    Thank you so much! I’ve been struggling to find a good tutorial that doesn’t distort the bottom text and this is the easiest and simplest tutorial that looks the best in the end!

    great! only video that automatically centers text and enlarges it. Then opening the dialogue box that clearly shows how to flip, move baseline, etc. Video goes immediately to my “save” file.”. I occasionally get asked for logo, text on a circle, etc. and I find myself eyeballing for forever. I know Illustrator can do all this, but if u don’t do text in a circle often enough, all these important tools tips are forgotten. I have a swim team logo that needs to be in 3 colors, banner, t-shirt…all in 3 colors. They will be perfect.

      Create logo with shape tools or pen tools or whatever, and then align them with the align window options.

    Cary is there any way to detach the path from the text other than making outline of text option.

    • @CaryHawkins
      @CaryHawkins  2 года назад

      I don't think so. Once you start typing on the path, the path and text are married. Outlines is the only way I know of to remove that. What's your goal in doing so?

    I know this video is older but I am having a tuff time. I am following along until it time to lock. My circle disappears. What am I doing wrong?

    • @CaryHawkins
      @CaryHawkins  7 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know. Locking doesn't make stuff disappear. It sounds like you need to try it again and make sure you aren't doing something other than what is mentioned. Best of luck!

    I just couudn't get it to do the same thing....you lost me when you selected the first word and said, 'you can no longer select it but you can select the circle...it didn't happen and I tried many times....

      @ck2106 2 года назад +1

      Same here. As soon as I hit Ctrl 2 the selection (circle) goes away, then I am not able to choose the path.

      @@ck2106 YES...too many details are missed in these tutorials about Photoshop.....they tell us as though we already know it, a tutorial is supposed to be instruction because we DON'T know it...!!!.

    • @CaryHawkins
      @CaryHawkins  2 года назад +1

      Ctrl + alt + 2 unlocks object that you have locked. If it's a layer lock, then go to your layer panel and unlock there.
