What do you do when there's a guy in your shot but he's a giant? On my quest for some spectacular autumn landscape photography, I'm forced to share and I don't like it.
I almost lose my cool when Amanda attempts to smudge the negative energy in the camper but her new mustache is HOT! The Fuji GFX100s is producing some stunning images but will that medium format force me to focus stack EVERY single shot?
We do, however, snag the best waterfront campsite in the Wild West of Canada but I'm concerned that dessert might be a 'Flake Dog' :(
I may have a massive camera but Amanda still mistakes my manhood for a tube of pasta before we embark on a sunrise shoot. My new friend Ferdinand has a pretty sweet camera rig but WHY does he have it on a $50 tripod?
Will my telephoto shot work out and what's that mysterious orange growth? Is the landscape photography community ready for my new concept of 'Wilderfashion'? There's only one way to find out.

Really enjoyed the last two videos. I missed the "I have a face like..." It's like "Top Gear" without "Some say...all we know is he's the Stig." How about: "I've had 3 hours sleep and I have a face like a RUclips troll."

Wow! Less than 4 minutes in and he answered one of my questions. In my mind I was wondering why he just didn’t crop out the sky and mountain reflection with maybe a 16x9 crop and then he answered my question. Here’s a plug for his Photoshop For Morons course. I bought it several months ago and have gone through it completely. It’s wonderful for landscape photography. I learned so many little tricks and have already starting using them. He’s a great teacher in this course and his vlogs- filled with plenty of humor.

Hahaha Gavin. I can confirm 19 weeks to Melbourne Australia. The book does a world tour and arrives full of wisdom. You don’t over sell the book one bit, I’ve barely slept since.

being a landscape photographer for the better part of 20 years, I really do love your channel. You have wonderful comedic timing and its just a blast to watch. Always look forward to a new video. This one especially cracked me up and I love your explanations of the shots you want to achieve and almost always get. If you ever find yourself out in the Lake Tahoe/Eastern Sierra region of the US, i would love to join you on a photo hunt.

As for the shot that you could only achieve down low, I guess you become a bit jaded of all the other salad bar of beauty around you but, I know I would have thought I'd won the photo lotto at that location!
