When "Parasite" was in the theaters, RUclips recommended "Train To Busan." I had seen other South Korean movies, so I thought I knew what to expect. The roller coaster ride through Fear, Dread, Anger and Sorrow left me emotionally drained. Kudos to the writer(s), director (s), actors, and, expecially the stunt performers who created a Modern Classic. The characters are "fleshed out," so when bad things happen, we feel for them. You weren't expecting to cry, but that reaction proves that your are Human.
@@TheRealMovieManGreg I definitely recommend Talk to Me, oh and Soft & Quiet, it's a hard movie to watch but really good. I'd also recommend the Terrifier movies, and A Star Is Born. I would recommend A Serbian Film too but that may be too much lol
I recommend the historical korean zombie version, Rampant. Also the sequel, Peninsula, to Busan, happens 4 years after the outbreak and the classic action Man From Nowhere.
😂😂his reaction towards the villain is exactly like mine when I 1st watched this. I wanted him to die in the worst way possible. I laughed everytime when he called him a mfker 🤣😂
I remember right after I watched this film, I called my parents, just sobbing and being like I LOVE YOU lol. Off topic, but if you wanna check out new music, there's a very popular new song that just came out called Standing Next To You by Jungkook. It's got major major Michael Jackson vibes.
Korean makes some awesome movies. You will enjoy these Korean films. They are equally as good as Train to Busan. Oldboy, The Front Line, Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War, I saw the Devil, New World, Montage, I saw the Devil, No Mercy (2010), The Man From Nowhere.
I don't want to watch any of the endless stream of vampire, werewolf, superhero, or zombie movies. Definitely not some stupid zombies-on-a-train movie. But based on Squid Game and a few other excellent Korean shows I gave it a chance. Wow.

I have a question for you. How beautiful is That big dude's wife by Western standards? In Korea, she is considered a woman of great beauty. I heard that in the West, women with many straight lines are considered beautiful, and in the East, women with many curves are considered beautiful.
With my Western eyes she's prettier-than-average, but not so much that she'd "launch 1000 ships" or anything. I'd actually call her more "cute" than "beautiful."
I'm from the U.S. and would say that for me she's a beautiful woman. I wouldn't call her "drop-dead-gorgeous" but I would call her beautiful. There were a lot of beautiful women in the movie. For me personally, I think that the car attendant, who was the 1st to be bitten by the girl, was tied with the wife for the most attractive woman in the movie.

That little girl actress freaking crushed that role. Those screams when she is about to lose her dad really hit me.

@MagsonDare Thanks for the answer! And I have learned the expression 'launch 1000 ships' now!
