This video hit home today. I had a freak crash on my commute about 6 weeks ago and after waiting for the body to heal and some new parts to come in, this week was my first back in the saddle too. Just as the weather is starting to cool and shift seasons. It's sooo good.
I feel the same about cycling with a purpose. Adding a little adventure to the mundane is fuel for the soul. This summer was my first foray into bikepacking which is a blast and checks that box. Hoping to do some bigger trips next season.

Good day josh , I enjoyed your video, the first one I watched earlier you said that your bike was size 54. I live in Spain and Kona is not a well known brand here apparently (which is a shame), I'm struggling to find a shop that sells their bikes. I can only get one online but the problem is that I'm not sure which size I need. I looked at their website but it wasn't clear to me. I'm 180cm tall which is 5'9 `in American I believe´. I'm hesitating between size 54 & 56!! what's your experience on that ? Thank you in advance
It’s really hard saying which one will fit you best… bodies are so different and when it comes to fit in bike you can’t really go just by height… I’m 5ft11 and the 54 fits me great ! I do however have a shorter inseam at around 31inches. I hope this helps.

They are relatively short 4 miles each way. Which is kind of a sweet spot when the weather changes! Cheers!
