We all have "clumsy days"!! I'm a nurse and I used to take care of twin babies. I'd have days when I couldn't hold on to anything... my son coined the phase "It's a don't pick up the babies day"... because I'd end up dropping them too!!! Luckily I never did!! 😂 Your Oeceolades looks great in that pot... hope it does better for you....
Have those exact pots use 4 African Violets , never thought 2 use 4 my maxillara Tenafloria New plant bought on Amazon, very healthy plant Want 2 keep in good shape. Have 3 vacant plant pots exactly like yours. VERY SMART of you 2 put orchid in. Thank U ❤
Thank you, I have a hard time repotting my orchids and with your bamboo stick trick I think it will make it a little easier for me. Your videos always seem to help me, even if there not what in looking for I find them very educating in different ways. I love your tray, I make huge messes too. No big deal. Lol
Whoop! Oeceolades are so fun, my Perrieri has 2 directions of growth this year and one step closer to maturing 😂 I hope the Max Ten bounces back quickly for you too 🤞
My max is outside in a humid, subtropical climate. Potted in 50/50 spaghnum/bark - and I still have to water it every other day like my mounted orchids! It is so thirsty. So far, so good, though. It doesn’t seem to be a heavy feeder, so weakly weekly.
wow there is not much root remaining , crossing my fingers ! your fish tanks are absolutely gorgeous too ^^ I'm really jealous ( just a little bit , you're doing such a wonderful work with orchids and fish tanks :) )
Love self watering for my climate here in S'ern Spain as well. Just in time with your tenuifolia 👍🏼👍🏼 🕊🕊😀 the spathulifera has grown exponentially, nice! Mine is still quite a ways off showing leaves of that size
That Maxillaria Tenuifolia looks super dehydrated, maybe pot it in full sphagnum moss since it's so thirsty? I also watched a video that says it needs a dry rest in the winter. It would be awesome to see you try salt water aquariums!
I always hear how easy Maxillaria tenuifolia are supposed to be, but I've killed one, and my current one has never thrived, and leaf tips are always dying back. I've tried different pot setups, fertilizing, not fertilizing .... I just can't seem to figure it out.
I’m seeing dehydration with my coconut orchid too, but the roots seem fine in the clear pot and I’ve not let the media dry out. Will keep an eye. It might just be draining its energy for the new growths/bulbs now the flowering is done? Unsure yet but that’s my assumption for now until o check it over the coming days / week to see any signs of improvement or decline.
Hi I have an oncidium globuliferum it has grown loads since I got it three years ago I've trained it over a hoop it has never flowered Each little plantlet has roots and bulbs not sure when it will flower I just wonder if you could help will each little plantlet flower if so when thankyou.
I was curious about something. REPOTME came out with their own slow-release fertilizer. So I bought it of course :D By just reading what is in it, What do you think about it? I know that you are unable to get their fertilizers. I am trying it out. It lasts for 4 months.
Hi, the optimal medium can vary depending on the grower's conditions, moss can be a very good medium for some. If you feel it was staying too wet in your environment, try a mix of bark chips and moss, or just bark chips and see how that goes for you ☺️
Here's an update on this pot! ruclips.net/video/BL085YNLZAQ/видео.html

I just got a mini alba one, I don’t know if he’s blooming size but I’m excited to see if he will bloom this summer

Oh Gosh thought you were going suggest removing all self watering 😲
I’m actively looking for the snake orchid where I live (Toronto, Canada). Fingers crossed one will be available soon!

I think I am behind on episodes, when did the ring on the finger appear? Congratulations
I have the same problem with my coconut orchid, but I think is going to bloom, If I repot it, would that mess up the flowering?
i clicked the link to your second channel but it says 404 not found - in the uk
I love your videos
Do you still have the other Maxillaria from Roger? How is it doing? Sorry about this one. Hopeful that it will pull through.

Hi, I think you are reffering to the MSU slow release right? It looks good to me! When they become available in Europe I'm definitely trying it! 😁
@@MissOrchidGirl Yes, that is what I am referring to. I will let you know how it goes. I just started using it 2 days ago 😁🙃
Link to backup channel didn’t work
Danny: "is 'wetted' a word?" , Me (a native English speaker): " IS IT?!?! I have no idea!" 😂

My phaelenopsis orchid has spider mites, anyone have any advice? :(
Search here. Danny has a couple of videos.
💚
I'm not on topic, however, How do you keep track or log all of your orchid information?
