Guyton’s statline: 1 sack, 3 pressures. Garrett is the reigning DPOY who had 14 sacks last year. How many all pro LT’s do you think he beat last year? Expect to see a rapidly improving player.
I would rather give Deuce Vaughn more carries over Rico Dowdle but keep zeke or Rico in there during passing plays

The 2019 & 2020 Zeke played with knee injuries. The bias is measured but it’s still there. What has Dowdle proven to make Browns or any NFL defenses fear him?
BUT...the most pressures they gave away came from the 3 inside OL not their tackles! Not to mention, we have TWO Rookies on our OL in two of the most important position on an OL...Center and LT! So I don't want to hear from the haters or the ignorant hating media! KEEP FERGI FOR THE RAVENS!! I'm thinking the Cowboys should of taken advantage of running the ball more in the second half of the Cleveland game .I think the Cowboys let a big opportunity get away. I think it would of given the team confidence going into the next game knowing they can run the ball on a good defense especially when they have the lead.

To me Guyton did play just as poorly as PFF graded him out. He reverted to a lot of the technique issues that were marked on his college tapes as a possible issue. Now a lot of that had to do with going up against that Cleveland Browns defense, but the coaching staff did a great job of moving the pocket and keeping that issue from affecting the offense too much.
PFF is garbage. They have Miles Garrett as the defensive player of the game. Graded him with 1 sack and 1 hurry on 26 pass rush attempts “though he had 3 more pass rush wins that didn’t result in pressure”. So then they didn’t matter lol. PFF is inherently biased towards Ohio based teams. Why? Because cris collinsworth owns it and he was a bengal. Just sayin
I'm a Huge homer cowboys fan BUT Guyton held on every single pass play. He will get called for that in most games. He needs to work on his punch and keeping his hands inside.
Defensively, the Cowboys are a different football team under Zimmer.

Not all good-great DE’s are twitchy or built like TE’s. Kneeland is a great fit for Zimmer’s defense.

As a Cowboys fan who prides himself on being fair, you can’t tell me Guyton didn’t allow a pressure. Myles Garrett was having his way with him.
So, Myles only wanted one sack?
Tyron smith got his shit pushed in lastnight. Guyton a ROOKIE held his own played like a damn man son, Myles Garret didint have his way with him at all. Your first nfl season game and you handle it like that? Deserves a lot of credit. Still work to do. Impressive to me though.
He allowed one sack and 2 pressures. He did pretty damn well against one of the best 3 DE’s in the league
