Hey Jen, will you do a round up of your top 5 mineral sunscreens at the end of the month? You’re still my fav!!

Love this series! To remove SPF products the best is to use cleansing balms or oils. I use the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil every day to remove my makeup and SPF. Is very light and makes an emulsion with water to remove it very easily. Doesn’t leave a greasy skin (after that I usually do a second cleansing step by washing my face with any cleansing product). And is super affordable! (I saw it on Walgreens website and here in Mexico I get it at Walmart!)

Even with double cleansing, sometimes it’s still hard to remove certain spfs, esp water resistant ones. I’ve had to wash my face again after a double cleanse to get it off completely. I always use a cleansing oil or balm as first step and this Cerave one is hard to remove

Heimish All Clean Balm is the way to remove mineral sunscreen. Apply dry, dampen hands and emulsify the balm (this step gets everything off), then rinse off. Follow with water-based cleanser.

I love this sunscreen. I started using it once I had a pre cancer spot. The tint is a little dark but once blended in it was great. It dries down and has no smell which I’m grateful for. I use van I cream to wash my face and makes it a breeze to come off. I love that cleanser it takes mascara and other pigmented makeup off as a breeze. Thank you for your review.

The thickness of this particular sunscreen is what turned me off. Plus it ended up pilling up a lot and that was probably due to whatever skin care I had done previously but I returned it just based on my experience of application. I have to enjoy applying it otherwise I won’t use it. Thank you for these shorts! Love you Jen!

I love seeing these mineral sunscreens! Thanks for testing them out for us. I am curious what you use for spf around your eyes though. I’ve been trying to focus on spreading the sunscreen into every little crevasse since my mom has had several basal cell skin cancers removed.
I do have issues with them migrating into my eyelid creases. Not sure what to do about it.

I love these little videos. You don't put sunscreen on your eyelids and inner corner of eyes? Which is why I appreciate this series of mineral sunscreens. I absolutely cannot wear anything else around my eyes.
After hearing Dr Dray say that eyelids are a common cancer spot I make sure to. Now, if only I remembered my sunglasses everywhere
I tried the CeraVe tinted last year and it was super dark on me and darkened even more throughout the day. I gave it away.

That sunscreen is about the only thing on the planet that succeeds in breaking me out. I have insanely dry skin and nothing usually causes breakouts. I tried this product a couple of times over the past few weeks (Pinterest made me buy it) and I broke out each time. I always wear sunscreen too, so it wasn’t the fact of adding this to my routine. It’s the product itself.

Jen I know I have a really long comment on here but please read them it's a list of Korean sunscreens with the prices and where to get them. Please try some of them and let me know what you think. The beauty of Josen seems to get the highest rating out of anyone! I have never seen one person say anything bad about it whether they have dry skin or oily skin. But if you're looking for I guess it really good one from what I hear is the isntree water gel. They are all under 20 American dollars and they are spf 50++++

Huh, this was the next one I was going to try when I use up my current facial sunscreen. But I think my skintone is lighter than yours, so I don't know how this would work for me. Re removing sunscreen, I've never had to use a special cleanser to do it. Not even when I went to Hawaii and was wearing a reef safe Badger mineral sunscreen that was very heavy. So heavy that my extremely dry skin loved it. I didn't even have to wear moisturizer under it!

I have more oily skin and I have the same thoughts about this sunscreen. I applied it without moisturizer underneath and don't use foundation after - just setting powder. In that way it's not too heavy.

I believe this is a vegan-friendly formulation as well?
CeraVe and LRP are quite a dangerous territory in this regard putting beeswax everywhere or other ingredients, so I’m never using their products 👀

I've been using the Plus One with Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream on top, and I have an easy time removing it with a first cleanse with micellar water on cotton pads (mostly to remove full eye makeup), then doing a second cleanse with an older formula foaming unscented cream cleanser by Olay or just plain Dove unscented sensitive skin formula bar soap (!) on a microfiber washcloth in the shower. I'm 64, with rosacea, lines, wrinkles, etc. and no irritation with this base combination and cleansing routine.

I was just able to try the Bubble one today, compared to my current SKIN1004, it was thick and left a tacky finish, almost like old-fashioned ss. Also, it had a very weird scent. I wish this one had worked for me. There are some good suggestions on here: the Cetaphil, MD Solarsciences that I still want to try. Great series!
