Okay, I finished cooking this roast at 11:30 a.m. today. I couldn't wait for it to rest before I pinched a piece off. It is sooo good! Omg. So my dad was from Southwest Louisiana and he was a great cook. He would stuff his pork roast with garlic and it came out pretty darn good. But, after watching this video I am going to have to go out and get a pork roast just to try it. (As well as a roasting pan with the V grill). This looks SO amazing. I prepared/started marinating this on a Friday night and cooked it with my husband Sunday morning. This was so delicious!! It reminded me and my husband of when he makes a porchetta. It was juicy and so flavorful!! I got a 9.5 lb pork roast a year ago for $14 that had been sitting in the deep freezer all this time. Im so glad we found this video just in time. So delicious!!

I’m making this for dinner this Sunday . I already season mine from Monday. I freeze it and I took it out the freezer from yesterday to defrost . I use all the seasoning you have except for one. Charlie - Great video as always. You must have ESP. I was looking at a 6 to 8 lb. Boston Butt in the store last week and was wondering what the bestway to prepare it? Well, you gave me the answer. The only thing that I will do differently is I would use my large needle marinade injector instead of cutting slits and filling with a piping bag. Stay safe ion these strange times!

Charlie - Great video as always. You must have ESP. I was looking at a 6 to 8 lb. Boston Butt in the store last week and was wondering what the bestway to prepare it? Well, you gave me the answer. The only thing that I will do differently is I would use my large needle marinade injector instead of cutting slits and filling with a piping bag. Stay safe ion these strange times!
