The future is now
It really is some amazing tech!
Finally HUB mount, that’s awesome!
Flow Through tech and HUB compatible is a game changer
SiCo Velos is also HUB and “flow through” low back pressure… seems that prompted Huxwrx to finally compete with HUB mount.
Looks like Huxwrx is leading the way in innovation and technology.
They're doing an awesome job!
I have the Flow556K and was going to pull the trigger on Flow762Ti, which I still like, but the serviceability of this is a big bonus.
serviceable AND HUB are awesome improvements.
But has anyone ever heard of a case so far where someone needed their Flow556k or Flow762Ti suppressor serviced by Hux for any reason?
What I've seen online quelling concerns about those cans being "non-serviceable" was that the self-tightening design helps maintain concentricity so you won't (or at minimum, you are less likely to) get a core strike or endcap strike, since it seems oftentimes traditional cans get strikes when they aren't mounted tightly or when they get loose during shooting. And so far I haven't heard of any anecdote claiming their fully 3D-printed Huxwrx can getting a strike. I know these cans are still relatively new, but has anyone's experience proven otherwise so far?
@@JGO219 I haven’t had that experience and don’t know anyone that has either. However, features like ease of cleaning and the hub compatibility are a convenience. Personally I prefer the lightness of the Flow 762Ti and I like the hux QD attachment so I’m sticking with that as my next can.
Good stuff Jeremy! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Wow they keep getting better
Always improving
At least my wait for a hub mount finally paid off 🤟
Yes! Use the Ventum with any of your favorite mounts! Its awesome
Bangpot!
🙌
Glad I held off on the Flow 762 now. Mainly because I didn't want to buy into a whole new muzzle device ecosystem. Awesome.
Yes, now you can use any mounts you like!
how about a surefire warcomp@@SilencerShop
Currently there are no aftermarket adapters to work with SureFire, but if there were a SureFire HUB adapter, it would work
Can’t wait to try one on my 300 ultra magnum.
It an do it!
i have a oss suppressor and its a beast 556
i plan on having it for a long time. so glad i went with the blow through suppressor
Flow through is a nice feature!
Wonder if you can replace the end cap with Dead Airs E-brake?
Of course this releases after I bought 3 huxwrx cans! Dang it I need the new mounting system 😂😂😂
You can never have too many!
Honestly I’d rather have the flow than the Ventum. But I’m cheap so I’m getting the Ventum.
Will they have an end cap for 5.56 like a sandman?
How does this compare to a huxwrx 7.62 flow through...
What is the decibel rating in 5.56 and 7.62?
still looked like a lot of gas coming out the ejection port to me?
Shot the Ventum yesterday and I've gotta say, I see no difference in performance, weight, and gas blowback to the other cans in there line up. I went back forth from the printed Huxwrk's 556k can and this and I could not tell whatsoever. I'd say this is the best option if you're needing an all in one can.
Agreed, they are very similar, but you get the benefits of HUB mount and the easily serviceable core. Glad you enjoyed the Ventum!
Compared to SiCo Velos??? Also HUB and “flow through” low back pressure… seems that prompted Huxwrx to finally compete with HUB mount.
What about some sort of signature ex.fire coming from the business end?
Any word if they’re gonna go to a surefire mount? And I’d like to see a video on all the muzzle devices that can take the HUB mount with the new can. I’d really appreciate that kind of information
A HUB mount round up would be great!
I seen a company, I think it was sd tactical? They have a Surefire adapter that can screw into most cans. Not sure how well it works though.
Damnit, I want one 😫
You'll like it!
Can SilencerShop do a decibel reduction measurement video for this model of suppressor like they have for others in the past? Thank you
We leave the sound testing to testing labs to provide the best information.
How much does it weigh with the different mounting options
When will this be instock?
I'm torn over these. The reason I love them is because I'm a left-handed shooter and these suppressors will virtually eliminate me eating a face full of gas on every trigger pull. The reason I'm not so in love with these suppressors is that their design makes them inherently louder than the standard suppressor. Not to mention that they spark and have a larger "flash signature" than a standard suppressor. I want a suppressor for the flash suppression as well as the lowered DB ratings. Primarily on my 300 blackout. As nice as the suppressors are, they seem pretty expensive just to have a can on my rifle that doesn't perform as well as a normal one for the same price or less. Albeit with the absence of a face full of gas.
I think that as these suppressors evolve they will eventually be able to match the noise level reduction as well as the flash signature reduction of your average suppressor while still being flow through. But until then, they still seem kind of gimmicky to me. The not quite as quiet as a standard suppressor and a bit more sparky and "flashy" then the average suppressor seems like a really big trade-off to me when they are coming in at the same price.
Modern high flow silencers like the HUXWRX, CAT, and others are actually some of the highest performing suppressors ever made. 3D Printing really allows these suppressors to use designs that were impossible before, so you can get the best of both worlds with sound reduction and back pressure reduction.
I’m not sure that’s true according to data from available tests. According to those, the HuxWrx Flow and Ventum cans perform same if not better than industry leading non flow-thru cans (with similar length and weight). The only thing I can think of is the tone may sound louder due to a slightly higher pitch. Also sparking is an issue. You can see in numerous Ventum review videos huge sparks even in daylight.
So, is there a chance you'll be able to get new core for different calibers? Or am I asking for too much?
Thats a questions for HUXWRX, but that would be very cool.
Really eyeballing this. as a first. Only wonder how their service is if you have an issue
They have excellent service, and failures that would require service are incredibly rare.
I will stick to proprietary muzzle devices only. FLOW 556k and FLOW 762 gang. Performance focus, not mix and matching.
The Flow series is awesome!
Exactly. HUB is another variable and failure point
@@UndertheTreesPNW The gimmick HUB system would have never existed if both manufacturers and consumers were performance and data driven. The industry should have standardized a muzzle device like the A2 birdcage and modify it over time with more mounting options. Imagine the A2 birdcage, we first modify it by allowing manufacturers to change the birdcage part of the muzzle to a break or compensator. We keep the grooves for gate-lock suppressor mounting, we extend the muzzle device and add teeth behind the grooves for ratcheting suppressor mounting. We then add and indexing tab and left hand coarse threads before the A2 grooves and then add the tapper. This could have had all the mounting options modern suppressors require and we keep adding and subtracting features as suppressor develop.
Still waiting on the next restock on this Ventum 762... 🤞🏽 maybe soon
Hopefully soon!
Any confirmed updates on whether all these Ventums are now shipping with the direct thread mount unattached? Lots of feedback about a shitty time removing the overtorqued mount from Huxwrx.
curious to see performance compared to the flow 762.
Its very similar
Im still a bit concerned about the titanium core, I im looking for a duty grade flow through and if this thing doesnt throw sparks when it gets hot that would be great.
It has some initial sparking, similar to any other titanium can, but we noticed that it went away pretty fast, perhaps due to the DMLS manufacturing.
I own a flow 556K and wish I had waited for the Ventum 5.56. I also have 30 cal guns and could buy one of these as well.
Question: Can you use a Ventum 30cal with a 5.56 AR if you buy the right conversion mount? Or would the 30 cal cap not work pressure wise? (or will they make a 5.56 cap you can buy separately)?
Thanks
Does it clear the sons of liberty nox Mount? The nomad doesn't.
If they had 3d pronted the entire can, made the can tighten on a direct thread mount, I would be in. I will wait and see on this one. Love the 7.62 Flow!!!
Sounds like the Flow 762 would be perfect for you!
People wanted a Helix QD with a HUB mount and they got it and don't like it. They didn't 3D print it because that would be expensive like the Flow 762 Ti.
@@SilencerShop already have the flow 7.62. Awesome can!!
@@FDCNC I get it about cost but let’s be honest, this isn’t a cheap hobby and you sometimes get what you pay for. Not saying Huxwrx is cheap, they’re not. Well made and worth the extra $$$
@@AZPatriot76 The consumer is always right until they aren't and I strongly believe this is one of those time when the consumer is wrong. I have always believed that the HUB system is a gimmick because if you truly urderstood silencers and how muzzzle device affect performance, you would buy proprietory muzzle devices becuase you would be performance driven and not mix and matching muzzle devices like legos.
Plan on using with my RPR 6.5 creedmoor primarily. Where can I find the hub QD mount adapter so I can use it with my QD 556 flash hider on my 556?
It should be available soon!
Im buying my first AR 556 and was going to go with the ventun 762 so i have the option to use it with 30 cal if i ever get one. Thoughts?
Thats a pretty good plan, the Ventum 762 is great on ARs thanks to the Flow-Through, but will also give you flexibility for 308, 6.5 Creedmoor, etc.
I watched some of those action footage scenes and no one was hitting the Shoot N C targets. The holes were already on there.
I literally just got the 762 flow TI today? Should I have gone with this instead?
If you don't need HUB mount, then I think the FLOW is an excellent choice.
Is there a FDE version in the future?
Thats a question for HUXWRX
Is this better than the 762 flow im just getting ready to buy this or the flow
If you need HUB mount, get the Ventum. If you're okay with the proprietary mount, the Flow is awesome.
What are the dbs and barrel restrictions?
No barrel length restrictions!
CLP? What cleaner is this?
You can find it at most outdoors stores, it may be labeled "Clean, Lubricate, Preventative"
I don’t see any information on the silencer shop but would this work with 6.5 creedmore?
Yes absolutely!
@@SilencerShop awesome, thank you!
I know it’s RUclips phone audio for me, but the 300blk subs (red mag) didn’t sound all that great to me. As in, not much better than my HX-QD 762 sounds with 300blk subs 🤷♂️
Hope this goes to Pew Science for 300blk subs testing. I really don’t care about .308 as we already know all of their cans perform well there with supers.
They finally got with the program....... Few years to late. I already own all the cans I'll ever need.
You can never have too many!
Will keymicro have enough room to fit?
Yes, we tested keymo!
Who knew Freddy Mercury shot ARs!? 😂..... 😎
HAHA Chase will love that!
😂😂😂
So with the mount its over a pound?
15 oz with the Direct Thread. QD systems may add more weight.
a really great price of what?
Compared to other HUXWRX cans and other silencers of the Ventums quality, its an incredible value.
Are they going to make one like this for 5.56?
Fingers crossed! The 7.62 one is great, a dedicated 5.56 would be awesome!
@@SilencerShop FINGERS CROSSED!
what optic is that???
Primary Arms 2x GLX MicroPrism on the AK, Vortex Viper PST 2 1-6 on the Daniel Defense AR10
Like this cause all my guns run xeno mounts for my nomad.
Yup, the HUB mount is a huge addition.
Any surefire hub adapters out there?
Not that we're aware of
@@SilencerShop guess I'll have to switch my muzzle device. Any suggestions on a good flash hider/ suppressor mount?? (One that will have a ventum hub)
OCL makes one, and B&T is releasing one along with their new line of suppressors
@failwheeldrive thanks for the heads up. Hopefully, they'll be compatible with the Ventum.
is it just me or does this sound very "sharp"
On supersonic 556, maybe. It has a pretty deep tone on the 30cal stuff. - Chase
Can you shoot 9mm with it?
No. 9mmis larger than 308.
why will noone talk about sound reduction with this?
It sounds great, we loved it on our semi auto hosts.
Hub and serviceable or easily replaceable core makes me far less apprehensive about a DMLS can.
Yup, there are a lot of great benefits to the Ventum!
Can you guys hook me up with a free one since you’ve been slacking on my sandman? Been a month and hasn’t even been certified
Hey there, please send us a message on IG, Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit, (YT doesn't have messaging) and reference this comment, we can assist getting that moving forward. - Chase
Silencershop. You have a responsibility to OSS to get it to fix its name from the stupid, Huxwrx incel company. Please harass them about it, because it's terrible and an insult to the green berets of the 19th SF Group that founded OSS.
