Hi Charlie! Awesome stuff as usual. Easy to follow and just makes me feel good to watch your instructional videos.
Can you please please do an instructional video on how to do WPAP effects? I would like to make some of my photos look cool like the effect.
Thanks a Million!!
Charley, you rock, thanks! Being I wasn't familiar with these tools, I slowed the playback speed down a little in settings, so I could catch everything. Then I watched it again at normal speed and voila, felt like a pro already! Super helpful, thanks!

Do you do laser engraving at all? I'm just getting into it, and need to learn to vectorize photos to be able to design things to engrave. Your videos seem really helpful, I'm curious how well everything is going to directly translate (my laser will arrive in 2 days). It might be something you'd be good at and be able to make some money with, and the videos may be able to be tailored to another audience while doing things that you're mostly already doing.
Thanks,,,,
Good dang job.
😃🙏🏼
Great content
Thank you
I was using image trace before this 😮
Haha same until recently.
You’re ahead of me. I can’t even figure that out 😅
I love you man
Love you too!
say no more, SUBSCRIBED.
THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Is there any workaround for affinity designer?
Thank you that was very helpful! I wasn’t able to only select black. Could I kindly ask for an advice on how to do this? Anyone knows how to select black without selecting white? I would love a more in-depth video about other settings and tools that could be used for such process :))
sick video
Thank you 🙏🏼
greeting sir i had a problem not sloved that when i copy from photoshop to illustrator may white background did not removed in illustrator
hello, can i convert a file with 250 jpg sequence images to vector in the same time?
Hi Charley,
Cannot find the downloadable link of the photo.
How are bud? This is freakin' awesome. 💯
I’m doing well thank you 🙏🏼
when I try to control V it takes the entire background with it, not sure why when its seperated in photoshop *edit* had to delete the bakground layer and it worked thanks!
same, this is super frustrating
how do you delete the backgorund layer?
Did anyone figure it out? Same problem here.
❤❤
Thanks brother
Why does it either take the whole image with background, or just the background in all black when I copy paste from photoshop?
But what if you don’t have Photoshop? What are the alternative steps using something like Canva?
❤
great video but cant find the downlaod link for the image you used to practice with ? have you removed it?
I didn't touch it so the link must of been removed by the source. Sorry! I found it on unsplash.com though.
@@CharleyPangus thanks cant see it on the link you put either just showing other photos . i will try searching but if you have found it and know the direct link to it or name of it that would be helpful thanks..
damn could explain more??? No downloadable image link, doesnt state which kinda file or anything...
When I pressed Ctrl + A from photoshop and Ctrl + C on AI, it pasted the full original image :(
Looks like great information but my adobe illustrator looks nothing like yours nor working like yours 🤷♂️ so im stuck at right click for rasterize , thank you though
super!
Great tutorial. My only nitpick at it is that whenever you apply the stamp filter on other pictures, it ends up looking off and not as detailed as the picture you used in the video. I tried missing with the numbers here and there, but it never looks quite right.
Scale up the image before following his tutorial. More pixels = more detail.
@@kriston9126 Thank you!
Another thing is if your picture isn’t shot with a high quality camera it’s not gonna look good and detailed with the stamp. You see the pic he used was a professional photo
😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩
🙏🏼😁
Hi. When i want to copy the image from photoshop to illustrator, it copy with a white background, although i selected only the subject. Can you help me with this? Thanks a lot.
did you find a solution?
@@gokselguney9390 can you help me i got same problem
I had the same problem. If you save the photo as a psd file and then open AI and go toe File-Place and the select the PSD it will jus t paste the image. But I’m still having trouble erasing the white background at the end.
Lots of good info in here but covered too quickly. Wish the video was about 50% longer with better explanations on the “why” of each step.
why does my image from photoshop always have a white background, when i place it in illustrator? im following the steps but it keeps giving me a white background. any tips on how to fix this?
Same, and do not see an answer in the comments
@@Potbillyband You cannot drag and drop (or copy and paste) from Photoshop to Illustrator, when needing a transparent background.
Save as: choose (PSD) save by clicking on file formats. In Illustrator, use "place" and choose the PSD file you saved.
The video instruction is great. Really like this new method.....and I KNOW your trying to keep the vid short, but SLOOOOOOOW down!!! I can't keep up!!!
when I try and delete the background it deletes the entire image
I had the same issue, and for me it was caused by pressing the Trace button rather than the expand button. So make the trace settings as described with the preview tick checked on. Then press the expand button, which for me was in the window on the right side of my screen. In the video he has it placed on the top bar.
