- Another awesome trip from Manly to Mooloolaba and return. The trip is just over 50 miles each way, so a solid day sail. Conditions started with strong and gusty westerly’s (off shore) which abated by evening.
Due to the strong offshore winds I stayed inshore and for the first time exited Moreton Bay through a channel along the southern tip of Bribie Island.
Once again, Little Wing performed exceptionally well. She is just and amazing boat.
I hope you enjoy the movie.
Fabulous sail, thank you. I could almost feel the spray. (From chilly, grey North Yorkshire, UK) ⛵⛵
Back in 1974 I wanted a Westsail 32 in the worst way. Nice boat.
Great to see her just plowing through the swells. Lesser boats bounce off of wind waves like that.
That was great! What a beautiful craft you have. I bet your 32 could have done that under a full main too ..
Great episode sailing ⛵️ I was encouraged, fantastic trip sailing. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from beautiful Hawaii islands ⛵️ 🏝
Love the camera angles!
You are living my dream.
I guess this proves Westsails can’t sail to windward. Haha. Beautiful boat, beautiful sailing. Enjoy!
