I've had these bushings for over a month. It surprised the hell out of me on how something so cheap enhanced my driving experience. My Forte takes off harder off the line and pulls harder in between shifts. I have a 6 speed manual.

I got super lucky and after calling to try and test drive one for 1.5 years, I got a notice from work that I would be losing my work vehicle, so I decided to call the local Hyundai dealership and sure enough they had the DCT brand new 2023 sitting on their lot. Got it for MSRP and love the thing. Serendipity at its finest 🏎️

Taking off almost a half second is amazing! My '17 ES 100% without a doubt launches much better with upgraded VN mounts and the SuperPro RMM bushing. It also isn't so sloppy when you go on and off throttle in the 6MT. I love it. You can quite literally hear the difference on hard launches in the EN though, haha. No more engine smacking around.

I love my powerflex front engine bushing. Paired with my SXTH rear engine mount I get no wheel hop at all, even in cold weather. Try launching at 3500rpm next time and you may get even better times! You got a lot of grip so you may push it harder from a dig.
I reallllly wanted to up the rpm lol. But for the sake of proper testing and comparison I kept it at 3200. We’ll definitely improve more with changing things up in the future 💪🏻
When you’re in the N screen, click on lap timer. Then on the top change it to acceleration. When the requirements are met, the ready button will highlight and allow for you to press it, and you’re good to go 👍🏻

Can confirm they all got the Elantra N-line. Also, id suggest getting the black (race) transmission bushing. It added no vibrations and it made a noticable difference and I love it?
Fitted up the same setup to my Manual Elantra N and no more wheel hop but now it’s wild wheel spin! I also fitted up the black race spec upper engine mount for comparison to yellow and a little more NVH. I think tolerable but the yellow upper is basically no extra NVH. I didn’t see any more benefit with black as wheelhop was gone with the purple/yellow upper combo
Agreed one of the first things to do to any on the 2.0 N cars. I just did the motor mounts from power flex. Under power and even just normal daily driving the car feels so much better. Wheel hop on the Kona N was terrible. It’s non existent now. The dct even feels smoother in everyday use.

I have their RMM bushings on already. I just ordered some Rally Armor mud flaps so I better wait a bit on these. I have been thinking about the top motor mount bushing and the side trans bushing. Thanks for the video as I was on the fence regarding the improvement from these.
Affordable and easy to install. It’s the little things like this that make a difference in my opinion. Definitely recommend when you decide to do so 👌🏻

Ok got the car. It's very fun. Handles great. I was doing a lil bit of spirited driving then pulled up driveway slowly & parked it. Fan ran for about 45 seconds. This normal? Never seen this before.
Yes it's normal, on my VN the fan will continue to run if oil temp is a above 200F when I turrn car off. Also if you listen carefully the oil pump for the turbo will run after car is turned off.
What if i put the upper mount and drove it a bit before putting the lower mount? Would that put stress on anything? Kinda wanna know how each one feels instead of putting everything together at once
Hey broseff, the upper engine bushing came with a washer, you didn't use it? I'm not even sure where it should be because it doesn't even fit with the black inner piece
So I received all the powerflex bushings that you've installed on your EN and man, I couldn't get the wheel well screw loose at all. I used a battery powered impact gun. Any ideas or can I only use an air tool to remove it? I didn't care to put on the others since I couldn't get this one on. Give me your ideas. Ill try again on my days off. It's greatly appreciated. Just wanted to give you an update. My bumper that I’ve been waiting for Five weeks now, has still not arrived, but I’m being told by the dealership it will be arriving “soon.” During this time, they still have not given me a loaner car, and getting around these last few weeks have been very challenging.
Dang man, sorry to hear. I know of someone else who had an issue getting their bumper replaced too. Took them 3 or 4 times to ship one without damaging it.
I really want to get the manual N, but some of the video you dropped kinda discouraged me from getting one, like the engine blowing up on the highway. Thank goodness no one cares about exhaust sounds where I live. You have good content, though. I'm not tryna tell you otherwise at the beginning lol

Hey quick question Does your elantra N make grinding noises when the car is cold i let my car warm up to more than a quater every time my elantra N after not using it for 1 night it makes heavy grinding noises but once you get on the highway its gone ? Please help and even after the highway its gone no more grinding no one has made a video about this but ive always had this with my elantra And its getting slightly louder and more consistent through 1 2 3 gears great video thanks for everything !
Hm, not sure if I can say that I’ve heard of that issue personally. I’d recommend taking it to your local dealer if the problem persists, doesn’t sound normal to me.
Do you use the stock oil filter? If you take it to a shop, they make use a cheap one without an anti-drainback valve or it could be low on trans fluid.
I have the torque mount bushings from Whiteline, I'm curious if these upper mount bushings can fit a regular G4FJ with the 7DCT, I have a '17 Tucson with some light mods.

Wait hang on, I looked back at the footage and I did use air tools to remove them. So they are likely on there pretty tight. Battery powered might not be enough power.
Thanks. I RUclips and they say to use heat gun or torch to budge the screw because I assumed there were loctite on it, so I just warmed up my engine to a hot enough temperature and voila it worked. I got all three installed now. I love it. More responsive, planted and jerky, although there is a little vibration like you mentioned. It don't bother me though. Going to do some test runs lol. Thank you so much for your videos. It helped me a lot. No more wheel hop 😊
Hey man just curious, I know you care about keeping your warranty. I don't know much about mechanic, but do you think dealerships could find any reason to deny a claim on the transmission if you change the transmission mount?
I’d be quite shocked if they gave anyone issues over some bushings. Worst case they cause a little more vibrations. But I guess you never know nowadays.
It really depends on the dealer, but, my local Hyundai dealer warranty replaced my transmission at 38k (2nd owner, low fluid probably from factory) with shifter cable bushings and upgraded mounts all around.
@@Courtesyflush52 it's not common. I'm in a group that the issues stem from the DCT. I definitely am cautious now though. It wasn't failed, it still drove fine they just heard the noise and replaced it before it failed.
Replacement bushings can definitely help for performance in a lot of cars, just depends on what your cars weak points are. The EN being FWD with quite a bit of power needs help in the front end to alleviate wheel hop.
I’m not sure, but their website lists those specific products for the EN/VN. But I wouldn’t be shocked seeing more products come for the KN eventually.

Almost every single high torque FWD car just needs rear lower motor mount stiffening (plus the other mounts to make it completely stable).

You’ll get the best launch at 2800 rpm launch control. 4.8-5.0 0-60 is what I get all day.

He was getting 5.1 without octane learning. Turbo was basically capped at 15 psi boost

I aligned mine at install but the rubber bushing looks a bit crooked

These aren’t listed for the N-line. But if they don’t have it listed on their site, send them an email and they might have it in the works 👍🏻

Random question. Is a 2 ton scissor jack strong enough to change a flat tire on Elantra N or do I need a 3 ton scissor jack?
2 ton should work just fine 👌🏻
2 ton is rated for around 4,000 lbs and cars like these are close to 3,100 overall

Msrp is around 35k in the states
At over 42k I think I would pay 8k more to get the new CTR

These things are ugly as sin but can't knock the value or performance. Really wish a performance version of the forte would come out or they'd bring the i30n here
