@@Samuelfish2k nah, i peeled it off just fine, you need to apply more than 3 layers, i did 3 light coats and then 3 more heavy coats and one gloss on top and it peeled off just fine
Only people who have never removed the average grille out there would say that. They are generally unnecessarily tricky to remove. Not hard, not scary, just unnecessary
For anyone who does this and doesnt remove the grille, you can put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator to block it. If you spray close enough it will overspray into the radiator
I recommend doing lighter tack coat on first coat and then put it on like you were but add a 4th coat and then gloss once or twice depending on desired effect, second for more gloss but be careful because if you do it too thick it can look kinda milky.

After you would use isopropyl alcohol and a rag to make sure it's clean, then you can spray paint, he used black mate plasti dip and he finished with black gloss plasti dip. I think its usually what you would do but he skipped some steps, it still works tho, someone correct me if I'm wrong

Honestly I was here to comment on the spray spilling onto the paint, but you peeled 'er off without seemingly damaging it. Even if this isn't a permanent fix it looks good now, and seems easy to maintain. Easy option for those without an affordable alternative.
@@IEatMedia you need to scuff the material your painting first so the paint actually has something to adhere to then you’ll wipe it down with alcohol really good then paint slow light coats. You can’t paint it all with one coat. Then just let it sit and cure for days sometimes weeks before you mess with it
