The defense just isn't very good. Everyone bought into the Cleveland win against 2 backup tackles...I Didn't! I know the defense is very weak up front. The LB'S, one is old, the others are young and inexperienced.
WHY? Jerry's chose 4 years ago to Overpay Dak, at the expense of the defense, and the rest of the team, and just extended it another 4 more years. Jerry could have let Dak go 4 years ago. Signed another middle of the road QB, who'd of put up the same numbers or possibly better. Then spent the extra money on upgrading the defense.
BUT...
Jerry stuck us with a QB who can't beat good defenses. Plus, we won't have the money to upgrade the defense for 4 more years.
Csnt stop the run and no running back. Also need anothe pass rusher. A good pass rusher.
We need some younger coaches. With new ideas. The old coaches are practicing playing horses against the Harlem Globetrotters

Defense played bad a huge big reason cowboys lost. Now Dak and offense got ball back after every Saints touchdown against a defense missing its best cornerback. Why dak and offense couldn’t match scores and get into a shootout out. When will Dak bail defense out as they have bailed him and offense out on many occasions.
He bailed them out vs Seattle last year? Also we scored on 4/5 drives to start. Without Ferg we don’t have weapons besides CD, if we could run the ball we could have hung in but without a running game and only one legit pass threat you don’t have a chance when the other team scores 6 straight touchdowns. That goes for any QB ever

Defense played bad the bigger issues and question is the 240 million dollar quarterback doesn’t have the confidence or mentality or accuracy and decision making. To match scores or get into a shootout. He is a fraud a front runner that needs to have a lead or a tie game to perform. When will he step up and carry a team when defense is off and has a bad game?
There will be plenty of times to blame Dak, but this is not one. The Saints scored touchdowns on 6 consecutive drives...Defense has to do something.
