Oh, I hope you post a video for us all when you finish your build. 🙏 leave me a link if you do . Thanks so much for watching and commenting ❤️ have a awesome week, and good luck with the build
Hell yeah, very cool surf at your spot very strong offshore wind tho haha. i've seen a french youtuber with a diy foildrive he had the battery on a backpack i think that the best way to reduce the weight on the board, from what he told me the wire is strong enough to act as a leash. interesting video as always
Thanks so much. I don't know if I'd use lead as a leash lol bit you never know interesting concepts. We are lucky to have so many different conditions always something to do on the water 💧. Good winds bro 💪
HELL YEAH! those waves up front were sweet! as were the ones in the middle. and foil drive... I know as soon as I get one I will use it more and more and I think it'll replace the winging in my life... I'm not ready for that yet! thank god they are too expensive. and the I watch this video and realize I could make one for a 1/5th of the retail... dude!! dilemma dilemma. good winds to you bud, talk soon.
HELL YEAH!!! Another foil-brain here! Always looking for ways to improve! Slow learning curve here, still working on the tack..... I also got a selfmade pump board and a dock start launcher in the shed, no progress yet after 3 sessions..... tried tow-pumping, tried sup foiling, tried sup winging, so much to do and so little time after 50! I skipped the downwind hipe since I won the Golden Ticket Hipe Pro 5.1 not long ago. Looking into a little more speed and glide now with a V2 foil, less area, about the same low end. I got rid of my old-school windsurfing stuff and will not buy a canoe or kayak, Wing Foiling it is! Weekend warrior! Dutch Marras! May the foil be with you!
Haha, brilliant, same as my journey. I work loads to pay for gear, so get in 2 times a week or so, and very slow progress for me as well but it's all so much fun and very rewarding 😀 Very lucky win . Which of the v2 wings did you go for and size for your weight . Good winds buddy
I still wonder why so many people take to those weird things. Must be the challenge or something. To my mind there´s nothing like a powerjoint without a foil. Proper windsurfing.
Defanatly about the challenge and the reward you get, I love watersports and each one has its pros .The more options you have, the better imo . We were saying that today, foiling is generally not a spectator Sport sometimes it looks daft but it feels amazing . Thanks so much for watching and commenting ❤️
@@christomo I was a windsurfer from about 1982 till a few years ago when I had to quit due to health reasons. Was the best thing for me by far. Love it.

HELL YEAH! I am currently making the DIY version of the foil drive myself. Foil Zone is so loaded with info, that it's overwhelming.
