On one hand, if someone where to say for example make a parody of these scary games and make it intentionally appear as if there where more story beneath the surface only to mock people who theorize about this stuff for looking deeper into games that clearly intend for players to find the rest of the story thenselves, i think that's a bit unfair. When this gane first came out, i believed it was directly mocking and making fun of the FNAF community simply for trying to find the hidden lore of a game the developer probably thought wasn't worth looking for. But on the other hand, once again, for as legitimately scary and creepy as some people find this game, i don't think there is any denying this game is a giant shitpost with jumpscares and shit, so when people came out claiming that this game Definately had intentional and very dark and serious hidden lore within it and that they had found the definitive story that the developer definitely and deliberately intended for, i can understand wanting to clear up the confusion a little. I have a few ideas for video games myself and if they ever got super popular, i am sure people would try to look for darker reasoning and meaning to it all. I wouldn't quite go about things like this but i would probably let people know that i encourage people finding their own fun or drawing their own conclusion from things and making whatever story they think is most satisfying out of it, but that my intentions weren't to hide anything bigger and darker beneath the surface and to remember that their theories and head canons are just that, not the absolute definitive final canon story that everything is building to.

The secret ending was full of unnecessary earrape, who would be happy with that. Also FNAF 4/20 seemed a lot more fun and satisfying to beat than this game, especially with baldi being a lot of luck/RNG needed for the true ending.

While Baldy‘s basics is more rng based, It is a lot more forgiving if you make a mistake. , They are both very hard games especially in the hardest mode. It’s just the difference is fnaf 4/20 was genuinely thought to be impossible until Big buzz beat it and even then a lot of people thought it was impossible, including Scott himself. Baldi’s basics specificly added in a new character and a new mechanic to make the secret ending possible, Which is probably why Mark had such a different reaction to beating them.

There’s a really good video by TechRules on the coding of Baldi’s Basics (it’s interesting I swear) and he explains that it’s-ironically-because the developer coded Baldi’s speed to be based off a math equation that capped out at a certain point, which once that limit was reached his AI flips out and the ruler slaps go at infinite speed. So if you did bad math, you were punished with….bad math.
I have the mobile version of this, and that actually happened as a glitch, I accidentally got one problem wrong on the first notebook, and his slaps were how an all problem wrong run used to be before this ending got added

I love that Mark always goes above and beyond with trying to beat games. 20/20 mode in FNAF, Vanish, even with Welcome to the Game 2 he…tried (that one was just pretty unfair lol). In all honesty however, I'm glad Mark never saw the end because it's NOT worth it. The ending is SO stupid - there's two endings but neither of them are satisfying in any way because Either way you look at it, the cult wins in the most anticlimactic way possible.

They most likely did something related to the secret ending considering they're in the office in the secret ending, now named Filename2, and they can only tell you what's going on in that office, because we can hear them say when you beat the game normally "Wow. Great job. Please try and do worse though, I need to-" before the game crashes. When you talk to them, they say that the game is corrupted and you need to destroy it and, I quote "No- No, I'm not trapped in a game. That would... That would be ridiculous", implying that that is what happened. They're further telling you to leave immediately by saying once "THIS PROGRAM IS CANCER" There's also another secret bit of the lore that isn't explained yet. Specifically the 99 lore. Look up "Baldi's Basics Wiki 99", and it should explain what we know about that. That's my interpretation, anyways

@@xavi_1007 Some random person played the game. Whether they won or lost is unclear, but they did something (most likely related to the secret ending), that got them stuck in the game. They most likely did something related to the secret ending considering they're in the office in the secret ending, now named Filename2, and they can only tell you what's going on in that office, because we can hear them say when you beat the game normally "Wow. Great job. Please try and do worse though, I need to-" before the game crashes. When you talk to them, they say that the game is corrupted and you need to destroy it and, I quote "No- No, I'm not trapped in a game. That would... That would be ridiculous", implying that that is what happened. They're further telling you to leave immediately by saying once "THIS PROGRAM IS CANCER"
There's also another secret bit of the lore that isn't explained yet. Specifically the 99 lore. Look up "Baldi's Basics Wiki 99", and it should explain what we know about that.
