I may make an update. This has stopped working for some, but still works for me on the latest ISO I could DL from MS. Here are some other methods:
Select the option to set it up for school use and "connect to a domain" - This will bypass the online account
OR press Shift+F10 when you start your install and type: OOBE\BYPASSNRO (this should trigger an offline installation)
Got this notification just as I needed this information. Cheers!
Thanks for the advice! Worked like a charm both on desktop and laptop PC.
you can also make a iso for windows 11 with rufus and you can set it to make a offline account by default.
it asks for password on some computers and there is no password
Hey Logan, thanks for the video, keep pushing forward. TImes are getting darker but u know your heart shines brighter.
Worked like a charm - thank you!!
Very clever! Thank You for this!
Keep up the good work!
i just set up a cheap laptop for someone that was in "Windows S Mode" by default, talk about a real treat. None of the tricks worked to skip the create an account deal. Then once you are in you can't install anything unless it is from the microsoft store. The only way to disable S Mode is to log into the microsoft store and install "Remove S mode" or whatever it was called. big yikes.
You can do it by booting in recovery mode or using a cd and changing the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Offline\ControlSet001\Control\CI\SkuPolicyRequired" dword from 1 to 0
An other option might be to swap utilman with cmd and open the accessibility menu, which will start a command line, from there you can type "net user [username] [password] /add && net localgroup Administrators [username] /add"
That will should add a local administrative account.
Also note the Administrators group name may be different if your pc isn't in English.
thanks for the tip, though It might not actually matter what you type, I used to just type random characters and it would do the same thing. :)
Have you thought of doing another console killer video Logan? Would love to see a modern one vs PS5/Series X
There is an easy way to, just pick connect to local domain, it will prompt to create local user
Fake email account method didn't work. Yours did. Thanks!
Thank you this was helpful
Why overcomplicate it. Just select "domain join" - it creates a local account
why my keyboard is not working when i use shift+f10 its working and after that in the window i can not type anything . tested with many devices .
Thank you for the tip
Is it work for windows 11 home?
Can anyone explain why not signing in is a better option?
Cheers mate!
Thank you!!!
this will save some wear and tear on the old ethernet cable, also Hotmail 😂
Didn't know that but you can just use the Set up for School Domain and click local account that way too.thats what i do every time
The video didnt work for me but your is just fine thanks mate
setting up computers from lenovo, this doesn't work sometimes, so I do this:
1 - don't plug into ethernet, don't get on wifi
2 - shift + F10 to bring up cmd / terminal
3 - click into new window
4 - type in " oobe\bypassnro " and hit enter
computer should restart, and it should show you " i dont have internet " and " make offline account " etc
Some reason it doesnt work for me
Thanks man.
God bless you!
Thank you
Not working anymore 😢😢😢😢💔
Simple Fix, just pull out the network cable :-)
You're gonna have to convince me why I should upgrade to Windows 11 first.
ehh not trying to convince you but it really is not that bad. I noticed nothing too crazy that was a huge leap from 10. I don't like how the network settings are all in that settings view though. Kinda anoyying.
Comes in handy later when Windows 10 isn't supported anymore which is next year I believe. But yeah, sticking with 10 until then.
Don't do it unless you have to... but many people who get new laptops and such will be greeted with this on first boot.
@@teksyndicateif people have a bootable usb with a better OS ready, there's no issue. Maybe that would make a better tutorial?
there are a number of features and hardware support exclusive to WIn11, plenty of reasons why if you have hardware that can benefit and want to use the features
I find it fascinating that Microsoft instructs me to reset Windows before selling my PC, then immediately forces me to log in to my online Microsoft account, creating an online user which is then tied to the Windows installation.
They offer no instructions how to proceed from there and, I have to turn to clever and helpful people on youtube to find this solution which they have intentionally hidden.
What is going on?
Im new to windows. I have a ASUS laptop with windows 11 pro. When I reinstall windows, will i still have the pro version or the home instead ?
I can't stand W11. Staying on 10 until I am forced to switch.
Good idea. Same... however, my streaming/capture PC refused to install security updates this week... I wasted a whole day troubleshooting then just upgraded to W11 out of desperation... and it all works perfectly now. I wonder if they were trying to force the upgrade.
@@teksyndicate Hi Syndicate, i was wondering if you could tell me where you get your custom dark start buttons from?
You need it if you have intel 12th gen or newer.
W10 is bad too to be fair
not working anymore, account is forced now.
How about the other method a@a.com?
I'll test this tomorrow to see what's up
sometimes it works and sometimes not, its wierd@@teksyndicate
Doesn't work
I'll look into this... see what's changed in the latest update
WHY DID YOU REMOVE YOUR WINDOWS 7 CUSTOMOZATION SKIN 😢😢
This could've been an email.
😂😂😂
get one my mailing list!
Even better. Don't install spyware operating systems!
if you set language to English (World) it doesnt install 90% of the crapware
Or move to Linux :)
When are you going to marry and have kids?
What kind of dumb question is that?
@@DM-rc4yu it's a meme boomer question
Windows acts more like spyware every release. F them.
