Sam Bennett gets away with so much... smashing Knies head into the ice comes to mind. Slavin got crushed ...Canes suffered so many injuries that they were as competitive as they should have been.

Penalty in last minute was a disgrace. Florida got away with murder and no calls including at least 2 where the Florida player
tried to injure the other player. The stick between the legs of the goalie on the winning goal was goalie interference. Refs bet on Florida.

@@falsedoor9556 Don't remember any Burns low blow. Florida was allowed to do anything they wanted against the Leafs and the Hurricanes. That is fine but if that is what you are going to do you don't call a penalty in the last minute of an elimination game. The call stunk and then to see a player with his stick between the legs of the goalie on the winning goal,,,,,,,,,,,,,enough. The NHL officiating is a joke.

i don't know what's more disgusting, benn's crosscheck to the neck of a player laying on the ice or his tortured explanation of what he says happened.

The latter. One happened in the heat of the moment, the other one happened a day later with plenty of time to think it through.
