This project began with the core idea of creating a mock-up commercial for Koenigsegg. Originally, I planned to use a ONE:1 model I created about a year ago. However, as I started planning the project, I felt the need to use a different car - therefore redesigning the ONE:1, resulting in a new concept car.
This was my first time using Unreal Engine for a proper animation, utilizing the LUMEN real-time render engine. It was a great learning experience, and I definitely exceeded my own expectations with the possiblities of LUMEN.
Since this project was also my submission for a university assignment, I had only four weeks to redesign the car, work out the camera movements, and complete all the 3D work. It was super stressful, to say the least.
Rendered using an RTX 3090:
Studio Shots: Blender - Roughly 2 minutes per frame
Driving Shots: Unreal Engine - Roughly 30 seconds per frame
