    Self tapping screws also work really well for holding ong pvc pipes together in a fixed position, easily strong enough for this sort of situation. Just one screw through each connector and the pipe and it'll hold solid, and its easy enough to take apart for storage or reusing pipes

    That’s just perfect! I don’t know if your house is close to your street’s sewer, but a balloon there could be fun, too! For quick immobile hands, Stiltbeast’s spray foam into a dish glove technique works great. We made an array of zombie hands for our graveyard this year.

  • @bearvassar6690
    @bearvassar6690 Год назад +1

    You could make shoulder elbow and knee joints by buying or picking up dead fans on side of road or goodwill and removing the tilting joint and applying to your animatronic if nothing else you could remove the covers and fan blade and just using the actual fan motor still attached pole and now you have a animatronic head that moves back and forth. Just a thought.

    Great build guys. You knocked it out of the park. While I was shopping for moulding silicone recently I saw these couples plaster hand making kits that were really cheap. They have the silicone moulding materials, a container to do it in and plaster. You may not want to use the plaster but these kits were cheaper than buying silicone alone. Might help for future builds.

    I have taken those yellow dish gloves and flip them inside out and usually they are white on the inside. I also use screws on my PVC so they don't move and I can also unscrew them when I go to pack my props away.
    Another thing I do for hands is I take those plastic food gloves and I wrap my hands in packing tape, then cut my hand out, tape it back up, and fill it with plastic shopping bags. (It's like a version of the covering your torso in cling wrap and packing tape to make a ghost).
