Lartian-Gûûbsta You should try putting Elmer's school glue on the insides of your hands and spreading it out in a layer. Peeling that stuff off of your hands is some very satisfactory peeling. Peeling the plastic stuff off of new electronics? That's some of the world's best peeling. The only thing better than peeling is peeling and sticking. In answer to your question, Yes. You are weird.On a serious note, my favorite thing about this video was how awesome the car began to look as the guy took the Plastidip off of it panel by panel. What an improvement!!!!!! A cheaper alternative might be to duct tape a bunch of garbage bags to one's car then take them off. Just imagine how great your car will look after the garbage bags are removed.

My first car was a Mercury Mystique, which is the same thing as a Ford Contour. The previous owner got rear ended and fixed it with a Ford. The officer who pulled me over was baffled, thought Id swapped the license plates even! I told him to look at the front, the steering wheel even, or the VIN in the window!
This would be kinda cool for the front of the car. I was cleaning my car the other day and no matter how hard I scrubbed the little black pieces of tar from the road just refuse to budge! They're literally imbedded into the car. I could see dipping the front and then replacing it every few years or so to avoid the tar from sticking itself to your car.
Too gone or bug and tar remover works great on that little black crap. Just be sure to clean it off when you're done.
There are products out there that will remove tar etc. without ruining your paint. Have no idea what brands you might have in the US though (or wherever you are).

***** For what it is worth I had an 1985 model and my boss used it on my car because he always used it on his car. Well it took the clear coat off and you could see the color of the paint on the rag. Totally destroyed the paint.

Wow, this plastidip is an amazing product.! Plastidip completely changed my life. Let me give my review. See before Plastidip it was almost impossibleeeeeee to pull off bank robberies or hold up a jewelry stores. As soon as I would do it, there was an APB for a Black Audi, and they would catch me in no time. Booooooo! Now I just put on a layer of white plasti dip *before* any one of our heists and boom! All I have to do is pull to a well hidden side street, pull off a layer of my white Plasti dip and I have a Black Audi again! Haha, good luck with that NYPD! It's so funny, one time after pulling off my white plasti dip, I saw a SWAT team completely circled this white Audi. They pulled out their guns, made the driver get out yelling "get on the ground! NOW!" You should have seen their faces when they realized he was just a dad on his way to a soccer game! Haha! I'm thinking of upping the ante and maybe getting into kidnapping. I heard it was a highly lucritive and rewarding position. Thanks Plasti dip!

Fonzie, I bought the clear Matt and glossifier Plasti-Dip from your store and applied it to my front bumper, rims,rocker panels and headlights are used extra glossifier and it came out great I want to thank you for all the tips on your videos.
I was actually liking that 2 tone scheme when you started peeling off the door panel and left the stripes up

You could just change vehicles, which would give you EVEN MORE cover because you could go from, say, a dirty bike to a sedan. Then you benefit from being able to weave through gridlocked traffic.

well I have a 2000 mustang gt and ima use plasti dip to ad some black to the back so it looks better but yes it would be good for organized crime

I was talking about the dip that he was peeling off. I was worried the dip was dissolving the factory paint. Now I know he had a coat of purple under the white and that's why it looks like that.

Beyond personal preference and doing or undoing some visual work that isn't permanent, I'd say it is a nice way to preserve the original paint job and trim for resale.

If your friend or neighbor plastidipped his car, THIS would be a SUPERcool practical joke. He comes out in the morning and there is NO plastidip on his car.
I did extra coats and it's still not easy. Had a good full life though, I just wouldn't chalk it up to didn't do it right if it isn't exactly as advertised. I just don't think it's ages good outdoors.

Paint has a glossy shine, this has a mat look. Your eyes are the one thats messed up if you think it looks like paint.

So. Basically, you teach me how to Plasti-dip my car with a totally different color with the guys it needs to rob a bank or something. Then you show how to turn a car from lime green back to black for an easy getaway.
