You should make a follow up video of what rod and reel setups you would throw the different lures on. Great vid as usual 🤙🏼🎣👊🏼
Great idea! I’ll definitely do that!
Excellent selection of lures. All these work great offshore and around nearshore rigs as well. Love me a gotcha!
For sure man! Gotcha is always a go to!
Always informative. Tackle Tuesday great idea. Maybe have some guests from the Clickbaiters or other you tubers.
That’s a good idea!
There’s a lot more to fishing than I ever thought
That’s just the beginning! Haha
Thanks for the useful tips. I will be down next week and looking forward to trying my luck. I'll be happy just to catch any fish.
Awesome man! Tight lines 🤙
I’ve used the bubble rigs for years since I started beach fishing. But I only use the McDonalds straw. It’s the only one I have been able to use with success. Good info and thanks for the videos.
I think just about anything will work sometimes!
Thanks for the pier fishing video. Lots of great info. Any plans to showcase rod & reel combos/types? Such as which would you prefer to use when targeting various species and fishing method (beach, pier, jetty, etc?.
Yes sir, I’ll have one out soon!
I'm venturing more into the pier fishing for big fish and want to know (from someone with experience) what works for bigger fish vs what is popularly spread on social.
I'm thinking 8-9' med heavy to heavy rod for kings, bonito, cobia, etc. I have a Battle 3 6000 high speed reel that I think should suffice. I just want a good rod to muscle these fish that doesn't cost me a mortgage payment.
I use that same reel for kings, jacks and tarpon. I’ve been using an 8’ Star Ariel Medium Heavy and it’s been working for me
Always enjoy the videos. Can't wait to see the off shore video.
Coming soon!
Awesome video. This will be helpful when I go to the surf or piers . Thank you. Be Safe Brother.
Yes sir! Thank you!
Nice explanation. Perfect vid length for this content. Catch and cook on your own next time. Keep grinding bro you are gonna make it
Thanks bro! I really appreciate the support!
Man since we moved to Navarre 9 months ago I’ve been looking for a video this down and dirty. Thanks dude
Sweet! I hope it helped!
Great video very informative. Thanks for the content.
Awesome, hope it helps out!
I have all of those except the Hogy. Looks like I'm set. Oh an I need some heavier leader material apparently 😅
Hey, if it’s working, don’t change it! I just use heavier leader to make sure I don’t get cut off from Spanish and blues. You can definitely get away with lighter line just need good hook placements and keep an eye on that leader throughout the day
Lovein the tackle Tuesday series👍👍🎣🎣. Great content very informative!!!
Guess I gotta try the pier next time I get down there!!!
Awesome man! Definitely give it a shot!
Perfect timing. I'm in Gulf shores for a week an trying the pier tmrw. Thank you so much 👍👍
If you see us out there, stop and say hey!
Awesome video... thanks for all the great info !
I appreciate it!
Thanks for the Tackle Tuesday video…. What knot do you tie your leader to main line? Is it the same for all size of leaders?
I usually use a uni to uni. I’ll have a more in depth video soon and we’ll as some other options
Very informative! Another great vid Rad Brad!
Thanks dude! I liked the restaurant video today!
You need to make a Bearded Brad Pier box! I would definitely buy one!
I so glad you suggested Ande leader line for toothy fish, Seaguar is so expensive, but I do use Seaguar on light tackle and this year started using Vanish.
Ya, some of those are expensive! I’ve never had issues with Ande
Another cool video!! Thank you sir.
Thanks dude!
Number 14-16 Sabiki rig you get cut off by fish w/sharp teeth but they catch loads of fish I buy them directly from China for around 90 cents per rig
Definitely good to catch live bait!
I enjoyed it thanks its a big help
Thank you! Glad it helps out!
Great video Brad! I’m headed to South Florida in a week and I have a variety of all of those! Hopefully they will bring me some luck!
Awesome man! Tight lines! Let me know how you do!!
Brad, Ninja Tackle has their 11’ spinning rod back in stock. I jumped on one tonight. Not sure if you wanted one. They were out of stock for 8 months. ✌️
That’s good to hear. Thanks!
Great vid! First time I went out to the pier I saw schools of spanish but couldn't catch any using my freshwater spinner bait lol. Now I know, Thanks Brad. Semper FI
Great vid! Maybe do a best color for sabiki rig.... :)
😂
Good video, I think the clickbaiterz should do a kids rig competition
Like one of those Spider-Man poles?
@@BeardedBrad92 yeah or barbie poles would be funnier. And maybe put like a $20 limit on everything you can use lures and all
Thank you for sharing🎣
Yes sir!🤙
Great video! Thanks for the info!
Thanks man! I appreciate that
Really great fishing tips for people to learn
Yes sir!🤙
another great video, Brad, thank you for teaching me
Thanks man! I’m glad it helps!
Can't tell you how awesome these videos are!! Not going to say some of your buddies have gotten away from these types of segments, but we don't just watch to see yall catch fish..we wanna know how you rig em and what lures to bring down with us. Keep this up and 10k will be long in the past when your looking to hit that 20k sub #!!
Great info!
Thanks! Hope it helps ya out!
Nice video. I wish more fishing channels would go over tackle. And your friend laughing in the background was funny!
I’ll be doing a lot more of it!
Great video 👍
I appreciate it!
Good info. Thanks. 👍👍
🤙 thank you! Tight lines!
For some reason your videos don't pop on the notifications any longer, I have to come and search for them to find them. I don't have anything shutoff even went as far as to make Priority in the settings.
Good video, again.
Garage have a window ? Stick a window ac in it, run it to cool it off a tad, shut it off do the videos.
I wish, but unfortunately it doesn’t. As far as my videos showing up, all I know is make sure you’re subscribed, turn on all notifications
@@BeardedBrad92 - yep / yep / and I have it set for you and the click team as "Priority" over anything else. YT and the stinking algorithm grrrrr .
Well dang. Idk then
@@BeardedBrad92
Oh it is not you and I bet you don't have a single thing that can be done to change it. The (YT) (PC) Police will file a complaint about channels they think are upsetting. It's not just you, it's everyone on Click team started dropping from my "Notification Priority" list. I have to physically come and find all of ya now. Just wanted you to know - so when you look at your watch and follow stats the drop will make sense.
go fish enjoy the heat
Today was a rough one!
Awesome video! Do you prefer to tie your leader straight to your braid on these set-ups or use a barrel swivel?
I always go straight from braid to leader. I’ll have a video out soon to cover that!
Good info!
Thanks!
Awesome video and great information BB! Thank you for these tackle Tuesday videos! If you are ever in St Augustine Florida please let me know ahead of time.. I'd love to show you some of our local spots from the pier and Beach.
I definitely will man! Thanks!
Any idea when fishgum will have more bait for sale, and keep Tackle Tuesday coming love the videos thank you
I’m not sure to be honest. Hopefully soon! I have an online store on my website and will carry Fishgum as soon as he can produce more!
@@BeardedBrad92 yes I know I checked it out today, can’t wait to order some stuff from you and thanks again for all the great videos, I’m heading down to Florida in September for the first time and plan on fishing like crazy
Awesome man! Good luck when you get down there! Hope you have a great trip
What size/ weight xrap is best for off the pier especially for kings
Do you use a barrel swivel when you are throwing the diamond jig or the spoon?
I always use a line to line connection. Usually a uni to uni knot. When throwing for fish like Spanish and bluefish, that barrel swivel can attract them and you get cut off
Great video. Too bad half the pier gone very informative video. Never saw anyone throwing that big swim bait there.
Great stuff man, but do you really want to give Brant and Beach Bum all you secrets. Keep me coming
😂
Does your editing program have noise canceling? You could run a fan and possible cancel the noise with your program?
I’m sure it does, but I’d have to do some research on how to do that.
Is the grass affecting pier fishing? I cant surf fish at all here its so thick
Just have to get past the bar!
A fan suppressor, they exist...right?
Haha if so, I need one for that garage!
What size yo-zuri would you use for Spanish?
Where do you get the crystal minnow
All the local tackle stores here in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have them!
can i freeze fish gum and if so how long will it last
You can freeze it and it will extend the life of it, but idk exactly how long
Would most of those lures work from the beach also?
Yes they work from the beach also
What's the best king lure?
Maybe a dumb question, does the bubble rig work off the beach or jetty?
Yes, it works at all the above!
******************** Lots of videos on lures and tackle, but hardly if any at all that tells newbies how to fish these lures, just something to think about it****************************
