Not being Italian, i never know what time ti actually take it out of the water. Even the normal lasagne sheets (can't find no-boil sheets in my country) bake perfectly without boiling first for this recipe. I do dip them in water first but no soaking and no boiling + the amazing ready made kdd bechamel sauce=amazing time saver.

(Update) the lasagna turned out pretty good i just needed to put some sugar to the tomato sauce cause it was too acidic and i had heartburns, besides that it was pretty good also if you are going to use precooked lasagna make the sauce a little watery so the lasagna sheets can finish cooking otherwise they are going to be dry

hello! i tried this for the first time at home and it turned out to be amazing. i had an issue with the lasagna sheets though.it was kinda semi hard. i guess we need to soften them a little bit (in warm water) before layering. overall it was all good! especially the taste.

I think if you want the top of lasagna to be more burnt like in mac and cheese, you can remove the foil a few minutes before it's baked in the oven. I personally like it more burnt than this video but everything depends on your personal preference

@@CookingADream Not a bore. It’s just that I abhor those things, they are so intrusive! In any case, I followed your recipe, made 2x so I could have extras. Well, I didn’t much extra left because my guests loved it! Thanks a lot, I will never be able to serve frozen lasagna again! The only real issue was prep time, which I suppose isn’t a real issue…but its not something I would have time to create after work. The only change I made was I cooked the lasagna noodles beforehand. I thought it tasted more authentic than store bought and from now on I will be making it this way. 🎉

I made it today using mushroom and Eggplant and it came out great! I made the Bechamel sauce vegan & Gluten-free using coconut milk, gluten-free all purpose flour and vegan butter! it was amazing! Thank you so much for the inspiration and recipe technique!
Thanks for the video, my lasagna was much better after following some of these steps. I always put the pasta in hot water to make it soft, but now that's not necessary. The lasagna turned out great 👏

They sell oven ready noodles. They cook during baking. There is a difference. Always check they say “oven ready noodles”. 🙂
