      Aww your so welcome! I didn't mention much about the sauce I used, but just a tip, use a high quality marinara sauce for best results. I used a brand called Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce, I should've mentioned that in the video.

    • @LadyLeeBird
      @LadyLeeBird Год назад +7

      I've never tried Raos sauce, but have seen it in stores. It looks good, but pricey.
      I discovered Mids sauce years ago in a grocery store, and it's pricey as well ($5 per jar on average, but I buy when on sale) but WELL WORTH IT!
      I use the Mids meat sauce in my lasagna every time, and I'll use a cheaper brand like Aldis meat sauce cuz one jar will not do a whole pan.
      I also have a secret ingredient that takes my lasagna to the next level.. cream cheese instead of ricotta.
      I used to be very intimidated by lasagna too, but it's a very simple and easy meal that goes a long way. Leftovers are even better! Freeze it if you have a small family, and you've got dinner ready on nights you don't want to cook!
      P.S. this lasagna looks good, I'll have to pick up some raos sauce up on my next trip and see how it compares to my Mids! 👍

      @@formatique_arschloch Italian sausage is simply a sausage made with pork (sweet sausage). Traditionally, Italian dishes such as this are with combined meats, veal, pork, beef, even lamb. Sausages are usually the most common way to add ground pork into dishes. I usually just squeeze it out of the casing. Cucina italiano.

    Hi you can also use honey to neutralise the acidity, it’s healthier than sugar. With love from Australia 😊

    You better make some homemade lasagna girl. I'm about to make some homemade lasagna tonight for dinner with some garlic bread. But this is my first time ever making homemade lasagna. I love to cook, so I've always wanted the experience in making homemade lasagna. So before I did, I decided to come RUclips and find a video recipe. I came across yours and I love your recipe so I chose yours! I will definitely let you know how it turned out.😊

    Im not a fan of ricotta cheese. So when making lasanga I subsitute ricotta for small curd cottage cheese. So much tastier! Your lasagna looks WONDERFUL..YUM

    What were the seasonings?😢

    The ragu yes sugar. But allow it to simmer 45 min-1hr uncovered to reduce. Covered leaves the moisture to build back up not reducing.

    Thx looks really good. TIP- If you want to reduce your sugar intake. Very thinly slice the ends of a Carrot into the sauce. It's so thin that it will disappear and do the same as adding the sugar.
