For My Trade Deadline Predictions 1.0 video, it's early so I am mixing in an element of what I think should happen: I think the Mets should trade assets away & not buy anything...even a little bit. I hate to say it, but I think the Jays should trade Bo Bichette - they're not going anywhere this year, they've gone nowhere with him & Vladdy so the best thing to do is deal him, extend Vladdy and take the haul from a Bo trade. Only thing I'd change from recording & editing (last week): I'd move Jack Flaherty up in the ranking that accompanies the predictions. COMMENT WITH YOUR PREDICTIONS BELOW

I don't see the Dodgers targeting Bichette when Miggy Rojas is outplaying him this year. The Dodgers biggest need is obviously at CF. They could also use a lefty in their rotation. This brings me back to the White Sox. If the Dodgers are going to press and give up top prospects, they should push for Crochet and Robert Jr.

The Mets are not trading Alonso, JD Martinez or Severino by the trade deadline. They have as much chance at a wildcard, as the others. They should be looking for relievers, and trade some other pieces.

Mets have been as hot as the Yanks have been cold, I agree NL is full of middling teams, think Phillies, Braves, Dodgers, Padres, and even the Brewers are realistically all better though. I do think Mets will buy cause they got money and are a little reckless. I got a gut feeling Trout may be on the Braves the second half of the season. Reason I say is May 31st AA was on 680 The Fan and the host ask on a scale of 1-10 if he whispered the name how excited would they get. He never thought about even answering that. So to me it would be a 10 and who has been tied to the Braves besides Trout that would cause a 10 reaction. He said his 11 year old son really likes the player and is asking him non stop if the other team had got back yet. He also said for 2 years no one knew he worked on getting Sale as an example how slow a trade can go. Look how long every mention of trade and Trout in the same sentence you are probably gonna hear the Braves. He also said something to the effect how the process works and the team will get back and say we like these 4-5 players. That is what it would take and I think Trout would wave his no trade for the Braves. Just my opinion with Trout hurt AA sees his opportunity with a club he has good relationship with.

Just means the White Sox would get lower offers, but if he is healthy, I do not doubt the talent. There is not a prospect in the Phillies organization that is untouchable right now. Painter won't even pitch until next season, and who knows what you're getting after TJ surgery. I think his timeline is 2026 to expect even what he was before that injury. Able has been bad this season, but still has some value. Crawford is 2-3 years away. Miller is 2 years away and there is a logjam for any starting infield spot, so his value is higher to them as a trade piece at this point. And these are all prospects. Most likely none or only 1 will be successful. If you had to move all 4 to get Robert, yeah it's a huge risk, but I don't believe it takes that much. Likely Miller and Crawford, and a 3rd mid-tier prospect gets it done, which I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I think this is a solid trade and both teams win. Rojas could really bloom and focus on getting better in Chicago while Crawford stays in their farm for another year. Mick Abel could potentially be an ace and Eduardo Tait is a very good young catcher that can come up in future.

First off the Phillies will not get anything for a Johan Rojas trade he brings no trade value. No team will want him. If the Phillies do try to trade him they probably won’t get anything for johan Rojas in return. The Phillies will most likely trade for someone like Kyle Tucker who they really need desperately now more than ever. Oh the Phillies should not extend Rangers contract yet. Alonso doesn't make any sense for the M's, this feels like cope more than an actual prediction. He's only running a 131 wRC+ this season and will cost a ton. Seattle could go get IKF, Canha, and DeJong to raise the teams floor to basically what adding Alonso's ceiling would be for significantly less. I think the ultimate Dipoto move will be for Vlady Jr and another super utility guy like Varsho or IKF (maybe a pitcher) from Toronto. Seattle and the BJs line up way too well for a trade not to happen between them at or before the deadline. @@blairmcbride5437 there's always a premium trading with a NY ball club. I can be convinced it's a good move if they get Pete for cheap and do a few other moves that bring in more impact. Like if all it costs is Emerson Hancock and a lottery ticket to get Alonso then I can live with it. I just think the M's can find more impact elsewhere and for better overall value than Pete Alonso.

You faked me out with those jersey number transitions. I thought that’s the player you were going to say.

At this point, F it, why not break up the mets that are finally playing .500. It's not like they have a dying fan base that has waited 40 years for a WS or anything. If Sterns makes all these moves, I'll throw out my city connect hat and only watch games in the Bronx from now on.

I really think your stance on the Orioles is wrong. Crochet is just too risky with arm health problems in the past and innings pitched being an issue presently.
Please consider the David Rubenstein effect when it comes to this deadline.
I think the O’s will get an impact starting pitcher (preferably with postseason experience) and two high leverage impact arms for the bullpen. ( preferably a RH and LH with postseason experience and strike you out capabilities.
There’s now rumors about Bautista being ahead of schedule and could possibly be able to pitch in October. Not sure if this is true, but if it is could be a major story.

    Phillies lineup with Robert Jr.
    1.Schwarber DH L
    2.Turner SS R
    3.Harper 1B L
    4.Robert Jr CF R
    5.Bohm 3B R
    6.Marsh LF L
    7.Realmuto C R
    8.Stott 2B L
    9.Castellanos RF R
Would be the best batting order in the MLB to go along with best pitching staff. The first 4 batters in this lineup would have the opposing pitchers having nightmares. 😂😂😂
