to her father and I can't that's so sad to think about

that part is canon, in BOTW the king does mention he only let her pilot the beast if she returned safely
