Easily Keyleth's finest hour in LOVM. She utilized all she's learned across the three seasons to outlast and ultimately outwit... or perhaps better to say DECEIVE the Deceiver. And now Raishan is reduced to being the DECEASED Deceiver.
She's grown so much since Season 1. She survived undeath, she passed through fire, she went to hell and back, and found love that keeps her tethered.
And overall, I felt that this was a great finale, especially since at the time _they didn't even know they would be getting a Season 4._ As such, the ending felt more hopeful and cathartic and bittersweet.

So, they have announced season 4, but at this point nothings been said about it being the final season which (despite them heavily teasing The Whispered One at the end) I don't think it will be. There's still quite a lot to get through, and Sam recently said they have plans for "A Bard's Lament" and just didn't want to end season 3 with it because they didn't know they'd be getting a season 4 when making season 3. Also, side note: I kind of wish when it cut to black at the end, we heard maybe a laugh or a single line from The Whispered One, anything to confirm whether or not Mark Hamill will be voicing him. That's the one casting announcement we've been waiting for ever since their Kickstarter Q&A where someone in chat brought up the possibility of Mark Hamill voicing Vecna.

How poetic. Raishan had prepared herself against the vestiges... but not Keyleth's natural strength nor her persistence... or her own cleverness.
