Fantastična igračka! Ruida kontroler je po meni jedan od najboljih. Ono što možeš eventualno napraviti je kupiti dužu lasersku cijev (50 W pa nadalje) te PSU i napraviti zaista dobar stroj. I ovako je dobar, ne kažem. Kad primjetiš da ti cijev daje slabiji izlaz, uloži malo u novu cijev, PSU i možda optiku - bolja leća čini čuda, čak i na mom malom K40 laseru.
We found it's better to separate the air & water power from the laser. These Chinese lasers switches & fuses don't hold up. Also saw a little better stability of laser etch/cut. Just a suggestion.
This is an old video but like most things from china the lasers have not changed much mine looks identical to yours but it does not engrave correctly cuts fine and accurate if you still have this any chance you could send me a copy of your machines settings. I have both lightburn and rd works installed so what ever you have would be appreciated. machine and vendor settings are what i am looking for as I believe it is a timing issue with the laser firing.

Hi, Great videos. I am having issues getting my machine to work. I cannot connect the machine to my computer. When I go to load a file up it does not appear on the Display on the machine. Also, there is no red LED working on the machine. The laser head is stuck in the middle of the machine and will not move when I turn the power on. Any Suggestions?

I cut one by one. I think it is too weak to cut multiple boards at once. It is difficult to get non-bent material and the focus(the distance from the lens) is very important for a good cut. Maybe 60-80W laser could cut it. This machine might cut two 3mm plates at maximum power, but the first would probably be burnt a lot ...

Hi, you need vector graphic. So Corel or Adobe Illustrator or free Inkscape. I mostly use CAD software like SolidWorks and export to .dxf. Easiest to open in this software is .dxf and .ai
I got compressor with machine! It is realy small and air pressure is just a little to help, but is much better with that and safer. You can use something small like for aquarium or similar. You see mine od 5:37 nothing special

Hi, I just got one similar to this one. Did yours come with a driver for your computer to read it?. I plugged mine with the included midi cable but nothing pops up.
Try it yourself. Engrave about 150mm/s 25% power ... cut 10mm/s 65% power ... try to install amper meter to be sure you don't overdrive tube. On mine 70% power is 14mA and that is maximum for that tube ... so 70% is actually 100%

For that price is great. My both PSU died. One was easy to repair for few € other one for tube I needed to buy new one, about 70€. Power is weaker then adverises. For best results you need some time to align mirrors, maybe get better ones. Get spare lens. If you will work a lot you need good cooling sistem like cw5000. Install mA meter to make sure you are not overdrive tube. Never put it on 100% power, watch mA meter ... and use less power and lower speeds ... u will learn by doing it! :)

The laser beam passes through the lens and must be in focus, at a certain distance from the material. The length where the focus is depends on the type of lens that is in the machine. I therefore use this red acrylic tile to know there is a good distance from the lens to the material

I wouldn't recommend to engrave cigarette lighter if is gas inside :) Anodized aluminium can be good for engrave ... laser will remove just coat ... I tried few times, it looks good!

Znam da nije. Pogledao sam sve cijeli njegov kanal prije nego sto sam kupio stroj i znao sam sta kupujem. Svejedeno radi vec 3.5 godine i za te novce je super. Isplati se. Takav stroj nekog poznatijeg brenda je 5.000€ - 10.000€ ... ovaj kosta samo 1500€ i jako brzo se isplati....
@@BuBizgb Upravo sam kupio onaj mali K40 laser cutter/engraver. Isto tako kinez tvrdi da je 40, no nije ni 30W. koliko meni treba, dosta bi bilo i 10W ali da je malo veća radna površina. K40 ima tek 20x30 cm radnu površinu, što mi je za sada okay. Russ Sadler (taj jutubovac) je kupio 60W cijev, no mjerio je više od 70W, tako da je ugodno iznenađen. Ovo sam našao na aliexpressu, a šalju iz češke, tako da neće biti carine. Ma, u pravu si... bitno je da je mehanika precizna i da je površina dovoljno velika, snaga je manje bitna.
For this price is great! 24V PSU died after few weeks, friend repaired it for 3€ ... fan from ventilation was stuck with few kicks it spins again :) ... I'm happy with results but need to align mirror, buy new better set, and better lens! I only have 100h on tube ... it is fine ... planning to upgrade it to real 60W ...It is good buy, good for hobby and side jobs!

@@BuBizgb No, bad 4 me. It happens like this. I saved the files on a stick (USB Key). Before to check the stick I've turned the machine to the fact para settings, thinking the parameters were of the laser machine producer, instead were the Ruida controller parameters, so when I tried to install the files , I've understand that I've lost the stick (stupid enough, but this is it, nothing can do, 4 years ago I've done it). So now I am searching all over the network this files, so easy to save, so easy to lost, god dam'it. I know how to do it now, all that I need is a functionally 50w machine

depends on the quality of the material and the eloxation. For engrave I used 30% and 100mm/s and 40% and 90mm/s it is about 6-8mA?!

It came with some stuff but I think I didn't use it .... just from RD Works, tryed onec it worked good. I always use it with USB stick

zavisi od snage i brzine.Plexi 5mm reze sa 5mm/s na oko 80% snage. Rezali smo 15mm u 3 puta. Uglavnom rezem 3 i 4 mm i to ide na 12-10mm/s

A co2 laser will never cut any metal unless it is 200w+ and with added gas assist.
For metal you normally use fiber.

It says on video ...HDF 3mm ...it mostly here used for back plate of cabinet. These days I prefer plywood and mdf ...but hdf is cheaper.

no, just 2D sheets but you can asseble 3D parts, like boxes, puzzles ... distance from head and part must be same all time to achieve focus

Pozdrav, ja sam u procesu kupovine jednog ovakvog stroja samo nikako da se odlucim koji bi bio najbolji za moje potrebe :) gledam 40w i 50w i svi su relativno skupi pogotov sto me jos brine da li ce me cariniti ovi nasi :) Ja cu najcesce rezati sperplocu od cca 3mm pa me zanima koliko brzo cudo moze rezati?
Uzmi sto vec, meni je zao sto nisam uzeo veci. Zavisi koju sperplocu i koja snaga ... ja rezem od 7-12 mm/s. Uzmi iz EU, moj je iz Poljske dosao....
@@BuBizgb jel preko alija ebaya ili nesto trece? :) ja pikiram na 40x40 za sad jer ovi veci su dosta skuplji a i u planu mi je CNC pa mi se bas ne uklapa u financijsku konstrukciju :D

Vrijedi, moj jos radi. Ali koristim ga za hobi uporabu. Ne bi preporucio, bez nadogradnji da radi kao radni stroj 8 sati dnevno. Za par sati tjedno je ok!
Nažalost, ta laserska cijev nije zapravo 50W. Maksimalno mjereno na izlazu cijevi je oko 40W, a na radnoj površini malo više od 30W.

Znam da nije. Pogledao sam sve cijeli njegov kanal prije nego sto sam kupio stroj i znao sam sta kupujem. Svejedeno radi vec 3.5 godine i za te novce je super. Isplati se. Takav stroj nekog poznatijeg brenda je 5.000€ - 10.000€ ... ovaj kosta samo 1500€ i jako brzo se isplati....
@@BuBizgb Upravo sam kupio onaj mali K40 laser cutter/engraver. Isto tako kinez tvrdi da je 40, no nije ni 30W. koliko meni treba, dosta bi bilo i 10W ali da je malo veća radna površina. K40 ima tek 20x30 cm radnu površinu, što mi je za sada okay. Russ Sadler (taj jutubovac) je kupio 60W cijev, no mjerio je više od 70W, tako da je ugodno iznenađen. Ovo sam našao na aliexpressu, a šalju iz češke, tako da neće biti carine. Ma, u pravu si... bitno je da je mehanika precizna i da je površina dovoljno velika, snaga je manje bitna.

For this price is great! 24V PSU died after few weeks, friend repaired it for 3€ ... fan from ventilation was stuck with few kicks it spins again :) ... I'm happy with results but need to align mirror, buy new better set, and better lens! I only have 100h on tube ... it is fine ... planning to upgrade it to real 60W ...It is good buy, good for hobby and side jobs!

PLease can u share with us this files? I know there are a lot of begginers worldwide who made the same fatal mistake and we need help! Thank you (the chinese do not understand english, they made me an offer to resale their machines instead of sending the files, lol)
Where are those files? I just use RDWorks and USB stick to transfer to machine?
@@BuBizgb No, bad 4 me. It happens like this. I saved the files on a stick (USB Key). Before to check the stick I've turned the machine to the fact para settings, thinking the parameters were of the laser machine producer, instead were the Ruida controller parameters, so when I tried to install the files , I've understand that I've lost the stick (stupid enough, but this is it, nothing can do, 4 years ago I've done it). So now I am searching all over the network this files, so easy to save, so easy to lost, god dam'it. I know how to do it now, all that I need is a functionally 50w machine
