    I've had these bushings for over a month. It surprised the hell out of me on how something so cheap enhanced my driving experience. My Forte takes off harder off the line and pulls harder in between shifts. I have a 6 speed manual.

      That’s exciting man! I got super lucky and after calling to try and test drive one for 1.5 years, I got a notice from work that I would be losing my work vehicle, so I decided to call the local Hyundai dealership and sure enough they had the DCT brand new 2023 sitting on their lot. The one for the trans mount insert? I’m pretty sure those were really easy.

    • @ENtense
      @ENtense  Год назад +1

      Wait hang on, I looked back at the footage and I did use air tools to remove them. So they are likely on there pretty tight. Battery powered might not be enough power.

      Thanks. I RUclips and they say to use heat gun or torch to budge the screw because I assumed there were loctite on it, so I just warmed up my engine to a hot enough temperature and voila it worked. I got all three installed now. I love it. More responsive, planted and jerky, although there is a little vibration like you mentioned. It don't bother me though. Going to do some test runs lol. Thank you so much for your videos. It helped me a lot. No more wheel hop 😊

    Hey man just curious, I know you care about keeping your warranty. I don't know much about mechanic, but do you think dealerships could find any reason to deny a claim on the transmission if you change the transmission mount?

    • @ENtense
      @ENtense  2 года назад +2

      I’d be quite shocked if they gave anyone issues over some bushings. Worst case they cause a little more vibrations. But I guess you never know nowadays.

    • @VanillaWahlberg
      @VanillaWahlberg 2 года назад +1

      It really depends on the dealer, but, my local Hyundai dealer warranty replaced my transmission at 38k (2nd owner, low fluid probably from factory) with shifter cable bushings and upgraded mounts all around.

      @@VanillaWahlberg honestly the more concerning thing to me is the transmission failing at 38k

    • @VanillaWahlberg

      @@Courtesyflush52 it's not common. I'm in a group that the issues stem from the DCT. I definitely am cautious now though. It wasn't failed, it still drove fine they just heard the noise and replaced it before it failed.

      Replacement bushings can definitely help for performance in a lot of cars, just depends on what your cars weak points are. The EN being FWD with quite a bit of power needs help in the front end to alleviate wheel hop.
