My God, the Visitor left me Speechless!! The attention to detail is second to none! Your right, you MUST get one, its incredible!
Tell me about it! Now I the unnameable task of sending send it back! :-(
however I will get one definitely.
Thank you
Best regards,
TGV
The Visitor left me speechless. Such an attention for detail, the case, the back ... oh, the rotor. Incredible.
Борислав Димитров the lumed crosshairs are original and very nice. It’s a shame that the hinge has visibly low tolerances and that the pearlage was done by a blind person in a hurry.
what is the price of that watch?
Love the "microbrand" reviews, not enough people do them. It's awesome to see other, viable choices from the big, well known brands. Thank you!
Your wristwatch checks pretty much sum up why you are one of the best watch enthusiast on youtube. It is so refreshing to see someone who has such an understanding and enthusiasm for the entire timepiece spectrum as you do. Much love, keep on doing what you do.
Thank you so much, it means a great deal to me to hear that.
Best regards,
TGV
Hemel case is absolutely beautiful. I also like the movement ... it will keep time well for years. The face looks better than most field watches I've seen, nothing on there junks it up. I would put it on a distressed leather strap.
How on earth can a microbrand like Visitor make such an incredibly beutiful rotor on a Myota, yet Rolex can't even sign it properly??
That VIsitor watch really blows me away. So much unique character and attention to detail! Definitely my favourite of the 3.
Totally agree, my fave too.
Thank you :D
Best regards,
TGV
When I saw that cashback on the visitor, my heart skipped a beat.
I love the Hemel, so classy and classic. The Visitor is just a work of art!
Love the look of the military inspired piece. Whoever made the call for a no date should be applauded.
Thank you Stephen, totally agree!
Best regards,
TGV
You just turned me into a Visitor fan. What an impressive piece!
That visitor is fantastic. I was thinking the exact thing about the case back
The visitor looks like a really well engineered creation. The hinge is brilliant. Correct me if I,m wrong but that lion logo presumably is based on old fashioned door knockers, hence the name Visitor. I wouldn,t change the strap because a lot of thought went into the buckle and is an integral part of the overall design.
That visitor watch is definitely alien/space inspired...that second hand mimics a craft zooming through space...and the hr markers mimic alien heads/stars.... The case resembles a craft shape as well...and the case back could be a craft hatch perhaps?? Love it!
That Visitor is really amazing, such a deco design with nothing wasted, very nice
Gary. Looks great, agree that if it had a better movement I would pay a lot more. Love the look, the detail on the rotar, the bezel makes me think of alien also, and generally 80s computer games or tron even
Indeed, thank you Gary,
Best regards,
TGV
That Visitor is really accomplishing what many watch collectors are asking for, its so different and "outside the box". I wonder if you could hide a small piece of paper or tiny photograph in the hinged caseback, like a locket. Its Gorgeous, all it needs is a date.
I am blown away by the Visitor watch. The first thought on seeing it was "Art Deco". The materials, the lines, it has a look that would place it in competition with much more expensive watches. And the hinged back was a surprise, something I can't remember ever seeing on a wrist watch. Unfortunately, here I am in September 2020 and all the models except the one most recently released have waiting lists (and one list was closed until they could meet the backed-up demand for it). The "Officer" looks destined to have it's place in a watch collection.
Great video as always :)
I used to love microbrands, but i feel that many of them are just generic homages or cash grabs these days. There are some microbrands like NTH that are making really good watches for the money. So for me it is important to really do you research about the brand and maybe ask on some forums what people think about a specific brand before you buy from them.
If that Klokers had a mechanical sweep for the seconds, it would be completely mesmerizing. Reminds me of my fathers circular slide rule he used in college.
Excellent video TGV! The video quality especially has really done a true service to all three pieces, particularly the ValePark. I'll be rewatching this episode several time to satiate myself while I wait for mine to arrive next year!
TGV, I actually was a backer for the Klok-01and got it considerably less for what it is selling for now. My only gripe was the slow rollout of the watches, a common theme for any Kickstarter campaign. Out of all of my watches in my humble collection, it is by far the watch that gets noticed the most, as well as the most comments and questions about. When people see it disengage from the clasp, the are in awe about it! Have never regretted buying that watch, and I am happy to see you spreading out into these micro brands. Wonderful video as always my good sir!
I just ran across this video tonight. I love seeing these kinds of micro brands and learning more about them. The Hemel has an absolutely beautiful case, it is probably the best overall quality of the three. The Klokers is fascinating, would look great in my watch box, but to me, absolutely unwearable! It protrudes too far to be practical, and would get banged up and probably broken very quickly.
As to the Visitor watches, I am completely blown away by the uniqueness of the strap, the dials, And most especially those absolutely striking, beautiful, cases! For quite some time now, I’ve been checking out reviews of striking and unusual looking watches, looking for one that knocked me out. I’ve seen quite a few of them, and I admire their uniqueness, but none really appealed to me personally. The Visitor watches have just dazzled me. After watching your video, I went to their homepage, and found all of the watches to be very special and unusual. I added my name to the waiting list for both the Vale Park Officer and the Dune Shore Blacksand. While I like both of them very much, I think I prefer the Blacksand. The case on the VPO is the best looking one to me, but the Blacksand is so striking, and I don’t have a totally black watch in my collection or on my wish list. I also think that I would worry about that respect that opens as it looks very vulnerable to damage.
I really appreciate this very interesting video, and being introduced to Visitor watches in particular!😄
After seeing this I am even more excited to be on the waiting list for the Vale Park. Thanks for doing the review...it's a stunning watch!
clmensch if you don't mind me asking how long did it take being on the waiting list before you had the chance to buy it?
I've waited for about 7 months until I got my email today. I've seen a reply to someone from VisitorWatches on Instagram that it usually takes 8-12 months.
Love the diversified reviews; vintage, entry level, mid level, luxury and now micro brands. Two German microbrand suggestions are Archimede and Defakto. Both brands use in- house cases made by the Ickler family. I own an Archimede Outdoor and I've not grown bored of it's design.
The Vale Park is really beautiful. I didn't know Visitor! Thanks for you video!
I really enjoyed this "new" style with the voice overs
Thank you, actually its just a new mic, I shoot the same way ;-)
Glad you like it,
Best regards,
TGV
I love the klokers, so special and different! It attracts curiosity ... I had never seen this watch. But the visitor is really fantastic, whaou !!! The best of the three. Best regards.Seb
As always a great video, I just love the Visitor
Fell in love with the Pilot! WOW! What a GREAT looking piece of art!
As a old beetle owner I like the Hemel :)
Love the visitor watch, microbrands are a lot of fun.
The Visitor watch would look perfect on Dekard's wrist. Denis Villeneuve is directing Blade Runner's sequel. Someone should tell him.
YESSSSSSSSS. That is so cool to hear.
Thank you Ian, spot on.
Best regards,
TGV
Really loving the videos, been a fan for almost a year now, and the channel is getting better and better. Keep it up!
Thank you so much Jordan, very flattered.
Best regards,
TGV
How do you expect me to keep saving for my grail watch when you keep coming out with these great videos on such appealing watches?! 😉
I just had to comment after lurking for a very long time. The Visitor is as exquisite as the klockers is ghastly. The Visitor is definitely on my radar. Keep up the good work I love this channel
I'm impressed by that Hemel watch!
Really appreciate your work! It's refreshing to see horology videos by someone who's imparting not just knowledge but their passion as well.
Thank you Aaron,
Very flattered by your kind words,
Best regards,
TGV
That visitor is totally stunning! Great reviews once again :-)
Thank you Richard :D
Best regards,
TGV
Great Video! That Visitor is quite interesting, and the hinged back is way cool!
Thank you Art :D
Best regards,
TGV
Pop had a slide rule back in the day so the Klokers brings back some memories. The Hemel is nice, but like you say it doesn't really bring anything to the table. I really like the Visitor and have heard nothing but positives about their watches. Love the strap with the brown and black combo. What a difference between the movement in the Vale Park vs the Track. Definitely get yours engraved with your family crest. Okay, another watch for a future purchase! I liked the Duneshore but it's just too big for me. This though, is spot on. You are right though about these micro brands - they can be quite daring and show off the personalities of the companies so well. Ciao, John
Thank you John, very glad to hear.
Definitely going to get a Vale Park, just wish it was sooner!
Best regards,
TGV
Thank you for the video. It's always very exciting to see new micro brands. Best regards, Anders.
That Visitor watch is astonishing!
I love the color scheme on the Hemel ! Very nice 👍🏼
Wow the visitor makes the Miyota do wonders! continue the good work TGV!
Absolutely! Thank you Mac,
Best regards,
TGV
God I fell in love with that Klok watch. Instant appreciation! But the water resistance is a huge deal breaker.
Why? U are diving? Or u are taking all ur watches into the sea for a swim?
That's why I love your channel Sir. This video is pure love for watches. We are seeing affordable timepieces that emphasis the Citizen-Miyota 9015 automatic movement. An affordable movement but at the same time a lovely and well built-around exercise in style. This is one of my favorite The Urban Gentry videos
love that your doing microbrands... I've been hooked up while ago for the fact of having something different in the wrist then all my friend and Ppl I see... thank-you!
Great video thanks for sharing I've added my name to the wait list for the both of Visitors watch's they are stunning, the ostrich strap is gorgeous!
Love these types of videos
Very glad to hear,
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Visitor watches rise to works of art. In a world of oh so boring dive watches, explorer homages etc. a visitor watch just exists on a different level. The look of these watches are like something from an alternate world, steampunk meets sci-fi dipped in art deco. Just amazing.
Fantastic review. Happy to see these microbrands discussed - and of note your Lorier videos are some of my favorite. Others microbrands to recommend: Weiss, Seals, Nodus, Oak & Oscar, Monta
The Hemel is nice and classic....but that Visitor is sublime! Nice finishing on the case and movement, great execution across the dial, hands, hinged hunter case, strap and movement. Wow. Nice job on the video.
Thank you so much :D
Best regards,
TGV
Cool stuff Tristano, keep up the good work.
I think I've found a new grail with that Hemel. I've been looking for AGES for an A-11 modern homage, and haven't been able to find one. This beauty checks all my boxes!
Zacharias Estrada Bulova uhf military
nice review on the visitor, surprised and dated watch! like it a lot
That klokers watch is simply insane.
I was loving Klockers until I realized they won't last but happy there is a 38mm case size. I might have to buy one just for fun! Visitor needs to make something for the ladies! Breathtaking!
I saw the Vale Park for the first time and thought, "This is what an operator in the Dishored universe would wear." Needless to say, I'm on the waiting list now. Probably going to pair with either a Hirsch Lucca or black rayskin.
Oh my the "Visitor Vale Park Officer" is astonishingly nice. I have to put that in my list of wants!!! Also I find the "KLOK 02 KLINK 02" more appealing than the Klok-01...my personal taste. Great video!
Magnificent watches, magnificent reviews, very professional.
very interesting time pieces from the microbrand side... specially the klokers, very original design... thanks for sharing, keep the good work! cheers!!!
How do you purchase the Visitor? Cant seem to find them on sale anywhere
I love the Visitor, especially the case back and the original look the watch has in general. Great video as always! I learned so much since I discovered your channel. You helped my interest in watches to grow so much, it became a true passion. Keep up the good work TGV! Best regards from ItalyAlessandro S.
The Visitor is absolutely stunning....I was drooling while watching it....pity there is a waiting list. Another nice video TGV 👍👍
Very interesting stuff. Thanks
Great video! Would love to see more microbrand watch reviews.
The lume on that Visitor...that's incredible.
Thank you Peter,
Best regards,
TGV
Hi tgv hope this finds you well? we'll i must say you've done it again, micro brands superb subject matter, well hands down the visitor outstanding a truly unique piece, so thank you for highlighting this brand to the masses, keep up the good work tgv love it ONWARDS AND UPWARDS, your friend Ryan.
Thank you Ryan, so glad you like that one too.
Best regards,
TGV
The Visitor is extremely versatile. I would wear it as a casual piece or as a robust dress watch; especially with a Crocodile strap.
I really love the Klokers watch, its just so COOL and different! Its one of those things you look at and say "I must have one" lol. Anyway, great video TGV
Nice pieces, TGV, but I gotta say I'm REALLY in love for this Visitor timepiece! Too bad I live in Brazil, so the $800 range becomes even more expensive, due to the taxes, shipping and aduana, but now I want it so bad... hahaha. So beautiful, original, futuristic (indeed) and its a good way to get a sandwich dial without being a homage or copy of the Panerais... Best regards, my friend!
Great Micro review!
The Klok is really a fun watch. I'm willing to forgive its drawbacks, it's really interesting.
But the Visitor is something else, LOL. The fact that the case back opens up is something you just don't expect, great idea indeed.
Thank you very much! Very interesting video.
Best regards,
Michele.
My word that Visitor is something else! Great vid TGV. Cheers.
Thank you Rush :D
Best regards,
TGV
This was wonderful TGV. That vitisor caseback function is stunning.
Thank you Lee :D
Best regards,
TGV
The Visitor VPO is stunning... Bravo!
Wow-the hinged back on the Visitor is amazing! I'd like to see a review of Martenero watches from New York, particularly the Marquis. Thanks for the great video-it made my day! Best-David
Thank you David, I will look into it, a watch brand from New York, intriguing!
Best regards,
TGV
That visitor is a gem of a watch 💯
Wowzerssssss that Visitor Vale Park Officer is sooo stunning. I joined the waiting list and can't wait to see one in person. I can see the lines and details that are impeccable on this reference. That ROTOR, a little expensive fora watch with this movement however, with this magnitude of detail, IM SOLD.
Great video TGV. The visitor looks interesting.
another great video dude! That VPO is something a bit special indeed! Looks amazing
Thank you Felix, very kind.
Hope you are well,
Best regards,
TGV
Like both the Hemel and the Visitor. Agree with you completely with the exhibition caseback on the Hemel. It adds nothing for me, but still seems like a bargain.
TGV,
I'm so glad I decided to take a look back through your older videos!
The Visitor Watch, is tits! I am a normally outspoken person, this watch left me ABSOLUTELY SPEECHLESS...
I'm a Tudor Fanboy unashamedly, BUT I MUST HAVE THIS WATCH!!! 😍😍😍
There is no way anyone could complain about this price point for such quality, craftsmanship, engineering and attention to detail attached to your wrist!
I think I'm in love...😍
Great review, love the VISITOR, need seen anything like it...now I have to buy one. I actually like all of the three micro brands you presented today.
Thanks. This is the best review of the Kloker I've seen and it highlighted a possible issue I hadn't considered (regarding wearing the watch on the right hand for us Lefties) and also just how high it sits off the wrist.
Wow, some fantastic watches.
That Visitor watch is amazing
Great video TGV!!! I also pre-ordered the Visitor Vale Park last month. Looking forward to that piece.
Thank you, you will not disappointed!
Best regards,
TGV
I'd like to see some reviews of the Aragon formerly Android watches with the Myota 9100 movement. Great Video. The Vale Park Officer is amazing,
Just had an email from Phillip at Visitor watch to say my spot has now opened for the Vale Park. Really excited to get my hands on this, I'm just hoping that english customs are nice to me with the import duty and VAT when it ships.
Nice video, that visitor watch is really amazing .I'm in love .
Thank you, me too!
Best regards,
TGV
Tgv do you have a discount code for long island watches?
I am with you 100% on the Visitor VPO. Love it. Wish I knew of it sooner so would have better chance of getting one.....
Always wanted a review of Scurfa Watches. I have one, and love it. Created by a gentleman named Paul Scurfield who is an actual diver. Amazing service and care by Paul himself when you order. Tisell is a great brand (amazing Pilot watches), along with Armida as another great brand. All really great quality for an affordable price.
Thanks for another great video TGV! Cheers.
Man that klokers makes me nervous, wish it were automatic... that Hemel is cool though
Thank you Ivan,
Best regards,
TGV
I bought the KLOK 1 last year. Died in a week! Returned it and the replacement died within 2 days!! I've been trying to get warranty service now for over 9 months and now they just stopped replying. I hate to say it, but DONT BUY KLOKERS. Questionable quality, and even worse service.
@@michaelbonick Klokers stoped theires activities, but an other compagny bought klokers and they restarted their activities now so you should try again to make your waranty work. Sorry english is not my mother tongue...
@@michaelbonick they went into administration... back again now
Well, I’ve a Klokers (actually my wife has one too) and they are not very good in terms of quality! But, it’s the most eye catching watch I’ve ever seen (at this price range) everyone always make a comment about it... and the vast majority consider it beautiful. It would be the only one I buy from this 3! First one is boring and the last was made by a mason!!
Did u personally modified your skx or did you get a watchmaker to do it for you?
Great video as always.
Regards,
Michael
Gosh how I wish the Kloker was mechanical! They have very smart straps and cases that can allow it to function as a pocket watch. Certainly more befitting of its large size!
For the cost of the watch and accessories , however, I couldn't justify investing in a quartz movement! A design like that deserves at very least a Seagull mechanical movement.
Came here because I was interested in the Klokers but that Visitor got me like... dayyyyum.
Great vid Tristano!
Thank you.
Thank you Zaki! :D
Best regards,
TGV
That visitor is beautiful, ah?
never believed that such a brave design will look so good. if he does everything properly, i think that in the following century he will grow tremendously. his Dunshore watch is also very nice, but if i were to spend 800 dollars on a watch i would get a nice squale. but thats just me.
I really admire your reviews, very interesting...Well Done!!
Thank you John, very kind.
Best regards,
TGV
I signed up on the wait list for the Vistor as well.
Okay I have to ask. What is the water resistance on the Visitor? It was not mentioned here, and not listed on the official site 🤔
Would you say that the hemel is suitable for light swimming?
