    Welcome back Tiebreak fans for another Steam Early Access update - five is alive!
    We have to say we are really pleased with the response and feedback we received for TIEBREAK Early Access 4, it was great to see the positive feedback regarding the progress made in several areas of the game.
    While we love the positive feedback, we also note and address the negative feedback as it is just as important to making a better game, and we know that the majority of you were not happy with the addition of the adrenaline system. After public discussion and consultation on the TIEBREAK forums and Steam, we have decided to remove it from the game for this Early Access 5. It is our hope with this update that you will see that we have continued taking on and working with your feedback to push the game to its limits. You rest assured that we will continue to work on and improve with each update as we approach final release.
    Early Access 5 heralds the introduction of Star Player Career (One Season, for feedback) and a Movement and Groundstroke revamp, plus eight additional ATP / WTA player
    Sofia Kenin
    Jessica Pegula
    Aryna Sabalenka
    Caroline Wozniacki
    Kei Nishikori
    Holger Rune
    Cameron Norrie
    Andrey Rublev
    While we have your attention here, we’d like to shout out to the many new fans that have joined us on the forums to give feedback, we’re so pleased to have you all onboard - please keep that feedback coming!
    The final release of TIEBREAK (on August 22nd, 2024) will include the ability to play a career with custom players, in addition to Star Player Career Mode. In the meantime, TIEBREAK Early Access releases will introduce even more new players, WTA finals, press conferences for Star Player Career Mode and gameplay improvements (of course!).
    We would like to remind those that have not purchased TIEBREAK Early Access that the final price will be €49.99, and in line with that, there will be a price increase to €39.99 on 10 June 2024.
    Lastly, there has been a lot of feedback on the smaller details such as line judges, ball kids, and a challenge system, these will certainly be included in future updates, but for now our focus is the core gameplay and implementing change based on the TIEBREAK experience you have shared with us.
    Thank you! We’ll see you on the court!
    The Tiebreak Team

    At least they're not half volleying every ball now. That's a big improvement.

    Good video looks some good improvement from early access 4 , but haven't seen any videos of games being played on grass does the ball act different on grass ? I like top spin 2025 but lacking tournaments career mode not realistic but good hoping tiebreak will improve further got great potential to be a good tennis game,top spin 2025 I think has good gameplay good looking arenas just lacking game modes

    • @JohnnyDGaming89
      @JohnnyDGaming89  3 месяца назад +1

      At this point there’s no difference between hard, clay or grass in terms of how they play really, they tried sliders in the AO Tennis games but it didn’t really get implemented well

    The animations have not improved , i am looking to buy this game on console in August but to sell this game at full price they need to do more motion capture.This game has great potential.

    Can we turn off zoom on serve?

    • @delpinsky
      @delpinsky 3 месяца назад +3

      Yeah, that zoom looks really really annoying. Also the AI looks set at level amateur, because he plays as slow as an amateur player would do. Absurd. This game could have potential, but the devs have a long way to go.

      Not an option, I don’t understand why it was added in the first place

    Same rehashed tripe every time, sitting this one out I think unless there’s major improvements, player movement is so bad

    They just get the movement right then jt will pass topspin

    My dude I understand you frustrated with the game , but I watch tennis daily this actually looks really good the shots rublev hit against you in his service games were great shots . I have tennis elbow 4 and the AI hits shots like that it’s realistic . I think it looks better then top spin and is much more realistic.

      I watch tennis too and this game is ass. Its obvious they're trying to capitalize on top spins shortcomings which is roster size and that's not enough..

    It will be the last update before release? Clearly not ready as you said... Defensive shots are always some kind of lobs basically?
    I guess I'll put my money and hopes on Full Ace Tennis then, won't even bother TS2K25 as I was already bored of it after a month watching some videos of it, way too repetitive.

    • @JohnnyDGaming89
      @JohnnyDGaming89  3 месяца назад +3

      They made it sound like there will be more updates before it releases in August, unclear how many though. Yeah the defensive shots are the same as they were in the AO Tennis games, they clearly haven't learned from that
