How To Build a $500 Gaming PC
FAQ:
1.
Q: Why did you go with the GTX 1050 Ti? You have an integrated gpu already.
A: Is the integrated vega gpu enough for playing most games these days at high settings above 60FPS? No. Is it as powerful as something like a GTX 1050 Ti? No, not even close.
2.
Q: Why didn't you go with the Ryzen 3 1200 or Ryzen 5 1600 instead?
A: I have already built a Ryzen 3 1200 system for this channel, it is pointless to build the same PC when the new CPU/APU is already out there. Why not Ryzen 5 1600? Budget issues, basically an older generation and who wants to see the same thing over and over again?
3.
Q: Does Intel Optane Memory work on AMD as well?
A: No it does not. I haven't done research about Optane and just decided to purchase and use it for this build without knowing that it would not work. This was a re upload video, I had to remove some of the clips showing how I installed the Optane memory.
4.
Q: Why a single stick of memory/ram? A dual channel memory would give you more FPS in games.
A: Yes it is correct that going dual channel would give a significant boost in performance in most games, if not all. I had this memory/ram for a while now and decided to just use it instead of buying another one. I also feel like some people want to save a little more money by going with a single stick or someone would want to upgrade to 16GB soon, so adding another 8GB is easier.
5.
Q: Did you update the motherboard bios? Did you get any issues with the mothetboard?
A: Yes, a technician from my local computer store updated the bios for me using an older generation Ryzen CPU. No, I did not have any issues with the motherboard.
Some things I want to explain.
As far as I know, all Intel Core/Pentium CPUs do have integrated graphics as well but people still buy dedicated graphic cards.
Gaming on an integrated gpu has its LIMITS, either in thermal issues or just raw power.
Some people also want the latest tech, personal preference.
Don't hate. Lets respect one's choices.
The Ryzen 3 2200G is currently at the same price with the Ryzen 3 1200 (in Canada) or sometimes cheaper so it is a no brainer to get the 2200G right.
If someone went with a GT 710, GT 1030 or any low end graphics card, then that is something that would be considered pointless.
This content/video is far from perfect but I will do my best to make the next one even better (upcoming coffee lake pentium based pc)

I think if people dislike this video only cause of using ryzen 3 2200g with 1050 ti, because when we already have a dedicated graphic than why we waste money on integrated graphic , we can use that money to upgrade processor, but anyway I liked this video
Gamer Gamer That makes sense. I wouldn't build another Ryzen 3 1200 or Ryzen 5 1600 though because I did that already and they are old generation.
In my opinion, the next generation Ryzen in 2019-2020 are going to come with integrated graphics as well and for sure people are still going to buy dedictaed graphics.
Some people also want to get the lastest tech, just different personal choices. Again, this comment is in general for everyone who didn't like the video.

In my opinion, I'd use that money to upgrade my RAM to dual channeling or opt for getting another gpu.... It's pointless to buy graphics card even though if you have a GPU :/

If someone installed a gt 710 or gt 1030 on this system, then its pointless.
Do Intel CPU's have integrated graphics? Yes. So why do people buy budget graphic cards or high end cards, because "the integrated gpu is not enough for some games out there"

Nice Build! Aiming for something similar soon. Only point of critics: I'd go for a 2-dim kit of ram instead for a single stick bc ryzen scales better with dual channel. But with ram pricing atm.. ^^ oh man...
Yeah I thought about that too. Went with a single stick because I think people would want to upgrade to 16GB soon and adding another 8GB stick in the future would be easier.

How did you install this new Ryzen? Have you updated the Bios? Did you have any problems?

So I built a Ryzen 3 1200 PC already. The integrated graphics is also not as powerful as something like a 1050 Ti.
Personal choices, some people want the latest tech, especially because they are available so why not get it.
Same thing goes for Intel CPU's. They have integrated graphics but people still buy dedicated gpus. Why? because it is not enough for gaming at high settings.

I don't know why but I'm experiencing low FPS and stutters or jitters when my games are under 50 FPS. 50-30 fps feels like 20 fps And I overclocked my R3 1200 to 3.7 GHz and the RAM to 2666 Mhz. GPU is the Galax 1050 Ti.
