I seriously LOVE how all your furry friends spend so much time with you both all over the property!! ............... and I could sit and watch all day what you are doing. Love it and THANK YOU
My Saturday morning fix from central Portugal. I take solace from nature, I am alone now since my life partner died just before Christmas, your weekly videos are always beautiful and uplifting ~ thank you.
Congratulations on 50K subscribers Carissa and Iwan. The spring flowers in your meadow are beautifully colourful, your land is looking lush, and bouncy, bouncy Diogo's leap over Frankie was spectacular!
The 50.000 K is so deserved, and you will have many more. Your channel is a joy to watch and so filled with personality. I look forward to a new video each saturday😊
Congratulations on reaching 50k, well done! Your farm is lovely, all your hard work is turning the land into a beautiful and productive haven for all life forms (excepting perhaps those venomous centipedes, they could move elsewhere...). It is absolutely frightening how ferociously the fresh green mimosa catches fire, I do so hope that one day you are able to acquire the mimosa infested land that is so close to your house.
I so look forward to my Saturday treat when I immerse myself in the delight of your video, smiling at the antics of the animals (Dioggo jumping over Frankie 😂😂) , calmed by the beauty of your land , marvelling at how you can create photographic masterpieces from simplest of views or objects, and admiring all the progress as it occurs ❤❤ until next week.. ..
I think by doing the land in sections, makes it harder to forget or miss something. It also gives you a better idea of where to work instead of little bits all over.👍
Another amazing trip to central Portugal, it's good to see the rain has eased up for a while, won't be long until the heat of Summer kicks in and your back to preying for rain. The real world life of living in and around nature.
I really like the long held shots of the spring flowers with the chickens and the river. So often bloggers and videographers focus ever so briefly on something and then rush on to the next image before you’ve had a chance to take in the beauty. The gardens are beautiful and it’s so nice to feel like I’m in the setting. Thanks 🙏🏼
While Cari was baking the cake I had to put it on pause....so I could admire your KITCHEN, it has truly come a long way from what you started with. The GARDEN, even with its Spring Explosion, now is showing its structure, instead of the neglected wilderness it was. Last but not least is DEIGO; that abandoned, skinny, SICK baby has become a healthy, handsome, (little bit of a show-off) much loved brother and 4-legged child. Can't wait to see what happens next..............
hi carissa a top tip to pulling carrots out is if you push them down first, then pull the out they come out easier. i will be honest i havent tried it, but will do when i next plant up and the harvest is ready. the tip came from a a friend whos had an allotment for 40years and he says it works.also he says if you seed them in toilet rolls in your greenhouse and plant them out when ready in the toilet rolls the cardboard breaks down in the soil and you get straighter carrots that dont wrap around each other and the carrot tops you can save and make into a pesto
I *LOVE* your Ginko t-shirt that Carissa wore in the first few minutes. So much so that I bought one a few weeks ago and wore it at a family gathering. I'm experimenting with a white t-shirt in hope I can make it stay white past the first wash. Most people initially thought it was a mushroom (!) so I really enjoyed telling them about how ancient a plant it is, how it relates to other trees, how useful it is medicinally ... I can bore on for many hours. I tried to get others to buy them from your merchandise shop, too....
I just love the sights and sounds of Spring that you captured. The pets are all so adorable. My favorite is the white kitty but I find myself wanting a puppy in the breed of Frankie. All of them are so beautiful and seem to be living their best lives. Thanks for the recipe and cooking tutorial. Love your art so much.
My favourite Saturday morning bubble of peace! I await all of your vlogs with great anticipation, and love to relax in my cozy chair with my morning coffee and my iPad. You guys accomplish a great deal of work, yet you do it is such a calm, tranquil manner. Thank you for taking us along with you into your peaceful world. ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks for sharing, enjoying the channel. Just a tip for weeds in the garden, you can use the grass clippings to make a layer once the plants are big enough. Just put a decent amount all around, and the weeds won't grow, plus it's natural. Keep up the great work 🤟
Congrats!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Cake looks awesome. I love seeing you guys “drop in” for visits at several of our other channel’s we follow.😊😊😊 Love the wild flowers. ❤❤❤
You heard, and perhaps saw, a Scops Owl!?! That's a great privilege imo. Nightingales are lovely birds; though I had one spend the whole night above my head on the roof, when I was trying to sleep, before university exams ... it was very impressive for 15 mins. I still passed

@@FrankieOffGrid I've never seen a bee-eater - it's a 'bucket list' bird for me: something to be sure to see before I slough off this mortal coil (not due anytime soon). Maybe I should add Boobies in the Caribbean because who doesn't love boobies?
Congrats on 50k subs guys. This is my fave episode. Loved mostly nature sounds and a little music. So nice to hear the birds, crickets and the neighbours bell. And the flowers were just insane. So beautiful. So well captured.
