Great review. Very informative and outstanding production value. I've been stalking, err, "considering" this dual crown for a while now, but have gone down the Sinn rabbit hole in the meantime. I'm getting this exact watch next, another Sinn can wait. This blue is really special and I like the vintage size. It costs half as much as a Sinn and I want to get one (NGL, both) before the price creeps up, as has occurred with most watxhes incl. the aforementioned Sinns. I've only seen the dual crown available on tropic straps, the mini-link brac is...
A great review. I bought the blue version when it was released, before the flat link bracelet was a thing. The watch provides a modern look for a super compressor "style" watch which also respects the original watches in a lot of ways. I have an original 68 twin crown super compressor and there are a lot of similarities there with the same cross markings on the crowns as well as a non screw down bezel crown. Baltic make very good watches for the price point...... if they made a white dialled or titanium version of the dual crown, I'd happily but a second.
This watch is great. Wear it every day. Great color very legible and thin. Too many advantages to replace it even with a luxury watch. I turned down the bezel crown to a smaller diameter help prevent accidental turning.
I bought a bronze Aquascaphe and it was really nice except it had a wobbly crown and very poor lume. But I will give the brand a second try because their return policy is great. They sent me a prepaid return label for shipment back to France and a full refund. So with customer service like this I will definitely keep Baltic in mind for future purchases.
couldn't disagree more. my blue dual crown gets more wrist time than my sub. the combination of polished and brushed gives it a refined and elegant look. absolutely love this watch.
In my opinion the Dual Crown version of the Aquascaphe looses a bit of the personality which has its predecessor. The shape of the case is not as well proportioned, the internal dial is too small compared to the size of the case. So the index look a bit “we are a lot in this small size, rescue us!” Also the sides of the case look somehow too cylindrical and the bright of the polish makes the watch too elegant for wat it should be for a “tool watch”. I’m impressed by the design of the classic Aquascaphe, specially in white index, whenever I see it captures my sight 🤓
Bought this one after my Sinn 556i - couldn't be happier..runs +0.6 sec

Fantastic Design!
Nice review .. I got one on a blue tropical strap. No bitching. Love the watch!
Nice watch although the WR rating on the dial might be more useful than ‘Dual Crown’

Wish it had both screw-down crowns,if not use a super compressor case.
