My favourite part of the Mask is how no one reacts to him being a living cartoon. He sent a woman into a tornado spin for crying out loud and all the crowd is just looking at him thinking, "Wow he knows how to dance."

There was also an animated series based on the movie & that one was just as great & funny as the movie, definitely worth a watch.

Jim is in Dirty Harry The Deadpool with Clint Eastwood but it's before these films.
This movie was filmed before "Ace Ventura - Pet Detective" but because of the special effects it came out after. Since Jim Carrey was basically a nobody at first his pay for it was quite modest (low), but after Ace Ventura did so well he was able to renegotiate his contract for The Mask before it was released and made a lot more money. "Liar Liar" is another Jim Carrey movie you should see, after "Ace Ventura" (there are two of them).
Was once my fav movie and deffo fav actor. I even took masked Jim character on myself to say fuck you bullies 😅🤣They got so confused and decided I was to weird to bully hahaha. Actually true story here 🤩😚

It was great watching you enjoy this so much! If you haven't watched it yet, _"Last Action Hero"_ was another excellent movie with *lots* of comedy, as well as action! You definitely should watch it! *Enjoy!*
(At 7:48) I wonder if the mask was based off of Taz the Tasmanian devil considering there are two cameos with Taz on this movie. Well one Cameo appearance and a call back. The Cameo appearance would probably be the "Taz pillow" on his couch. Call back to Taz would be how the Mask's rapid movements and transformation using Taz's signature cyclone.
A lot of people said their funniest moment of the movie was when Milo wore the mask to successfully scare off one of the villains. However, my funniest part was when Dorian (which was also one of the villains) puts on the mask and then dodges all of the bullets fired at him. Then all of those bullets he dodged that he charged up in his mouth comes shooting out of his mouth as a way of killing the main mobster. Also the evil sinister laugh Dorian lets out after killing that main mobster was great.
🎭As I remember it, JC was already well known from TV's "In Living Color" and a lot of his stand-up. You could say everyone was anticipating something like "The Mask" to come out so he could showcase his true talents. The movie was tailored made for him or rather he was tailor made for it. I guess both, but the film we know today would not have been made if it were not for him. 🎭And boy, oh boy ...did he ever show us the true comic genius he was and still to come! Like Robin Williams, he will always be known as one of a kind. I knew you would love it! And as usual ...I enjoyed it with you. 🎭Thanks❗😂🤗🤯🤪😵🥴🥶🤣
I think I recall Jim Carey saying he's not a fan of doing sequels. In fact the Ace Ventura franchise is the only time I can think of him reprising a role... and he just did one sequel for that.
@@FrancoisDressler I forgot he did Dumb & Dumber. I hadn't seen it though it was the 3rd movie right? I think the 2nd movie had different actors. Anyway, though I think he might do a Sonic sequel his track record for doing sequels is pretty low.
@@dave6270 He said in the 90s that he didn't want to do sequels because he didn't think there was anywhere to take most of his characters after the first film and he'd be bored doing the same thing again. Ace was the exception (because he found the character so fun to play) for about the next twenty years.
This movie is completely crazy. "Je t'adore. Je t'adore. Je t'a window... I don't care." So here's a multilingual pun. I'm not sure how you could possibly understand this joke without being able to speak at least a little bit of BOTH English and French. Here's an explanation, if you don't know enough French to see the weird joke they are making. "Je t'adore" is French for "I love you". Because the French word "adore" sounds like "a door" in English, he says "Je t'a WINDOW". "Je t'adore. Je t'a door. Je t'a window... I don't care." This is the kind of cheesy, weird-ass joke I like.
Oh, no, Magy. Jim Carrey had been well known for _years_ before _this_ movie came along. He first came to the attention of the mainstream American public with a weekly sketch comedy show called _In Living Color._ It was along the same lines as _Saturday Night Live,_ except the episodes were only about half an hour. It also launched the acting careers of several members of the Wayans family, Jamie Foxx, Kim Coles, Thomas Davidson and David Alan Grier as well as the _dancing_ careers of Rosie Perez and Jennifer Lopez.
".. and today I'm gonna watch da mosque".. is what ~I~ heard.. and.. even if I knew she was talking about "The mask" rather than "The mosque" I STILL started to wonder how she'd react to.. actually watching the AWESOME sitcom from Canada called "The little Mosque on the prairie".. in MY mind it would absolutely be the series that deserves the short-hand epithet "Da Mosque"-
If you didn't know, The Mask is based on a comic book. The comic was not quite as silly as the movie and there were a number of people who wore the mask, not just Stanley.

The Mask was MEANT for this channel & to be reacted to by YOU. Been envisioning this for a longtime. This was the golden reaction to this movie. 🌟
19:46 I also feel same way when character is in an embarrassing situation =D
The Mask with Jim Carrey used to be on all the time since I was a kid in my past since many years ago and it was completely hilarious.
Aww, I Love your Awesome Reaction Magy😁🤗🤗🤧
Was once my fav movie and deffo fav actor. I even took masked Jim character on myself to say fuck you bullies 😅🤣They got so confused and decided I was to weird to bully hahaha. Actually true story here 🤩😚
They really don't make them like they used to 😂😂😂 great reaction Magy 😃
One of the filmcomedians of the 90s.
One of the best dogactors of the 90s
One of the best comedies of the 90s.
Early second of 35:08. This is her reaction in shortcut to this movie xD
"Smoking it's party time P.A.R.T WHY because I gonna" I couldn't stop laughing either when I first watched The Mask this film also marks Cameron Diaz film debut
This takes me back to child. I love this movie. Jim is amazing actor.
"Can't make the scene if you don't have the green"
- The Mask
It was great watching you enjoy this so much! If you haven't watched it yet, _"Last Action Hero"_ was another excellent movie with *lots* of comedy, as well as action! You definitely should watch it!
*Enjoy!*
God, an underrated Carrey classic that doesn't get enough is "Me, Myself, and Irene", that movie is so funny. I think you'd enjoy it.
If you want to laugh then you should watch “rush hour “
And be sure to watch the after credits scene
A lot of people said their funniest moment of the movie was when Milo wore the mask to successfully scare off one of the villains. However, my funniest part was when Dorian (which was also one of the villains) puts on the mask and then dodges all of the bullets fired at him. Then all of those bullets he dodged that he charged up in his mouth comes shooting out of his mouth as a way of killing the main mobster. Also the evil sinister laugh Dorian lets out after killing that main mobster was great.
You have the cutest smile in the planet.
I wish you the best and much success for your channel 🌺
Got to love the movie logic. There can NOT be two pajamas with the same fabric. When clothing are made, they only make one style and fabric of each.
Love this movie, sad we didn’t get a sequel with Jim Carey. Still an Amazing Movie👍
I think I recall Jim Carey saying he's not a fan of doing sequels. In fact the Ace Ventura franchise is the only time I can think of him reprising a role... and he just did one sequel for that.
@@dave6270 I'm sure he regrets the Dumb & Dumber sequel.
@@ThomasWilliamsMusik he was mostly on point about sequels. Besides Ace and Dumb and Dumber, Carry doesn't really do sequels
29:16 That is a _well-trained dog._ And no, I'm not talking about the _character._ I'm talking about the _actor._
This movie is completely crazy.
"Je t'adore.
Je t'adore.
Je t'a window... I don't care."
So here's a multilingual pun.
I don't care."
This is the kind of cheesy, weird-ass joke I like.
That's because this was a dark horse comic book. Even the cartoon series on cartoon network made my entire childhood awesome
You probably might not see this but what did you think of the scene with the mask made Tina carlyles shoes fly off
15:33 LOL your reaction 😂
The mask... My favorite variant of Loki.
Cameron Diaz hit Hollywood hard with this role.
His dog is a Jack Russell terrier. They are probably the smartest breed. 😁
Your reaction is too precious 😂 I’m at work enjoying this video hehe.
".. and today I'm gonna watch da mosque".. is what ~I~ heard.. and.. even if I knew she was talking about "The mask" rather than "The mosque" I STILL started to wonder how she'd react to.. actually watching the AWESOME sitcom from Canada called "The little Mosque on the prairie".. in MY mind it would absolutely be the series that deserves the short-hand epithet "Da Mosque"-
oh geez .. you are picking some wonderful things to react... lOL.. your face is wonderful, you are so genuine. TY FOR THIS ♥
I Love Magy’s Reaction So Much and She’s So Pretty!
"There's Always Time!!".... one last kiss" 🤣😂
"You love me , you really love me", is a spoof on sally field"s weird oscar speech even though she never actually said it
If you didn't know, The Mask is based on a comic book. The comic was not quite as silly as the movie and there were a number of people who wore the mask, not just Stanley.
Jesus Christ this movie is bringing some childhood memories.
Cameron Diaz was unreal beautiful.
