Cecil, I can not thank you enough for this recipe. I made my first batch and decided I wanted to make a 32-ounce batch and simply multiplied the ingredients as appropriate. I've watched other channels, and messed up so badly and wasted so much product and money. Your recipe is spot-on. The clear formulation is TRULY CLEAR. That is what I have been waiting for, a Truly Clear formulation. As I intensely watched each chemical action of every ingredient, I realized that you can't rush the process, and checking the temperature as you go is everything. Your formula was easy, and the thickness is just what I was looking for. I made some for myself and added color and fragrance and some for my 3 year old grandbabies, CLEAR, no color or fragrance. I love this! Again, thank you so much!!!!!.

sodium laurly sarcocinate 15

Pureact 5
Glycerin. 5
Xthan gum trasperent. 0.5
Polysorbate 20. 2
Pottasium sor... 0.20
Sodium. Benz... 0.30
Licoricw ext. 2
Orange ext. 2
Water. Upto 100
Pureact 138 is a natural, mild surfactant combination comprised of Decyl Glucoside and Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate.
But its becomes hazzy

Whats the combination of natural surfactant and natural thickner to used for trasperent face wash
the PH of this is around 7. I cant believe you are still using PH strips. They can be off by 2 full points in their measurements...

Love this clear one thickened perfectly no need for gums or polymers. N with small % of slsa . Thats really good. You can get same thickness with aos 40 and sles with capb but have to use more of them.

I tried SCI for creamy recipe with the same dissolving technique like SLMI but it didn’t give me this beautiful creamy color

hi, looks an amazing product with simple ingredients really. just wanted to know what can be the alternative of Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate that you have used in transparent gel face wash? I have Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate, Lauryl Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside & SLES.
I am not yet aware of any surfactant that will produce a transparent liquid soap as SLSA

If you wish to make a face wash like the rose face wash, with the same consistency, then you should follow the recipe of the rose face wash…
If you want to follow this same recipe and add xanthan gum to it, you should make a small badge of 30 grams and try to see how the out come will be.
Make sure to first do some research to see if the ingredients you wish to use are compatible with one another…
In this recipe you are using solubilizer INCI:polyglyceryl-3 cocoate (and) caprylyl/capryl glucoside and polyglyceryl-6 Laurate .. these names is 1 chemical or different different chemicals? And what gram i use ???????????????????????????????????????

Glad you like the recipe. You can add any essence oil you wish, remember to mix it first with a solubiliser, else the oil will seperate from the gel

You can definitely use a different solubiliser, just make sure the one you use is compatible with the ingredients used in the recipe.

Yes you can. I am not sure how the reaction will be if alcohol based extracts are added to the formulation. I only added glycerine based extracts to both formulations

Yes, you can use it as a shampoo as well. You may need to add a different extract to it, perhaps something good for the hair. Make sure what ever extract you add is glycerine based, without alcohol.

What if I want to eat essential oil to make it smell good
You can add it, but you will need to mix the essential oil in a solubiliser to enable to oil to mix with the wash gel.

yes you can use 20 grams of SCI powder for a 200 gram formula. Your end product will be creamy, not transparent.

yes dear, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate is in flaked form and in liquid form. I am sure they have the same INCI name
