We got no food, we got no jobs, our pets HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!
Okay, Okay. Could you calm down?
It be like that
Lloyd: I sold some stuff to Billy....in 4C
Harry: WHAT did U sell him Lloyd?
Lloyd: Stuff
Harry: What kind of stuff
Lloyd: Idk, a few baseball cards, a sack of marbles....."cough" Petey
Harry: PETEY!!!......U sold my dead bird to a BLIND KID!!!😂🤣😂🤣
@@BlackFire901 Harry: Petey didn’t even have a head!
Lloyd: I took care of it.
Yeah...he was pretty old...
What a year 1994 was for comedy! "Ace Ventura", "The Mask" AND "Dumb and Dumber" were all released that year and Jim Carred was the lead actor in all of them. That blows my mind everytime I think about. Talk about having a successful year.
Plus Ace Ventura 2 and Batman Forever in '95. 2 of the best years for Jim.
In 2003 Jim Carrey played GOD in Bruce Almighty, while someone else played HIM in Dumb and Dumberer. What a year.
He was great in the past. Now he is just a nutcase.
Jim Carrey certainly was great in this movie, but I'm surprised that Jeff Daniels doesn't get more recognition. This role is not typical for him, and he does a great job too!
You're so cute 😍 love the reactions lol
Jeff Daniel's completely dominated this movie, outperformed Carrey, who was quite mediocre, actually.
Great movie! Still as funny as it was during the 1990s
I think it’s cause Jeff Daniels has had a long career where he was in bigger movies and he tends to be thought of for those movies first
You kidding? While Jeff wasn’t naturally hilarious, he still has comedic timing. The pee in a bottle reaction is classic.
who says jeff daniels was underapriaciated in this movie ?he was PRAISED HIGHLY for his role here.
Fun fact: the scene where Lloyd asks if Harry and Mentalino wanted to hear the most annoying sound in the world, it was completely improv, hence u can see Harry's face was genuine.
So many Legendary moments are created when Carrey forgets his lines.
@@gorevarix4036 Indeed - Liar, Liar has some of the best outtakes I've seen.
I know, it was awesome right?
Mental's annoyance, too
@@dustyb58 Yeah, it was a little bit of both. That's what made that scene awesome!
When your bird is so old his head just falls off naturally 🤣😂
One story about this movie is that the script originally had them getting on the bus with the models at the end, but Jim Carrey insisted on them remaining true to their characters, doing the dumb thing and not getting their happy ending. Anyways, love your reaction, Magy. You always seem to get into the spirit of the movies you watch.
Harry and Lloyd not getting on the bus shows how dumb Harry and Lloyd are.
The greatest most painful ending ever!
@@LN-Lifer Yeah, U still get 'pissed off' at them for that...
Fun fact: The guy he hit with the salt shaker is Cam Neely. Easily one of the toughest hockey players in the history of the sport.
Back in the 1980s when hockey fights happened all the time guys on the other team literally wouldn’t fight him cuz it was basically a guaranteed ass whooping.
The toilet scene still makes me laugh so hard! Close your eyes and just listen. The sound department must have had a great time! 😂🚽
this was actually a student project. 12 students, a microphone, Mexican food and a lot of toiletpaper :)
You know what the best part is? Clint Eastwood told Jeff Daniels that the same thing happened to him.
I’m surprised people find it funny since it’s toilet humor at its peak
Funniest scene ever..." I desperately want to make love to a school boy"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Even after all these years, still cracks me up.
My favorite comedy of all time! My friends and I have been quoting it for the last 25+ years 🤣
Me too 🤣
Have you ever watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas?? If you haven't you MUST. One of my favorite Jim Carrey roles 🔥🔥
‘Tis the season!
Great flick
What a movie! I'll never forget that scene with the cop and the bottle of piss.🤣😂🤣
One of the funniest scenes in film history
Harry: tic tac sir
Cop: GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!
Magys Reaction and facial Expressions Were Priceless I could watch her Forever 😂
Same And Her Laugh and Smile is My Favorite Thing About Her During Her Reactions!
True
not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly (Mary) got married a few years after this was released. They had met when she auditioned for Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and then grew close while filming Dumb and Dumber. They got divorced less than a year later though.
I love seeing how much Magy loved the movie, the joy it gave her. Precious and priceless.
True
Dumb and Dumber is a classic. One of the funniest movies ever made.
One of my favorite stories from this movie, comes from Jeff Daniels himself. Jeff is mostly a serious actor, with no real comedy skills (As he claims) and Jim Carrey insisted when picking who should play Harry, that is can't be another comedian, because that would just be 2 people trying to 1 up each other. So he wanted someone with almost no comedy skills, and told Jeff to simply play off the things Jim was doing. Jeff says without Jim to react to, he didn't really have the confidence to do a comedy before this, since he tends to focus mainly on more serious roles.
He's "the straight man".
And it was Harry's laxative misadventure that had me laughing hardest in the theatre... Laughing until it hurt. Daniels was brilliant! 😂
@@countgeekula9143
Ikr......the force from his projectile bowel movement caused his feet to come off the floor 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@Deathbird_Mitch His sexuality doesn't matter.
@Fluffy Little Bear Are you trying to be funny or implying Jim Carrey is gay?
I think you summed up the whole movie perfectly “they are always at the wrong place at the wrong time”(20:37)
2:23 FYI, Aspen is in Colorado (in the Rocky Mountains), not California.
Then Harry mistakenly believes it's in France. "I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes".
I love this movie since I was a little kid. A lot of people might see this as just a silly movie without realizing how smart you have to be to make a great silly movie.
Kinda like how hard it is to write a catchy pop song even if the song itself is fairly simple.
Me too.
Yep comedy series/movies are not that respected like drama or action, dont know why But It takes a lot of talent to make a genuinelly funny movie/series that can have impact on different generations
@@diegosotomiranda4107 yea I like Sandler and Carrey movies a lot they are goofy but they create a whole atmosphere and world of good vibes in their films.
The Cable Guy (1996); Liar Liar (1997); Bruce Almighty (2003); For something Jim Carrey did which is a bit more serious try The Truman Show (1998)
The Flo reference was to Alice (TV Series 1976-1985). Flo was a waitress that would frequently say, "Kiss my grits!" or "When donkeys fly!"
"I didn't even see it coming" is one of my all-time favorite jokes in any movie.
This movie has two sequels... you're probably better off not watching them, but if you wanna!
2002 film is a prequel but we don't talk about that farce of a film.
Lloyd: So Where you heading
Mary: Aspen
Lloyd: MMMM California..
LLLOOOLLLLL LMAO
This movie has so many good one liners.
Lol loved your reactions to this movie! Another all-time comedy to watch: "There's Something About Mary" with Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz.
Just be warned, though. There are some really offensive moments in that film. They use the R word a few times.
This is an absolute comedy gem. perhaps the best comedy ever made.
Yes. There are 2 scenes that make that movie a riot. The "Frank and Beans" scene in the bathroom. Second, is the "hair gel" scene where Mary wipes Ben's baby batter in her hair and it sticks up throughout their date. LOL
@@trhansen3244 TBF, it's used to establish how much of a sleazeball the character who says it is.
1 of the best comedies of all time. Can re-watch this movie anytime and still laugh.
My favorite part is when they pick up the hitch hiker AKA BAD GUY and they drive him nuts singing and playing tag 😂😂😂😂😂
This is one of my favorite reaction videos. I could tell that your reactions were in genuine shock and humor. This movie never gets old.
I also remember the guy who played Sea Bass is Cam Neely who played for the hockey team Boston Bruins from 1986 to 96, he’s now the president of the Boston Bruins team
I didn't know Seabass became the president of the team until now.
Me, Myself, and Irene (2000) is another one of Carrey's movies that doesn't get talked about enough. It's arguably the darkest comedy he's starred in and it's friggin hilarious.
Yes, but Cable Guy was much darker.
This is and always has been one of my favorite movies i first saw it when i was 5 and my dad didnt know it would be that fucked up and we watched the entire thing💀
Especially after the rubber dildo scene..😅😅
Cable Guy
Cable Guy is also rather dark as well.
*Magy's* laugh is adorable but I've never seen her facepalm🤦🏻♀️so many times before...lol😆
I've watched this movie COUNTLESS times since it came out. I know every word and I still laugh just as hard today as I did the first time I saw it. Hysterical!
36:54 how the smile went away real fast and replaced by a look of disbelief ....... perfection. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Magic Magy your smile and laugh are so contagiously beautiful keep up the good work!
True. She’s very beautiful
Another great reaction Magy! This was a great movie and one of my introductions to Jim Carrey. I highly recommend Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and Me, Myself and Irene. You get some more laughs with those.
Keep up the great work!
You can literally watch this movie over and over again and each time you will notice a new joke it’s just that well done
It’s so funny how he didn’t even know what kind of soup but said it sounds good. lol
Yes!!! More Jim Carrey "The Mask" Was the first movie I seen him in and this was next🤣 "Ah Samsonite! I was way off" Great reaction 🤘
Ib the diner scene when Harry called the waitress "Flo" he was referring to an old American sitcom from the late 70s/early 80s entitled "Alice". Flo was a sassy waitress working in Mel's Diner - her catchphrase was "Kiss my grits!" 😆
"I hate goodbyes" Which I still say to this day 😜
Dumb & Dumber is a childhood film for me. Great Choice
The scene where they give that cop a bottle of alcohol, which was not alcohol, was hilarious! They ask him, "Tic Tac, Sir?" The cop says, "Get the hell out of here." Lol! They both drive off with disgusted looks on their faces.
@Magic Magy Once Again I Can’t Get Enough of Your Smile and Laugh Magy It’s Too Cute!
True. She’s the cutest person I’ve ever seen
"You'd keep your mouth SHUT if you knew what was good for ya, buddy!"
(Drinks urine)
"Tic Tac, sir?"
"Get the hell outta here!"
Great reaction Magy!!! I remember everyone laughing so much when I first saw this in the theater. One of the funniest movies!!! I love your laughter!!
This is definitely one to meet your laugh quota. After seeing how much you liked 'Airplane' I figured you'd also like this one. Always lovely to see you laugh!
This is bringing back my childhood. 2:21 is probably the most adorable "smart-ass" I've heard lol
Other Jim great movies are:
Bruce Almighty
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
The Truman Show
Number 23
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Yes Man
Me, Myself, and Irene is a good rated-R Jim Carrey comedy.
The fact that this movie is over 25 years old and still absolutely hilarious, is just another testament of how talented Jim Carrey is as an actor!! Still one of his best movies!
34:33 "Harry! You're alive! And you're a _horrible shot!"_
😄 Heh heh heh heh heh.
34:46 "She--she grabbed me down in the lobby and explained what was up, then they slapped this bullet-proof vest on me and gave me a gun."
"But what if he shot you in the face?"
One of the most reasonable questions that _never ever gets asked._
"What if he shot me in the face?"
"That's a risk we were willing to take."
🤦 And that's why.
This is my favorite reaction to this movie, Magy's smile and laugh are better than therapy. Since you liked this one, I highly recommend 2 other movies directed by the same brothers that did this movie: Me, Myself, and Irene (starring Jim Carrey) and There's Something About Mary.
The diner scene, when he called the waitress Flo, was a reference to a 70s sitcom with a waitress named Flo. The last scene has to leave you thinking 🤔. Which one was dumb and which one was dumber.
Harry: Dumb
Lloyd: Dumber.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jim Carrey was the go-to guy for comedy in the 90s but now he's just a nutcase.
Jim Carrey refused to shoot an alternate ending of Harry and Lloyd getting on the bus with the Hawaiian Tropic girls.
The best Jim Carrey movie, IMHO is "Ace Ventura: When nature calls" (1995) I think you already did watch part 1
Cheers 😊
Ace Ventura When Nature Calls is my favorite too. Jim Carrey at his funniest.
31:56 jajajajajajaja
The movie was a hit because of Jeff Daniels's acting and his likable character. I recommend you see the sequel Dumb and Dumber Too. Another great comedy is The Three Amigos (1986) starring Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Chevy Chase.
Hell no, I would not recommend Dumb and Dumber too.
Love this movie ! This is one of the best comedies of the '90s and one of Jim's best. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😎
Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly (Mary) started seeing each other in real life after making this film, and they were married two years later, but it only lasted for less than a year.
Jim Carrey is my all time favorite Actor along with Adam Sandler and Robin Williams may he R.I.P
Me Myself and Irene is my favorite Jim Carrey comedy after Dumb and Dumber.
But also, if you're interested in him in a slightly more serious movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of the best movies ever. Also The Truman Show is another fantastic Carrey film
Great reactiona Magy. I always preferred Cable Guy and Me, Myself & Irene to this one though.
Jim Carrey has some amazing drama work too like Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - one of the best romance & best movies ever imo.
Jim Carrey actually had the chip in his tooth already and got it fixed after the movie was done cause it suited him perfect for the role and his character. The other actor they had to do many takes with him to see if he was good enough.
I guarantee that Dumb and Dumber Movies are so completely hysterical and they really crack me up!!!!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!! 😃😁😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😆😆😆😆
Your laugh is one of the cutest sounds ever. 💞
Agreed and Magy Has The Sweetest Smile Ever Too Besides Her Laugh!
@@vinceniedermanso true
29:55 I remember, _this_ scene provided the fodder for _many_ jokes.
Liar Liar and Me Myself and Irene = Harder laughters until you wheeze.. The latter will probably gross you out more than Sea Bass spitting on the burger scene.
Jim Carrey is the only actor to come out with 3 movie hits in 1994 ACE VENTURE: PET DETECTIVE, DUMB AND DUMBER & THE MASK
If you wonder what language the 3rd bikini girl was talking, it's swedish. She just said "hello everybody" and "goodbye". She later became a "Hollywood wife" and was married to Paul Anka. There is a sequel, which is suprisingly not bad, but it's not as great and memorable as the 1st movie. But it's certainly better than the prequel Dumb and Dumberer. And of course, can't wait to see your reaction to Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls =)
There's a few movies in history when the stars align and everything comes together beautifully, the writing, the actors, the time period, the soundtrack....this is one of those few movies I think this will forever be my number 1 comedy of all time
The toilet scene was my favorite part 😂😂😂
I noticed your confusion expression in the diner scene when the waitress walks by, and Lloyd looks up and says, "Hi Flo." That is an old reference to the Sitcom called Alice, where one of the waitresses that resembled the one in the movie, was named Flo. She made a catch phrase that became super popular, "Kiss My Grits." I wouldn't expect many of the younger folks to catch that either since the show first aired in 1976.
And ran from then to 1985 on CBS (all of it is out on MOD from Warner Archive).
@@bmasters1981 I think I remember reruns of it playing on E! in the mid 90s, but I was a kid then and paid zero attention to the show.
Great reaction Magy, thanks. Such a funny and silly movie, my sides were hurting from laughing so much the first time I saw this
You just can't contain a guy like Jim! Many of his best scenes are improvised and memorable lines are often completely spontaneous. Remember the "most annoying sound in the world" from this film? You could probably tell this wasn't in the script by the genuinely horrified look on Jeff Daniel's face as Jim leans over and lets him hear it. It was off the cuff in typical Carrey style. And in the bar scene in Aspen, the line "No way... that's great. We've landed on the moon!" was also made up by Jim right on the spot when he saw the framed newspaper.
Some say Jim hasn't taken any dramatic roles lately due to the poor box-office performance of his previous ones. But apparently, he will only perform in a movie that has a completely positive message. He has struggled with depression, and due to his own personal belief system doesn't want to project anything negative.
Greetings from New Jersey Maggy. Hope you’re spending the holidays well. Loved how quickly your facial reaction changed at 34:16 when you thought Harry was really shot. Hilarious 😆. Keep up the good work with your channel. 💕❤️🥰
Someone eventually had to find Harry’s intestinal exorcism in the broken toilet and get it fixed 😂
I wish I was like them, they are always like the happiest guys in the world over everything :D
missed ur laugh, needed a smile today and it is hard not to when seeing u smile :)
Great movie. The best Jim Carry comedy.
2:10 "Why you goin' to the airport? Flyin' somewhere?"
🤦 Oof.
"How did you guess?"
"I saw your luggage."
🤦 Oof.
"Then when I noticed the airline ticket, I put two and two together."
🤦 Oof.
"So where you headed?"
"Aspen."
"Mmm. California."
😳 Wow. Uh, no.
So you’re telling me there is a chance? Yes!!
I’m only less than a third way through this, but I have to say I’m loving so much the nearly constant smile on your face! 🥰 Bringing me so much joy! This is one of my favorite movies. I know it is absolutely ridiculous, but it really stands out as a break from slapstick bs to thoughtful mindlessness! I know that the last part of that sentence was a double negative in some ways, but not here, not in this case! 🙂Thank you for this reaction! I really appreciate it!
After this movie, she actually married Jim Carrey for real. Could you imagine waking up to that dude every morning?!
Hey, Magy. I enjoyed this movie a lot. It was very funny. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were actually hilarious, and Lauren Holly was so glamorous. Although, the flatulence jokes does get too much, except the other jokes were good. Anyway, it was a really goofy, wisecracking film. Thumbs up for me on "Dumb and Dumber".
Dumb and Dumber (1994) 3/4 👍👍
A buddy of mine saw the actual Dog car last month. It was on a trailer being taken somewhere. It was in Arizona. Its still a prop making its rounds lol. Pretty cool when I saw him post the picture.
Liar Liar was my favorite movie with Jim Carry, you should watch it :)
"OUR PET'S HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!!!!" ...... 🤣🤣🤣
FYI ... The most annoying sound was an adlib by Jim Carrey. The guy is hilarious.
Thank you Magy for this reaction video. I enjoyed watching you enjoying the movie as much as I do.
The salt shaker scene of Sea Bass (Cam Neely, of Bruins Hockey) he says after the Movie production that when he played Hockey the other teams fans would yell, 'kick his ass sea bass!" Jay Leno late time tv host asked Jim Carrey about his up an coming project and when Jim replied Dumb and Dumber Leno couldn't stop laughing while Jim was still carrying a conversation but Leno couldn't move on repeating Dumb and Dumber and just laughing over and over along with the tv audience. Best movie ending ever that got everyone..."you'll have to excuse my friend, he's a little slow...the town is back that way!"
Well to me Jim Carrey's best movies are:
- The Truman Show
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Sonic The Hedgehog
You prefer Sonic over Ace Ventura, The Mask, Dumber and Dumber, Liar Liar, Me, Myself and Irene and Cable Guy???
@@BadDubII Yes. I know he has some good comedies. But as performances go, I enjoyed his Dr. Robotnik performance.

Hey, Magy! Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies of all time! Thank you for your reaction to this movie! It never fails to make me laugh! Nice Christmas tree in the background to!
A lot of people don't realize Jim Carrey and Mary were married in real life. They both worked at the Chicago Improv Symphony in the 80s but later divorced after he started dating Courtney Cox.
Magy's face at 31:57 and then that burst of laughter 😂
This was great, haven't watched it a long time. More comedy reactions please 😄

One of my favorite movies ever! Since you are watching different types of movies now, maybe watch one of Audrey Hepburn’s older movies since you look so much like her when she was younger. It would be like her reincarnation watching and reacting to herself, might be fun!
You should also watch there’s something about Mary.
I watched this many times I enjoy your authentic reactions
