Microsoft really dropped the ball with the Xbox One, it's showing its age a lot more than the PS4, its resolution in Fortnite is about the same as the docked Nintendo Switch and this console is basically a tablet-sized handheld.

Xbox seriously doubled down with the GPU on xbox one, you can really see the compatibility differences between the versions of FN.
The UE 5.1 patch really is insane. It went from a ugly af game to almost Pixar level. And this is only the begining of Lumen + Nanite.

PS5 and XSX are doing so well. Considered they are just under $500 on the other hand a beefy PC would cost around 3 to 4k maybe 5k. I don’t see a difference worth $4000.

La One X sigue siendo una Bestia, una máquina para la cual se deberían producir juegos 2 años más por el potencial que tiene… pero al final son ellos quienes deciden, es una lástima para sus usuarios porque tiene unos 5 años de vida y lo normal siempre son 7.
Sé que producir para One X y no para One base/S es una lástima para las dos One mas modestas pero One X es mucho más potente.
Igualmente decir que con un poco de suerte todavía habrá desarrolladoras que quieran seguir dando soporte un tiempo más.
Xbox One X é um console que tem um processador de 2013, por mais que a Gpu empurre, o processador será o gargalo, ele não aguenta mais jogos de última geração.

1- la versión de switch se ve bastante bien
2- la one x tiene ciertos ajustes que la hacen parecer una versión de nueva generación
La one x, parece estar usando LUMEN, para la luz del sol o las sombras entre otras cosas, algo que pensé que solo estaba reservado para consolas de nueva generación, aunque parece tener el lumen al mínimo, ya que sólo afecta a las sombras y a algunos reflejos.

Una cosa que añadir la versión de móvil va a 720p 30fps o 540p 60fps no 1080p y en este capítulo han bajado la distancia de dibujado y eliminado el pasto por lo que se ve aún más terrible de lo que ya era

It still quite amazes me that we're seeing an Unreal Engine 5.1 game running on a portable console like the Nintendo Switch and at almost the same resolution as the base Xbox One version, yeah... the frame-rate is half, but it's even graphically close to the Xbox One in some specific points (and graphically superior to the mobile version in general), this is incredible for a handheld, Epic really did an incredible job with this engine, I never imagined it would be so scalable.
Not to mention that it's pretty cool that the PS4 Pro and Xbox One have some improvements besides the higher resolution (like draw-distance, shadow quality and texture quality) you don't see so many companies giving importance to these consoles since the PS5 and Xbox Series were released.

Fortnite Smartphone still looks ugly as fuck. I know heat is the main issue when it comes to gaming on phones but if they are quote, unquote "making phones more power efficient" then the heat threshold should be more forgiving. There should be no excuse why these newer chip smartphones can't look like the Nintendo Switch in graphics by now. If your phone is capable then there should be an option for your phone to do so. This option of course, won't be available on less capable devices. I just can't stomach the fact that we have phones with A16 bionic and 8 gen 2 SoC in them and still look outdated.

I have a phone with 8 gen 2 and I confirm the graphics are not the best. The reason it's because it's not available on play/app store so they not optimize with the newest SoC. You can see on m y channel it's 50-60fps

Claramente la mejor versión es la Series X, por encima incluso de la versión Pc y a la Ps5 la deja en evidencia.

Guys who play on ps4 slim or base does the game drop sometimes or only?
I recently got a Series S and yesterday went back to playing the PS4 slim version to try it out. It runs at 50-60 for the most part. Really smooth for the type of game it is. However I don't know what is it, but it gets down to 20 sometimes. My guess is that it happens when it loads a lot of things at once. I have gotten killled due to these spikes more than once.

Why the smartphone version are worse than the switch version?
I mean after snapdragon 845+ (870 recommended) literally have working switch emulator, so if i want to play a better version on phone should i get the eggNS switch version? But that does not support multiplayer games.
Because the Switch version is based on the PS4 and XBOX ONE version while the Smartphone version is a separate version.

@@tripical148 2022-2024 ports have been pretty good, actually. Not like those that came from PS4, those required a lot more power than the console to run them, now, you can use any similar PC with an RTX 3060Ti or an RTX 3070 and will probably run the same or even better (as long as you have a good CPU).

No conozco mucho del tema, ¿Pero era necesario actualizar la vieja generación a unreal 5 también?, solo hizo que esas versiones del juego se vieran peor ya que están usando un motor que no fue pensado para ps4, xbone y switch

Unreal Engine 5 fue implementado desde el Capitulo 3, fortnite iba decente, pero en el capitulo 4 recien actualizaron a Unreal Engine 5.1 e implementaron Lumen y Nanite, cambiando el estilo de los graficos pero eso fue desición de epic
