      I wish this was safe - but then I’m still in healing’ mode.
      Do Tell me where the beef you mentioned is? I don’t believe that the highly processed meat based collagen is a safe MEAT & Fats food.
      I wonder what the manufacturers ingredients are?
      It’s sad but true all sweets are harmful as are many products not simply meat & fats as Anita knows well.
      Stevia & all of its type caused my tongue to erode on the edges, into scalloped edges with tongue divisions.

    Wow Anita! Those cookies look amazing! I want to try Equip protein powder. That is a game changer! I shouted out your channel along with some others on Meaty Mondays with the Fierce FeLions yesterday for people to check out if they are feeling bored on the Carnivore or Keto diet. With all of these wonderful recipes, how can anyone be bored?

  • @smiling4u2

    I have been on carnivore but I do have carnivore desserts as I don't have any issues with dairy and I understand my results might be slower because of that but it is what's keeping me on track and the I am enjoying all the other benefits aside from weight loss . And maybe later I will eliminate or lessen how often I have those things but for now that's what I'm doing. With that said , I did have some chocolate chips made with stevia and others with monk fruit. I have tried making keto desserts with the different flours and I don't do well with those and I have also tried egg white protein and didn't care for the results but I never would have thought of using beef protein powder to bake so thank you for this because I happen to have a vanilla bone broth powder and I made two mini Bundt Cakes instead of the cookies and it is absolutely delicious and the consistency is soft and fluffy and fudgy! 😊

      Hi @smiling4u2 Can you post your bundt cake recipe? Have some b-days coming up.

    • @smiling4u2
      @smiling4u2 10 месяцев назад

      @@DebraR5598 hello, I had just doubled Anita's recipe and I did have to bake it longer than the cookies. I too like putting them in the refrigerator before eating them as she mentioned. I made the cookies and I have made brownies and I used the Dutch processed cocoa but I think that the regular cocoa might work better for the mini Bundt Cakes and I will try that next time . I think I would not put the chocolate chips in the bundt cakes next time. It may be that I had put too many and I don't know all the baking secrets but I thought that flour mixed with the chocolate chips keep them from floating to the bottom and I of course wasn't using flour so I am curious if I could have mixed them in the protein powder , I don't know. Those are the only two differences or considerations I would make for the cakes as opposed to the brownies or cookies if that makes sense. Now if you use a regular size bundt cake would you then triple the recipe, I don't know. These are just thoughts to throw around and practice before you make the successful one. LOL 😊

    Yum! Thank you ✨ I made some of Maria Emmerich’s cookies the other day and (reluctantly) included the peanut butter, so was on the hunt for a recipe that was truly animal based. I went a bit rogue 🤣 and did a *little*!bit of a mix from both recipes: I creamed softened buttter (rather than melted) with allulose (my preferred sweetener) and then added the other dry ingredients (I used choc Equip) and Gelatin instead of collagen and only did 2tbs pure cocoa powder and they were perfect! 🎉😅 Fudgy and well formed and held their shape. Thank you again x

    These look great! I just now doubled the recipe and thought I’d try as brownies. So they’re baking right now! I’ll let you know how it goes, but the batter tasted very good! OK, they’re done and cooled. I forgot to add the chocolate chips, so I made a ganache out of them and topped the brownies with it! They’re a little dry. I might have baked too long, but with the icing, they’re pretty good! Next time I might add an avocado to see if that makes it moister. 0:11 0:11 0:11

    Dear Anita, what a wonerful recipe. Since, I had everything on hand , I tried it. Although per your suggestions, I used Lakanto monkfruit sweetner, My cookies spread in the oven. They tasted awesome and the texture was chewee and soft inside. I really really enjoyed it so the batch I made today was 4x the recipe. I'm sure it won't last till next week. I wanted to pick your brain ,since you are so good at cooking and baking , if you have a remedy to avoid the spreading. I'm planning on using the same recipe with the peanut butter flavor and add some PB powder in it, since my husband is keto.. Thank you again for your amazing recipes.

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  11 месяцев назад +1

      If you are using the flavored protein powder, just leave out the sweetener and add enough PB powder to make the batter thick. THen it won't spread as much. It will still be sweet from the stevia in the protein powder.

      Just want to add that there is a Canadian🇨🇦 option to the US’s EQUIP brand. It is much cheaper than the price us Canadians 🇨🇦 have to pay for the EQUIP Brand, and which calculates out to 100$ CAD dollars for only 1.7 lbs even with the discount. The Cad option is $45 cad for 2.2lbs and it has no additives not even sweetener, plus offers free shipping to us as well. The brand is called canadianprotein. You can look it up since I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post the info link here.

I then looked up prime and it says its 21 grams. That's a big difference. Anyway I just pulled them out of the oven. They puffed up like a cake cookie then they flattened as they're cooling. I'm trying one while still warm and it's not dry, very moist and fudgey. So far so good 👍😊

    I tried these again this morning with vanilla Equip trying to make a snickerdoodle and peanut butter. Well, what I got was vanilla cookie leather, but dang it was good. I put peanut butter powder in the batter but I'm sure the Equip peanut butter would be much better. Not much of a peanut butter taste. Do you have a vanilla protein powder cookie?

    Does anyone know if I can sub Keto Chow 1:1 for Equip? I have lots of one, and none of the other. I'd also need a sub for collagen, if anyone knows of one. Thanks in advance! These cookies look delish!!

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  11 месяцев назад +1

      Do you have any powdered gelatin? That could sub for the collagen. Also if you use KetoChow you can probably not worry about the collagen as there are some ingredients in KC that help with the bulking up. I did make these cookies with KC and they do work, be sure to use un salted butter and don't add any salt, KC can be a little salty.

      Yeah, after being Carnivore for almost 5yrs...with a few "not so fun" oxalate dumpings, I'm wondering if I can just use the vanilla, using more protein powder in place of the cocoa powder for a gooey vanilla cookie...or maybe adding some flavorings. Think I'm going to try that.😊

      If using the powdered, bagged stevia, read the ingredients. Maltodextrin is #1 and is just another form of sugar. The only true, 100% stevia I have seen is in liquid form.
